While it is still fairly cool in NY, the weather and fashion is definitely warming-up in SL. Spring is most definitely here! With the onset of a new season, there are always mega events all over the grid. This post is made-up of some of my favorite event exclusives this month.

The talented Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, created this AMAZING Miranda mesh bustier, which is adorned with beautiful mesh flowers in contrasting colors. This bustier is also part of her Carmen Miranda inspired 'Miranda Collection', which is available at The Arcade. This collection is made-up of the above bustier in several brilliant colors, earrings that match the same flower on the bustier and also color turbans. Each play is on 50L, so make sure you stop by The Arcade and try your luck at winning one or all of these gorgeous creations!

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, created this beautiful and sleek Ivana High Slit Skirt for FaMESHed. This skirt comes in nice array of Spring inspired colors and also has matching marbled top that you will see later in an upcoming post!

HAIR!

Ok, as promised, I decided to do one HUGE hair post! As most of you know,the last 2 months have been seriously crazy for me. I had been quite ill, my laptop was overheating and dying, and I am also still in recovery mode. There have been so many wonderful new hair releases in SL, as well as improvements in textures and colors. One of the biggest new trends now that I love, is creating HUDs to color hair. Not only does it save tons of space in your inventory, but it allows the designer to create more color options. Kavar Cleanslate of  :Exile:: has been using a HUD system for over few months now. Truth hawks and Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair , just started releasing hair that is colored via HUD and I love it. Ok, enough talk about HUDs and let me show you some hair. I also have some beautiful new skins to show to you as well.

I guess I will started with the latest releases from Kavar Cleanslate :;Exile:: (FYI: I love all of these hair designers equally, so there is no specific importance to the order):

I am in LOVE with Exile's new long flowing hair styles! They are just too sexy words! I wore them with Belleza's latest skin line, called 'Leila'! This is definitely my favorite Belleza skin since Ava .These lovely make-ups are all Boutique exclusives. There are a choice of 4 make-ups (I am showing 3 out of 4), which are available in all the current Belleza-skin tones. FYI: the full release of  the Leila skin line will be available in the new -Belleza- mainstore. So stayed tuned for pics.

The next group of brilliant new hair releases that I have to show you are from TRUTH HAIR. I love the delicate feminine feel to all 3 of these hair styles, which go perfectly with all my new Fall clothes. Now that Truth's hair is colored via HUD, you will never have trouble finding the perfect shade of (insert hair color here).

I am wearing one of the latest new skin's from -Glam Affair-, called 'Lucy'. OMG! I LOVE LUCY! The skin is luminous, the make-ups are stunning and the lips aret perfect!

Tabata's Jewell's (of Vanity Hair) new releases are absolutely fabulous! She basically revamped her whole hair line. She is now using mainly rigged mesh and an awesome HUD to color her hair. Why is the HUD so great? Well, besides being able to use it color your hair with her existing colors/textures, you can also use it to tint your hair any way you want! It basically gives you an endless selection of color! Now, as far as Tabata's newest styles go, they are all amazing and all very different. From beautiful braided boho styled tresses to vampy fashionsita waves, she has something for everyone!

The skin I am wearing is one of the many new releases from Izzie Button, called 'Kaelyn'. Hmm.., I wonder how she came up with that name? LOL! This skin is really one of Izzie's best skins to date. The features and details of this skin are just gorgeous!

Dazzled!

Well, I am back! I had to take a bit of break for issues that I had to attend to in RL. So, it has been awhile since I have been posting regularly. It feels strange. LOL! I also have a lot of amazing new releases to talk about and I really do not know where to start.
I guess I will start with the most obvious - August's cycle of Collabor88! It is Collabor88's 2 year Anniversary! Yay! I can't get over the fact that I have been blogging this event for 2 years now. I am one of the fortunate bloggers, who has been a part of Collabor88's Press Team from the very beginning. I still wonder to this day, why someone would pick me to cover such a spectacular event. I was part of a team that included all of SL's best bloggers and I just couldn't see how I fit in. Regardless of how I ended up being involved with Collabor88, I feel truly honored and fortunate to be a part of it. I knew from day one that this event was going to be really special. The list of designers says it all. Not to mention Collabor88's awesome management team. Because of this perfect collaboration of creative and inspiring people, Collabor88 is more popular than ever! Each new cycle is like Christmas. I am always anxiously waiting to see all the incredible creations each designer has made. For Collabor88's 2 Year Anniversary, the theme is absolutely brilliant! It is called "Razzle Dazzle". Think of classic 1920's style (ie,' The Great Gatsby', flappers, speakeasies, art deco, etc...). The 20's is definitely one of my favorite decades for fashion and design. So suffice it say, I am ecstatic over this month's creations. I know you probably have already seen most of what I am posting, but it never hurts to show it again.

This mesh "Dazzle Gown" from Harry Hyx (of ISON) is to die for! I love the sleek lines that are accentuated with a sequined applique. From the super low "V" neckline to the sheer "cut-out" sleeves, this gown is pure heaven. This dress is also materials enabled. Unfortunately, I use the Firestorm viewer, so I can't show you what it looks like.Firestorm doesn't have this option yet. I think it is definitely time for me to download the SL viewer, so I can show-off all of the amazing effects of this new feature.

I paired this dress with these perfect "Pickford Heels" from Betty Doyle of Ingenue. They are designed to be worn with Slink's mesh bare feet (medium height) and come in nice array of yummy colors. I am always very impressed with Betty's shoes and I really adore that she creates shoes that are made for mesh feet!

This month's Collabor88 has lots of gorgeous jewelry. One of my favorite sets, is Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) "Helen Collection"! Gyo really outdid herself, when creating these 'art deco' themed pieces. For this post, I am just wearing the her long 'Helen Necklace'. I will be posting the rest of this collection very soon. Each part of this necklace is color change via HUD. There are two color palates that you can choose from. Or you can just buy all the colors in one big HUD, which I highly recommend. All of the pieces in this collection can be fully customized like this necklace. 

The skin I am wearing is a Collabor88 exclusive from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-. It is her stunning new 'Katya' skin. This skin is so lovely and is available in 7 different make-ups. Each make-up comes in the Jamaica or Europa skin tone too. 

My hair is yet another beautiful Collabor88 exclusive from Morphine Janick of [monso]. It is called "My Hair - Daisy" and I just love the uber chic cut of this hair. It is 'materials ready' too. My friend showed me a image of what this hair look liked with the materials option on and it is really incredible! It gives the hair so much more depth and shine. I was truly amazed. 

Speaking of Anniversary's, it is L’accessoires First Anniversary this month! All of the 19 designers, who are featured this month, really went all out for this celebration. Please keep in mind that all of the items are exclusive to this event  and are sold in limited quantities. If you like what you see, you better run and grab it! 

 L’accessoires has always been one of my favorite events in SL, especially since I have a serious accessories addiction. In the above image, I have on two L’accessoires event exclusives. I am wearing a gorgeous "Pensamiento" headpiece that comes in 4 different colors from Neftisis Rhiadra of MiWardrobe. I also have on this fabulous "Minimal Bold Ring" from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. The ring has texture change script with 3 colors to choose from.

I am always really excited when Mimikri Kit, of Mimikri Hot Couture, releases a new creation. Her designs are always unique and completely original. Mimi not only creates her own amazing textures, but she makes her own high quality mesh as well. Unfortunately  such talents are becoming much more rare in SL. There are very few designers who do this. At least 80 percent of SL's fashion content are made from templates. Now, there is nothing wrong with templates. However, there is something really to be said about designers whose content is completely their own.
'TONI' is Mimi's latest ensemble and consists of a gorgeous highly detailed mini-skirt; a stunning striped sweater; and an adorable chunky vest. Melancholia

The dark days of Winter are here and I am already dreaming of Spring. I know that in a blink of  an eye, the warmer weather will be here and half of another year has past. I often find myself thinking of when I was an adolescent. Time seemed to move at a snails pace, while anticipating life as an adult. Well, be careful for you wish for. By the time I fully emerged into an genuine responsible adult, time went by so fast. Ten years gone and where did it all go? I apologize for the somber mood of this post, but this has been on my mind.

High Style from 'House of Fox'

I was checking out the new Rumour Sim, which I LOVE, when I came across House of Fox. I was immediately drawn to their awesome selection of progressive and unique designs. Yes, I love a lot of the "mainstream trends" that SL and RL are saturated with, but it refreshing to see a group of designers creating trends, not following them. House of Fox does exactly this and is made up of a few uber creative designers, who are doing their own thing very well. I was lucky enough to speak to Fashionboi Landar, one of the fierce designers behinds 'H.O.F', and even luckier to receive some of his pieces to review. Thank you Fashionboi! Once again, I see a small resemblance to Jean-Paul Gaultier in Fashionboi's designs, like the use of lingerie as outerwear and asymmetrical prims, which are more like works of art than just plain fashion.
In the first picture, I am wearing the 'Edgy Tutu'. I simply adore this piece! I just love generous layering of delicate tulle contrasted by the thick leather jacket. Unfortunately, thanks to an SL lighting glitch, the white texture seems to look a bit more like satin here. But it actually is a very sleek and soft leathery fabric. The lace bra is finishing touch touch on this already incredible piece. Fashionboi has an exceptional eye for detail and the prim work is superb. He really has a feel for what women love and I definitely did not want to take off this tutu. I felt like I was kid again, when I got my first tutu and insisted on sleeping in it.
In the second picture, Fashionboi has me looking incredible and in charge, in his 'ModernAge' number. The silver studded leather corset mixed with the ultra sheer skirt makes me feel like I should be strutting down the runways in 'Byrant Park' at fashion week. Once again, Fashionboi manifests his creative vision into virtual form, not overlooking the slightest detail.
In the third and last picture, I am sporting this fabulous 'VintageJumper'. The lace texturing is divine! And Fashionboi's prim work on the sculpted cuffs are seamless, allowing for a perfect fit. I paired this with the 'AngynessHeels', which are my new favorite ankle boots. The leather fabric is so smooth and yummy! And I love how it is adorned with silver buckles and adeptly places laces. These shoes can't help but make you look a feel HAWT. Ok, enough of my blabbering, get your cute pixilateed butt down to House of Fox and check Fashionboi's designs in person.
