Color Shock

I have more Culture Shock goodness to show you from Peqe and MONS. I was feeling in fairly colorful mood and playing around with a few event exclssuives in my inventory, so this was result.... I paired a gorgeous 'Gyona' gown from Peqe with a fabulous 'Summer Love' shirt from MONS. I am so in love with the seasons pastels and brillant blues, so wearing this just kind of just lifted mood. I am also wear a new release from hair guru, Truth Hawks, called 'Kirby'. This super high ponytail is just irresitbale.

Rain and Shine

Spring is just around the corner, although it feels like Spring already in NY. And, since the weather can be a bit rain ridden this time of year, trench coats are a wardrobe must! machang Pichot, of Aoharu,  has created a gorgeous line of 'Spring Trench Coats', which are also made of mesh. machang's texturing is amazing and perfect. Her talent mixed with the mesh medium, makes for one gorgeous creation. The coats come in 10 lovely colors and 5 different sizes. Please maker sure you try a demo before buying!

I'm Trying To Catch-up...

I just wanted to apologize yet again for how behind I am. I am recovering from being pretty ill, plus I have had a lot of crazy RL stuff going on over the last few weeks. So, suffice to say, I had to put my blogging on the back burner and take care of things...not to mention myself. I will be working as hard as I can to catch-up. However, I also need to take care of my health, so I may not be able to crank out 2 posts a day. I may not be able to post everyday, but I will do my best. I am soooooo thankful to all the designers who have stood behind me. It really means a lot to me and I am so grateful for your understanding. I am also not angry at those who dropped me. I am sad, but I understand that every designer has different needs. I love you all regardless.
Anyway, in more exciting news, the fabulous Mimikri Kit went mesh! And let me just say, you would never know this was her first attempt. Her beautiful new 'Jada' suede pants and tanks are simply stunning! Mimi really is on par with her textures, which for me  is a huge issue with mesh. If a designer's texturing is poor, chances are their mesh creations look like bad polyester pants. Thankfully, Mimi's eye for detail helped her turn out these new mesh separates in style!
And, speaking of new mesh masters, I am wearing Truth Hawks other latest release (aka 'Barbabra'). Well, it was from last week, but I am still behind. So let's just pretend it is this week. Anyway, 'Barbara' is gorgeous with jaw dropping texture. She even comes with an additional prim attachment for more realistic movement. I think this is truly a brilliant idea, since movement is what is still missing from many mesh hairstyles. I also can not wait until mesh is re-sizable, because one size does not fit all (especially with mesh hair). Many of you may find you have to reshape your head, which I did quickly and poorly in the following pics. I was running behind, so I didn't have time to fuss with it :( For those of you who may not want to change their shape (trust me, Truth's hair is worth changing your shape for), please make sure you TRY A DEMO! There are still some kinks to worked-out with mesh, so make sure it fits before buying. Fortunately, SL technology moves fast, so mesh should be wearing better than ever in a few months. With Love (again) featuring Suriko Leimes

Suriko Leimes has become one of my favorite blogger buddies to do dual posts with. And, since we were both involved with the 'With Love, Again' hunt, it was natural that we both show off some of our favorite looks together. Unfortunately, this can be quite difficult, since we love a lot of the same designers.Regardless, we still have own sense of style and I feel we did a pretty fabulous job. Our looks are almost entirely made-up of items available from the hunt (with the exception of hair and some accessories). Suri and I both chose to to wear the 'Oksana' skin from Lara Hurely, becuase we were both IN LOVE with it. Rain, Rain Go Away!

Ughhh.... Well, Hurricane Irene is making her way up to NYC and my network connection is a bit shakey. I just hope I don't lose power or I will go nuts! I am never prepared for these things. I ran into Fairway to grab a couple of bagles and people were loaded up with gallons of waters, batteries, etc.. And I am just standing there with 2 lousy bagles. Well, I doubt we will lose water and electricity for a couple of weeks. And, since I don't eat that much anyway, I think the bagels and whaever else I have lying around will suffice. It's just funny to watch people go into to survival mode and overspend. I guess flood warnings could be good be for the economy...

This top comes with or with beads and in a ton of lovely colors. This is is definitely one of my favorite pieces lately.
Oh! I almost forgot! Izzie just came out with the best lipglosses! They look absolutely yummy and come in even tastier colors. Everyone has there thing... Some people can't do with out lashes or shadow. Lipgloss is a MUST for me, so I am always really excited when an awesome new lipgloss comes out and Izzie definitely hit ther spot with this. What better way is there to celebrate the end of Summer, but by wearing this fabulous 'KAPADA' dress from Applonia Criss's 'Pre-Fall Collection' at CHANTKARE? I was literally in awe over Applonia's amazing use of 'thick linen' textures and 'muted' colors. Her adept use of sculpts, which also move so well with my avi, make this one perfectly stunning dress! Is there no wonder why Applonia is one my FAVORITE designers in SL? I really can't say much more, except that you MUST get this dress! Such The Perfectionist....

Ahhh!!! Okay, you would think that with my laptop working and things completely up to par, that so would my posts. But, this post took apprx 24 hrs to complete! It wasn't because I ran into any problems, well...except for myself. *Laughs* I wanted my "come back" posts to be PERFECT! So, I fussed and fussed... and then fussed some more. The more I fuss the worse it gets. I guess I am also paying too much attention to my 'flickr' feedback, which has decreased some. I automatically think that this means my work is going downhill. Well, maybe that is why I have less feedback, or it could just mean nothing. I remember getting excited over the fact that I had 10 views. I was like, "OMG! Ten people actually looked at my picture!". Now, if I don't get close to 10 favs or more, I feel like something is majorly wrong. I don't know if this is just me, who gets like this over flickr feedback, or if many of you feel the same.
Anyway, I have A LOT of great stuff to show you! I have Sebastien Aries's exclusive styles for 'Hair Fair 2011'. Can I just tell you that Sebastien really hit the ball out of the park with these 2 styles?! He created a sex-kittish style, called 'Ingenue', which is adorned with perfect tiara. I mean, what girl does not love a tiara? And, just in case you don't, there is an option to go sans tiara. Sebastien then created a short and very sassy "do", called 'Bombshell', that is to die for! Plus, you have got to love how he names his hair. It makes his beautifully textured styles even more impossible to resist. My First Post With A Working Laptop! This is also feat. *Mimikri* and "LoQ Hairs" from Hair Fair 2011!

Wow! I couldn't believe how fast it took me to complete this post with a working laptop! No crashes, no freezes, no overheating, no extremely slow rez time and NO frustration! Yay! Anyway, I think I found the perfect combo of creations to go with this first post. I have finally been able to style and takes pics of a couple of my favorite designs from Mimikri Kit! I love her classic sexy style mixed with a tiny bit of bohemian flare. This is always a perfect mix for me. I have been long time fan of Mimikri's designs, so it really is an honor to work with her fabulous creations.
I also got a chance to post some amazing new hair styles, which you can find at 'Hair Fair 2011', from the wonderful Gia Pawpad of "LoQ Hairs". I have always loved her hair styles, but let me just tell you.... Gia really outdid herself with this release! Her texturing is on a whole other level and the designs are stunning! I am really in love with her new collection.
You will also notice that I am wearing a fabulous new pair of 'Koda Platform Pumps' from Stevenzuuh Gossipgirl of Fleshtone. These new shoes are incredible! They definitely satisfied my massive shoes addiction, at least for a couple of days. They come  in ton of brilliant colors and you definitely need them ALL!
