Pesto Portland has graced us with more of her unique and flirty styling. The previously released 'SupaMiniSkirt' now comes in uber cool patterns. Pesto's designs are fresh and funky, perfect for this late summer weather. Once again, I am ultimately impressed with Pesto's rich patterned textures mixed with superb detailing. Her crafty primwork on the skirt prims are carefully rendered to ensure a perfect fit. I didn't need to edit this skirt at all, which almost never happens. I couldn't help but smile and try to feel what it must be like to be transported back to 1978, when I tried on this new 'Roller Romper' from *BOOM*.Yes, I know this 'romper' should be worn with roller-skates, but I had this nifty skateboard on hand. I figured it would at least give this outfit a more modern edge. The 'Roller Romper' is uber cute with an even more adorable prim bow on the back. And how can you not love the striped tube socks? The rainbow sweatbands complete this  super cool outfit, which just screams 'Dance, Dance, Dance'! I had gotten my first taste of Avy Fhang's designs at .:Shush:. when I was still a "noob" (I've been around for about 7 months now) and I have been infatuated with her fun and flirty pieces ever since. So, I was especially ecstatic when she gave me the opportunity to review some of her latest work. Avy has an amazing eye for detail, which shows through in her meticulously hand drawn textures. Her carefully placed highlights and bits of shading give her designs that extra feel of realism. In the first picture, I am wearing Avy's "At the shore bikini" in pink. This fabulous 2 piece come in array of delicious eye-popping colors that go perfect with this summer's vibrant color pallet. This piece also come with the uber cute "star sunglasses" and several layering options with is always a huge plus! If you want to cover-up, Avy also included the beautiful pareo (which comes with a version that does not have sunglasses on the hip) and an overlay top. One can't resist the delicate and perfectly rendered sheer fabric that this "cover-up" is made of. Simply divine. This is a definite favorite in my book!

In the second picture, I am sporting the "beach short pink & white". These shorts are the perfect length. Short enough to be very sexy, but leaves just enough to the imagination. I also love that these shorts are white, but do not lose detail. My one issue in SL, is that white just seems to glow and the features just disappear. Avy seems to have solved this problem by adeptly shading the shorts so the slightest wrinkle stands out. And the top! I am wearing the "Relaxing top transparent long" in pink. It's diaphanous texture is so light and sensual. It comes in 8 gorgeous colors with several layering options! You will see me pair this with her 'Fluffy Skirt and "Cargos" too.

I am donning Avy's "Fluffy Skirt" in dark blue in the third picture. I am in LOVE with this flowy skirt with a bohemian edge! Many times, skirts that are a bit "fluffy" tend to be a bit too "poofy" for my taste. However, Avy as usual knows just want a women want and gives it to us. The prim work is exceptional and flows with ever subtle movement. 

In the fourth picture, I am sporting the "Splatter Cargo Pants". Kierra just blogged the "Rock On" cargos, which are similar. I can seen why she likes them so much. The denim detailing and carefully sculpted cuffs are to die for! And paint splatters she adorned them with give them that extra something special. I also am loving the "Rock On" belt with the "kitchy" key chain with an 8 ball dangling from it! It's definitely an ideal touch.

In the fifth and last picture, I am wearing Avy's "Delicious Dress Green". This dress is truly delicious too! The ruffled and varied shades of green are simply yummy! Plus, you get a choice of two top options. Green and grey. I am wearing the grey in the third picture with the "Fluffy Skirt". This is a quintessential summer dress that can be worn casual with a pair of sandals or more dressy with a pair of chic stilettos.

Summer Of Love Fair - Part 1

The Summer of Love Fair will be between Midnight GMT July 17th (as July 18th breaks) until August 8th and is brought to you by Keira Seerose and her team CHIC Management.
The Fair's aim is to help raise awareness of Mental Health Issues and many of the top designers have come together to showcase items not available elsewhere until after the fair is over. :PESTO: is YUMMY! And I am not talking about the sauce! Pesto Portland is the talented designer behind all these cool and sexy creations. I just love Pesto's use of vibrant colors and eye-popping textures, which make her clothes extra appealing and very appetizing. Her sleek hand drawn details and carefully crafted prims, hug the lines of one's body perfectly. Pesto knows how to show just enough skin with out making her clothes look trashy and cheap. I think you know who some of these designers are, but I won't mention any names.

In the top two pictures, I am wearing Pesto's ultra-cute "LazyTankDress". It certainly is the perfect dress to slip into during these hot and lazy summer days. The dress has a super high mini that justs screams HAWT! The "neat" patterns are just so delicious that it makes it almost impossible to choose which one I want to wear. I was also very impressed with Pesto's flawless prim work on the skirt. This is such a rare find with this type of tank dress. I didn't have to edit the skirt one bit, which as you know by now is a BIG issue with me.

In the bottom two pictures, I am sporting Pesto's "LowDenimShorts". These also come in a fabulous array of colors and show just enough back to be alluring and not slutty. The shadowing and highlights on the shorts are done with an adept precision that brings the denim to life. I switched off pairing the shorts with the "OpenBoleroJacket" and "CroppedTankTop". I have a "thing" for bolero jackets and Pesto does this short sculpted jacket justice. The jacket comes with 4 layering options to suit your needs. It comes with a more modest layer that includes a white cropped tank. It comes with just the jacket, so you can layer it with another top of your choosing, liked the "CroppedTankTop", or no top all. If you are feeling especially risqué, the jacket also comes with a "nipple tape" option. You can wear the Bolero jacket and tape as one "jacket layer" or you can opt to wear the separate "nipple tape tank" layer. I hope that makes sense. *LOL*

If you are feeling a bit too heated, then the "CroppedTankTop" is an awesome choice that can be worn with just about anything. There are several brilliant colors to choose from and and come with a sensual"nippled version", which really doesn't need and explanation. If you are a more modest type, you can wear the "unnippled" version so there is no nipple shadowing. It's just nice and smooth.

Just when I think Truth Hawks created every possible style imaginable, he turns around and gives us even more! This week's new releases follow suit of all his recent creations, by mixing a bit of the old with the new. Retro style is very obviously very big at the moment and spans quite a few very different eras as well. In the the first picture, Truth brings back a bit of that bohemian feel with "Iris". This loosely braided hair style is wrapped with the same signature leather and beads (that I loved so much) from Truth's "BoHo" style a couple of weeks ago. And to top that off, the leather and beads have 21 different texture options! You can also choose not wear this option at all.

In the second picture, Kierra and I decided to be a little less country and a bit more rock n' roll with "Rayne". "Rayne" definitely has a bit of that mid 80s "hair band groupie" feel to it. However, Truth manages to glam it up and give it a hot modern look. I just love the razor cut layers that give it a full and whispy texture. Like so many of TRUTH's latest designs, this comes in a myriad of solid colors and their streaked counterparts. As one can clearly see, Kierra and I opted to wear the streaked version, because we got it like that! *LOL* I'm just kidding.... Well, kind off.... *LOL*

In the 3rd and last picture, which is definitely least for obvious reasons, Kierra and I are wearing "Lucille". No, we are not wearing B.B.King's beloved black Gibson guitars, but Truth's awesome new retro 50's style. This particular piece is definitely very reminiscent of Betty Page's trademark hairdo. Btw, we know we look a bit like clowns in this picture. It was a good idea that went terribly wrong, but Truth's hair, and not to mention Kierra's editing skills, was the redeeming factor that made this even remotely postable.

Yay! I was so excited when I opened these gorgeous pieces from Exodi! Ryker Beck has a very relaxed, yet beautiful style to her designs. The textures she uses remind me of soft cotton. Anywhere from a soft jersey and whispy linen to a more rough denim. Ryker's clothes just SCREAM summer!

In the first picture, Kierra and I attempting to play a game of basketball, in Exodi's " Imani Tee" and "Frayed Denim Lounge Shorts". Their cool style and vibrant colors just make one want to melt. Ryker's subtle detailing, like the prim bow on the tee and the perfectly drawn wrinkles on the shorts, bring life to her designs.

In the second picture, Kierra and I decided show off our "hard earned" bikini bodies in Ryker's fabulous "Regina" bikini. Her rich use of color and intricate detailing, give these bikinis a very exotic flavor. This has to be my favorite bikini yet! I actually needto go back and buy one in every color! I almost forgot to tell you about the jewelry. Ryker has really outdone herself with her bold, yet somehow delicate beads and metal work. Once again, these have a very Zen and exotic sense about them.

In the the third and last picture, Kierra and I decided to glam it up a bit, in Exodi's "Tea Time Dress". This elegant and ethereal design makes the consummate summer dress! The dress can be worn casual with sandals or as more formal attire when paired with gorgeous jewelry, such as Ryker's exquisite "Pearl Essentials" - necklace and earrings-and "Aubrey" bangles (I am obviously wearing it all). The textures she uses to sculpt her pearls, look like they came right from sea. Just like her clothes, Ryker's jewelry have a natural and delicate feel to them. Exodi's jewelry is clearly one of Sl's top contenders! Thank you Ryker!

ZOMBIE POPCORN CARNIVAL IS HERE IN SL!!!!

THE POPCORN FESTIVAL IS HERE IN SL!!!!

What is summer with out the the Carnival coming to town? I have many fond memories of the old busted rides, which look like they are ready to collapse, and all the cool booths with food and games.However, i was truly amazed at all the bright new shiny rides that were up and running, waiting for the hundreds of people soon to populate the fair carnival grounds. Actually it took "Zombie Popcorn" organizer, "Jenica Penucca", just one week to erect and design this whole build! For a neophyte builder, such as myself, that is just awe inspiring in itself!

Yay! The circus! I am paitentally waiting for it start!

And I am still patiently waiting for it start...............................................

Well, I guess I was bit early in all my excitement, so I decided to go and get my fortune told. And since the fortune teller must of been on break, I was left to my own devices.....

Hmmmmm...... The ball told me that a "person is watching me". The ball is probably right and also left out that the same person is also probably lhao!

The Fun House! I love the fun house and with all it's cool mirrors and mazes!

But I don't love clowns.....They scare me.....

Blah! I need to take a break after all the excitement. Oh! I forgot to mention, in all my excitement, that they also have a ton of cool 30Lgacha machines put out by SL's top designers. Just about every top designer that I can think of has joined up with this ultra cool carnival. How amazing is that? Rides, clowns and clothes! What more can a woman ask for?
