Last Minute Collabor88 MUST haves!

I am going to make this quick, since  Collabor88 closes at 1159pm SLT this evening. I have few more gorgeous items that you have to check-out before it ends. One of these items, is this fabulous 'Cargo Vest' from Harry Hyx of ISON. As you probably well know, I am huge fan of all of Harry's work. His mesh creations are simply divine! I love the relaxed, yet still very chic, look of this vest.

Btw, I must apologize for the crappy pics. I think my graphic card is going to die. I am hoping that maybe it is just from changes taken place during the roll out of server side baking. Regardless, it was impossible to take a clear pic. I checked every single issue it could be viewer wise (ie, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, window size, high res enabled, etc...). 

Anyway, back to my look... I paired the vest with another awesome Collabor88 exclusive. It is this simple, but seriously adorable, 'Retro Top' from Elisaokkbye Resident of [okkbye].

I needed the perfect necklace to go with this ensemble, so I chose to wear Maxi Gossamer's beautifully made '92 Summer Of Love' necklace. This is another June Collabor88 exclusive and is available in gold or silver. It is texture change too! Oh! Check-out the pillow in the above pic? Isn't it cute? I love these! It is called the "Chill Pillow" and it is available in a ton of colors that coincide with the zodiac. So, since my birthday is October 2nd, I chose 'Libra'. M4ri1yn Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~  , made this for this June's  Collabor88 as well. 

Bubbles Clawtooth always makes the best hair styles! I could not resist wearing his new long and sleek style, called "Over Me". Like all of the other items I mentioned, it is June  Collabor88 exclusive. The skin, however, is not. But, gorgeous none-the-less. This skin is from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- and is part of her latest 'Summer' skin line. This was made for the United Fashion Project, which is another event you will want to check-out. Even if it only to get this amazing new skin...

One last thing, and then I will shut-up. Cory Edo, of Trompe Loeil, created this fantastic 'Rustic Cabin' for June's Collabor88. This cozy cabin comes with a new 'materials enabled' version for the SL viewer. I think this option should be coming to Firestorm too. I hope so, since it is the viewer I use.

It's My Nature

Harry Hyx of  ISON, just released a gorgeous new mini collection of Spring/Summer mesh separates. It it made up of smart button down collared shirts that are tucked-in; sleek pencil skirts with a sexy side slit; chic bomber vests and jackets; over-sized leather boho bags; and even a beautiful dagger necklace. Harry's mesh is always perfectly rendered with the amazing textures. I am always in awe of  he places his wrinkles too.I know this may sound like an odd thing to be amazed by, but proper placement of such details gives the content much more realism.

For this post, I chose to wear Harry's 'Tucked-In Shirt' in a light neutral tone. The shirt comes with a HUD that gives 3 tone variations for each color you choose to wear. There is dark, medium and light tone. I simply adore all these options, since it makes a styling a breeze. I paired the shirt with his rich leather 'Bomber Vest' in taupe and added a pair of the lovely 'Tulip Shorts' from {mon tissu}.



To accessorize my look, I decided to keep things simple. I added  ISON's new 'Dagger Necklace', which comes in 3 different metals and 3 different lengths. I also decided to wear his wonderful new 'Boho Bag'. I am a huge fan of well made over-sized totes in RL and SL, so this bag is just perfect! I had this uber cute 'Owl Bracelet' from erratic, which I kept forgetting to wear and finally remembered. LOL. I can't emphasize enough just how much I love the clean lines and modern (but still very feminine) look too all of Harry Hyx's designs. You simply must TP over to ISON , so you can check-out Harry's new collection and try on some demos!
IKON (aka Ikon Innovia) just released a new line of stunning eyes, called 'Vanity Eyes'. If you know me, then you know that I love all of IKON's eyes. I am not usually loyal to just one brand for anything, but IKON pretty much has me hooked on his eyes. The 'Vanity Eyes' come in a ton of brilliant colors. However, if you normally wear IKON eyes, you may want to go a size up with the 'Vanity Eyes'. The pupils and iris are a bit smaller than in his previous versions. So, this is just something you may want to keep in mind. Please do your yourself a favor and try on some demos!
Oh! I almost forgot! Thora Charron of LeLutka, just released new hair styles. I am wearing her new 'Scarlet' style for this post. The short angular cut is just perfect for the warmer weather! So, with that said, here are your LMs:

How I Wish You Were Here....

Once again, I am completing a post that should of been up last night. You have got to love SL sometimes! *LOL*. Anyway, I FINALLY had the chance to post several pieces that I have been dying to blog for a little while now. Most of these are new (or at least fairly new) releases that I am sure you have seen already on other blogs or while pursuing the feeds. Two of these pieces come from the fabulous new designer, Elly Naire. I adore her simple, but very feminine designs that have become a wardrobe MUST! I am wearing her beautifully rendered 'victorian blouse', as well as her super adorable 'cowboy hat'. Both of these creations come in ton of gorgeous colors. I also got a chance to wear my new favorite earrings from Elikem Melodie of MONS. These amazing blue 'feather earrings', also come in green and white. Feathers have become a HUGE trend, especially when they adorn jewelry. So, I would just buy all three colors. I seriously LOVE them! Ekilem, who we all know makes "to-die-for" skins (you will be seeing several upcoming reviews of these too...laptop willing), also made some awesome bangles in a TON of colors and shapes. You will see in the pics below that I basically just mixed and matched them, while attaching as many as I could to my wrists (and that my viewer would allow me). For those of you who use Phoenix Viewer or Kirstens, you can attach several objects to one point, even though they don't give you second attachment points any more. All you have to right click on the object, select wear and attach to the object to the point that you want to wear it on. Depending on the attachment, you may need to mod. This is only necessary if you wear an object on a different attachment point then what it was made for.

Machang Pichot once again has dazzeled us with her beautiful prints and softly sculpted prims, which make-up her amazing textures. This Spring is filled with gauzey tunics and floral short suits. Awesome Newness from TRUTH & Grixdale

I just want to apologize to the designers who I blog for, since I have had a lot RL issues to attend to lately. Not to mention,  some problems with my new replacement laptop. I just wanted to give a quick mention to the skin I am wearing, since I am doing a full review on it. This is the latest skin from Ekilem Melodie of MONS and her name is 'Bella'. 'Bella' is definitely one of my new favs and is absolutely stunning. She is a bit different than the previous MONS skins and I like the change, but I will talk more about that later. I encourage you to check it out.

New Releases from Amacci Hair!

Carina Larsen just released a bunch of gorgeous new hair styles just in time for Spring. What I love most about her latest releases, are all the 'hat styles'. Not only are the hats awesome, but each part is texture/color change. Needless to say, this makes the combinations and styling options almost limitless! You can also opt to wear the hair with or without that hat. You can even wear the hat with a completely different style hair too. Carina definitely does not leave me wanting for more wear options. All of her creations are so fabulous that I don't know where to start. Well, I guess I do have one style that I find extra special and her name is 'Tracy'. 'Tracy' is wide brimmed straw hat with a hole at the top for the ponytail hairstyle. She is fabulous! As I mentioned before, the hat is color/texture change, so you can match it with anything in your Spring wardrobe....

I have another uber fab 'hat style', called 'Hannah', but she has a low ponytail topped off with a cool fedora. Like all the other hats, this is color/texture change. I was actually able to match it perfectly to my blazer. Love it!

Now, I have couple of 'non-hat styles' to show you. They are actually rather long, straight and thick. Carina creates wonderful textures for her hair. They have the 'flexi' for movement, but not too much. I think we have all seen hair with too much 'flexi' and it just looks greasy. Carina manages to find a prefect balance between sculpted prims for hold and flexi-prims for movement. A prime example of this would be with her latest style, called 'Emilia'. She has a coy look with a sexy side part and is definitely a must have!

If you like 'Emila' then you will definitely love 'Amita'. Instead of a side part, she has bangs with a bit of fringe. Her hair is slight tousled and place over the shouler and around the back of the neck, Simply Stunning!
