Uber Awesome New Event!

Yes, there is yet another amazing event in SL, called Uber, which I am sure you have already heard about by now. This awesome new event, which is brought to you by the uber talented team of Kaelyn Alecto and Truth Hawks, features the best designers that SL has to offer. The first round's theme, which started on July 31s (each new round starts on 30th or 31st of each month and ends on the 28th), is 'Beach Party'. A fabulous theme to celebrate the end of Summer. As far as future themes go, you will see more unique and artistic subject matter. So suffice it to say, I am uber excited about Uber!

Btw, I know I am seriously behind due to fact that I was away in Italy and I just had to fix the keyboard/touchpad on my laptop. For this post, I am obviously featuring just a few of the brilliant Uber exclusives. This stunning Antara Maxi Dress, which was created by the super talented Zaara Kohime of Zaara, has to be one of my favorite items from this round of Uber. I love the silky texture and gorgeous design. I paired it with these fabulous Nereida Wedges from Euroda 3D. The wonderful thing abou these wedges, is that they come with texture change HUD, which allows you color each part of shoe! These wedges come in choice of 3 color stories, so come over to Uber and grab them!

There are also a bunch of lovely skins and obviously hair to be found at this round of Uber. Shyla Diggs of Belleza, created this gorgeous new Beth skin for the event. Beth comes in 6 brilliant make-ups in Pale and Sunkissed skin tones. Each make-up also comes with a gloss lip (on tattoo), matte lip (on tattoo) and 3 brow colors!
This fabulous windswept is hair is from Minami Susanowa of Tulip. This style is called, Bethany and is absolute MUST HAVE for your wardrobe, so please make sure go by Uber and demo it!
August Collabor88 is in full swing too! And, OMG, it is Fabulous! The theme is 'The Odyssey', so think of anything related to Greek Mythology and absolute splendor! I couldn't help but wear this beautiful new Metis Necklace and Earrings from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo! The floral details are to die for! DjAngeI Fallen of Mr and Miss C. Hair is probably one of the very few hair designers, who still does not use all mesh. Now you may think this is odd, but there are still many people who like prim hair. Especially, since it is easy to modify and has a nice natural flow. Sure, I have developed a preference for mesh hair, but DjAngel's hair is too lovely pass-up. I am using the ad I created for Miss C. Hair for this post, so I hope that is not cheating. I am not feeling so well, so I will make this post quick. I have a lot of fabulous new things to show you. Most of them being 'Culture Shock 2012' previews, which will be available at the venue on the 4th. Until then, I will have to keep the url a secret. I also have fabulous corset, from the uber talented Aeon Perian of ~plank couture~, called the "Plurielle Corset". The gorgeous 'Wisteria' headpiece is a Culture Shock exclusive from LaGyo. Gyorgyna Larnia really outdid herself with all her amazing creations for this event. She also created this stunning 'Paisley' necklace and earrings. Not only is this set gorgeous, but it is texture change too! My hair is another Culture Shock preview from Kavar Cleanslate of  ::Exile::, called " ". I am in so in love with this style right now. Oh, and last but not least, Jin Elfan of Leverocci, just released so new and totally amazing mesh creations, including the 'Mary Jane Pumps' I am wearing. These pumps come in 20 YUMMY colors and are definite inventory MUST have!
One more thing! Skin diva, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, finally released 'Giselle'! 'Giselle' is absolutely gorgeous! Stay tuned for a full review, but in the mean time you can get an idea of just how beautiful she is in the below pics....

Location: These pics were taken at the fabulous 'New York City' SIM. This relatively new build is absolutely stunning! The textures and details are unbelievable. It is definitely one of the best new builds I have seen. Now, unlike a lot of NYC inspired SIMs, it doesn't try to completely replicate it. As a native New Yorker, this always has been a pet peeve of mine, since it is impossible to replicate this city. Especially on such a small scale. This SIM encompasses the true essence of Manhattan. There are areas that remind of the village and others of the upper east side. In any case, this is a must see! Plus, there are a ton of amazing stores as well.
