Event Madness!

So many events, so little time! It is almost impossible to keep track of all these exciting events, especially this Holiday Season. The ever popular Arcade Event is back for their December round! Unfortunately, I became a bit crop crazy and chopped off most of the dresses that I am wearing in both images. The second dress (bottom image) is a super chic Blouse Dress from RoMy Dash of  Marshmallows! This comfortable, but still sexy dress, can be worn alone or with pants, leggings and tights. This is also a TDR Fusion exclusive, so make you grab it!

The skin in the above image is special limited edition of PXL's long awaited and upcoming new skin line, called MIA! October Madness

There have been so many events and releases this month, which makes it almost impossible to keep up! We have the Cosmetics Fair and Kustom9, just to name a few. Plus a ton of new hair releases.
Nina Helix of .Birdy Skins. released a gorgeous version of her Rose skin line for the Cosmetics Fair.

I paired the skin with one Truth Hawks awesome new releases, called Katya. I absolutely adore the texture change hat that she comes with.
For Kustom9, aida Ewing of Glam Affair released a special edition of her latest Neva skin. It is available in 5 gorgeous make-ups in the Europa skin tone.

For the first 3 Neva make-ups, I decided to wear one of Tabata Jewell ,of Vanity Hair, fabulous recent hair releases, called Say my Name. I am in love with these long wild curls. This is definitely one hair that you absolutely must demo!
I also chose this wonderful statement necklace from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, called Rebekah. It is a TDR Fusion exclusive and is available in gold, silver and black.

For the last 2 Neva make-up  for Kustom9, I chose to wear this brilliant new hair from M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~. This sultry hair is called, Vlodovic, and is another wardrobe must.

Last Day for Hair Fair 2013 Featuring *The Alice Project*

Yes, I am always posting towards the close of event. Why? Well, mainly because I am slow and tend to procrastinate. Secondly, someone has to remind you of the amazing creations you may have forgotten to buy or missed. Like the those "to buy" demos that are still sitting in your inventory, anxiously awaiting to replaced with the real version. Anyway, if you have not gotten around to seeing what Alice Demonia (aka AliceProject Resident) of The Alice Project has released at Hair Fair 2013, then you must be living under a mesh rock. The Alice Project was probably one of the first brands in SL to create mesh hair. I remember being seriously depressed, because I did not have a mesh compatible PC at the time and could not demo her hair. Luckily, those days are gone. Alice created 6 gorgeous new hair styles for this year's Hair Fair! They are also go with her new 'Create Your Own Pack' system. This HUD driven system includes 5 hairstyles in each pack that you can color in any of your favorite Alice Project shades. Two CYO (create Your Own) HUDs are included with each purchase - Nova and Silk. However, if the older Infinity HUD is more your speed (pre-made color options), you have the choice to buy that too! **

Miss C. Hair at Hair Fair 2013!

DjAngeI Fallen of Mr and Miss C. Hair is probably one of the very few hair designers, who still does not use all mesh. Now you may think this is odd, but there are still many people who like prim hair. Especially, since it is easy to modify and has a nice natural flow. Sure, I have developed a preference for mesh hair, but DjAngel's hair is too lovely pass-up. I am using the ad I created for Miss C. Hair for this post, so I hope that is not cheating. Drifting Away

Summer is almost officially here, well not technically... However, this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend in the States, which kicks of the start of Summer - unofficially. Officially or unofficially, it is definitely feels like the Summer. I had been staring at this awesome kiddie pool from Cheeky Pea, called the "Cassie Pool". It is part of the 'Cassie's Backyard Barbecue' set, which is Cheeky Pea's FaMESHed exclusive this month. If you read my blog at all, you have seen me blog all or parts of this amazing set before. It is definitely a Summer must have for your home, especially if you love entertaining friends!

Now that warmer weather is here, you simply must find a gorgeous bikini to wear. Kallisto Destiny of  DRIFT, created a fabulous line of mesh bikinis in different textures and colors. The one I am wearing is called the"Tini Kini2" in leather. One feature that I really adore about this creation, is that is comes with a color change HUD. This way you have several color options to style this super sexy bikini with! I suggest going over to DRIFT now and try on a demo!

I am really impressed with all the new hair releases lately! There are so many it is hard to keep up. LOL!One of my absolute favorite styles is one of Kavar Cleanslate's (of Exile) recent releases, called "Independent Woman". The long full locks, which are expertly pulled back into a semi ponytail, are just too luscious for words! You must TP over to Exile and check-out all of Kavar's latest releases.

For last month's cycle of Collabor88, Hart Larsson of PXL Creations, introduced a new skin called "JADE". JADE has to be my favorite PXL skin to date! Hart is still in the works of perfecting JADE for the full release, but you can see she is perfect already. Just so you know, this is a WIP (work in progress) skin and in it's "bare" state. I am wearing the sunkissed tone too. If you have worn (or at least demoed) PXL Skins in the past, you will notice that she is quite different from Hart's previous skins. The lips are more glossy and less matte, the shading is not as intense in the face and she also has a more youthful appearance. At the same time, she still maintains all the lovely and realistic body definition that PXL is known for. Anyway, I am really excited for the full release of this beautiful skin! 

Oh! I almost forgot! I am wearing the most adorable necklace, called "Mia". She was created by the talented  Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo and it is a Collabor88 exclusive. Each part of the necklace is texture change via a HUD and comes with matching earrings! You can find the matching ring and headband in the LaGyo mainstore as well!

Alice In The Garden

The Garden, which is another awesome event from The Liaison Collaborative, is officially here! And if you are a 'Home Decor' addict like myself, or just simply want to update your home, this is one event you do NOT want miss! One of my favorite sets that you can find at The Garden, is this amazing mesh 'Alice Garden Set' from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. Her charming shabby chic style is always beautifully rendered. The set is made up of an unbelievably well detailed hammock, which comes with a TON of poses and props via script. There is also a beautiful pergola, which is adorned with string lights (unfortunately, you can not see it in these pics :/) To add some added lounge-y comfort, there are texture change pillows that you can copy and place to your liking. And, if that is not enough, there are also a bunch of garden games included. There is a croquet set, lawn darts and even horse shoes! So, please do yourself a favor and check out this set at The Garden. Plus, you will see many other fabulous creations there as well.
For such a relaxing day, I chose this yummy crocheted 'Flirtini Dress' from Kallisto Destiny of DRIFT. I have been dying to post this fabulous dress for some time now. It the perfect wardrobe staple to bring you right into summer. The texture of this rigged mesh dress is so well done. Because of this dress's crocheted texture, there are some areas where skin pokes through. So, in order to give this dress a very realistic look, Kalli created it to go with several skin tones! Still getting over being sick. Blah! At least I can dream about laying in the warm spring sun. I am wearing a bunch of super cute new releases. One of these items is is this awesome new 'Hangover Tank' from Kallisto Destiny of Drift. Not only is this a fabulous tank, but it is also a wardrobe MUST! The tank comes with   HUD that allows you re-color the tank in 15 gorgeous colors. If you want give the tank bit more feminine flair, it also comes with an optional ruffle layer that you can just add-on. Marry Lemur of Overhigh  has also been releasing many amazing new creations. I am in love with these short and sexy, but still very pretty, 'Barachiel' shorts. They come in a yummy assortment of fresh Spring pastels. I also have been meaning to post this EPIC 'Warmer Muffler' sweater from Morphine Janick of [monso]. I think the design and textures are really outstanding and definitely another wardrobe staple, like the tanks and shorts.
Skin Fair 2013 is still going on for a few more days and I still have more skins to show you too. For this post, I chose a Skin Fair exclusive from Carina Larsen of Amacci Skin  called "Rayna". Carina always makes lovely skins with a hand painted to look to them. She spends a lot of time shading and highlighting her skins in all the right places, which is why this is definitely a favorite of mine!
And last, but definitely not least, Isla Gealach (of Cheeky Pea) created this awesome outdoor 'Sara Garden Set'! It comes in 3 stunning colors, which are perfect for the season. I seriously love how the bed is constructed of what would look to be old found objects and put together in a shabby chic way. It also comes with a picnic blanket and basket. And if you love great animations, Isla always gives tons of options. It even comes in a PG or ADULT version too! Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).
