The super talented Mimikri Kit has been on fire lately, creating and releasing some of her best designs to date! She just recently released this beautiful camisole dress, called PIA. I adore the simplicity and relaxed flirty feel to this dress. It can be worn so many ways, but I decided to keep things simple and wear it as is. Carina Larsen of Amacci has released this fabulous new skin, called Tyne! Like all of Carina's skins, Tyne is expertly shaded with a luminous glow. Her body is beautifully rendered with a lovely tone. She is available in 12 stunning make-ups plus a "clear" version. Tyne also comes in a choice of 2 skin tones - cream and nutmeg. Each skin comes with a ton of options too, which include: 10 lipsticks (on tattoo), 3 cleavage options (on tattoo and shirt layer), several brow shapes and a blonde brow (on tattoo). AvaGardner Kungler always creates such stunning jewelry with an amazing organic feel to it. Although these Walhalla Necklace and Earrings are not a recent release, I could not help but mention them. The color story and gemstone shapes are so lovely, as with all her accessories. The Deep Freeze

Well, it really should be freezing here in NY, but it is rather mild in comparison to Winters past. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining, but something is definitely amiss. So, for my first post of the New Year... Oh! Happy New Years everyone!!! I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012! I should have an 'official' New Years post up later today  ^^ Anyway, I figured I would feature some cozy looks from a couple of my favorite designers. I have a 'HERRINGBONE MAXI SKIRT' & 'ANNIE SWEATER', from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE. This outfit is gorgeous!!! You have an oversized and super comfy wool sweater that is mixed with an beautifully tailored maxi skirt. Winter wear at it's most fabulous.
I also have an amazing and recently released 'Sangos Winter Cardigan', which was created by the uber talented Maya Levane of Tokidoki. This fleece lined wool cadi is the perfect winter staple and you can wear it with or without sleeves too. It comes in 6 beautiful colors as well. Maya also released the cutest new handbag that is also known as the 'Damsel Basket'. I just adore this wicker textured bag that comes in 3 different colors.

New Releases from Amacci Hair!

Carina Larsen just released a bunch of gorgeous new hair styles just in time for Spring. What I love most about her latest releases, are all the 'hat styles'. Not only are the hats awesome, but each part is texture/color change. Needless to say, this makes the combinations and styling options almost limitless! You can also opt to wear the hair with or without that hat. You can even wear the hat with a completely different style hair too. Carina definitely does not leave me wanting for more wear options. All of her creations are so fabulous that I don't know where to start. Well, I guess I do have one style that I find extra special and her name is 'Tracy'. 'Tracy' is wide brimmed straw hat with a hole at the top for the ponytail hairstyle. She is fabulous! As I mentioned before, the hat is color/texture change, so you can match it with anything in your Spring wardrobe....

I have another uber fab 'hat style', called 'Hannah', but she has a low ponytail topped off with a cool fedora. Like all the other hats, this is color/texture change. I was actually able to match it perfectly to my blazer. Love it!

Now, I have couple of 'non-hat styles' to show you. They are actually rather long, straight and thick. Carina creates wonderful textures for her hair. They have the 'flexi' for movement, but not too much. I think we have all seen hair with too much 'flexi' and it just looks greasy. Carina manages to find a prefect balance between sculpted prims for hold and flexi-prims for movement. A prime example of this would be with her latest style, called 'Emilia'. She has a coy look with a sexy side part and is definitely a must have!

If you like 'Emila' then you will definitely love 'Amita'. Instead of a side part, she has bangs with a bit of fringe. Her hair is slight tousled and place over the shouler and around the back of the neck, Simply Stunning!

Wow! Think this is my largest post ever! And it was really pleasure checking-out Aurora Deischer's latest designs, which are always exceptional. Her clothes are feminine with an edge, which is exactly how I think many of us woman feel. Her clothes can be delicate and "girl-y", like the 'Feelin' Spring Dress'. Or they can have sexy 'tomboy' appeal, like with her 'Bleached Booty Shorts'. No matter what you choose, you will always see Aurora's beautiful hand drawn textures that I am such a fan of. Her adeptly placed shadows and highlights giver her clothes that added element of realism that I love so much. Her detailing is fastidiousness and always kept to the highest of standards.  One of my favorite pieces, the 'Morning Glory Romper', has simple lines and a gorgeous silhouette. I just adore the metal zipper detailing and belted waist. Her 'Bleached Distressed Denim' jeans are another perfectly rendered piece, with their washed out textures and slightly tattered look. Plus they come in 6 yummy shades, as do the 'Booty Shorts'. I could go on forever about simple nuances that make Aurora's designs so exceptional, but I am bit blogged out at the moment. *LOL* So I figured that I would let her pieces speak for themselves. It is not difficult to see why I am so won over by Aurora's work.. Oh, did I mention that [aRAWRa] will be moving to a new sim? I let you know as soon as I as it up and ready.
