Baiastice at Hair Fair 2013 and PXL's JADE!

Wow! Sissy Pessoa of  Baiastice has  really outdone herself with the hair she created for this year's Hair Fair. She made 4 stunning mesh hair styles that you simply must check-out! I am really impressed and love all of them! Please remember that part of the proceeds from the sale of these hairstyles will go to a cause that is close my heart, Wigs For Kids. I know that I have been teasing you with previews of Hart Larsson's new skin line, "JADE". Well, he has finally finished "JADE" and she is now available at the PXL mainstore! JADE comes with a plethora of wear options that I feel will please any skin connoisseur. First off, she is available in 8 gorgeous skin tones (pale, natural, light tan, sunkissed, olive, tan, dark and ebony. Each skin comes in 15 lip colors with 3 base options (regular, enhanced cheekbones and freckles) that are embedded into the skin. It also comes with a multitude of tattoo layers, which you can mix and match with ease. These layers include: 5 brow colors, a brow eraser, 3 cleavage sizes, 3 mole options, 3 lips glosses and also a glove layer for prim nails. PXL also makes appliers in all tones for Slink mesh hands and feet, as well as Lola and Lush mesh breasts. You simply must try on a demo ASAP!

Memoire

Hmmm! So much going on! First of all, I am so happy to say that for the first time EVER, I was able to see the MAYFAIR SIM fully rezzed! If you read my blog, you probably have heard me whine quite a bit about my mesh issues and overall connection problems.  Mesh would rarely want to rez, especially a whole mesh sim with detailed baked textures. If I needed to purchase something from Celoe or Mon Tissu, which was not on MP, I had to blindly click around for the vendor I needed. I was only able to do that after about 5 relogs too. Finally, about a month ago, I found out what was wrong with my connection. I needed a better router. And, let me just say, SL has been a whole different experience and much more fun to say the least. So the MAYFAIR SIM was my final test to see if my issue was truly resolved. I have to admit, I put it off for quite some time since I was scared I would still see nothing. But yesterday I decided to go there and it rezzed right away! Yay! I decided to take the pics for my post there too.
I also have some good news for -Belleza- skin lovers. The team over at -Belleza- created a new monthly event at their store, called 'Best Buys'. On the first Friday of every month, they will release exclusive skins for just $400L and it will last for 3 days only. For this first round, they released 'Ava' in 3 gorgeous make-ups! They also released 2 special versions of their male skins as well. The 'Ava' skins are available in 4 different skin tones (pale, sunkissed, tan and medium). The -Belleza- appliers for Lush and Lolas are compatible with these tones. You can also get the 'Ava' lips pack (in your favorite skin tone), to give your skin more wear options.
Oh! I really was so excited and flattered to find out that blogger extraordinaire, Nadja Baxter (of German Style), chose me as her blogger "pick"for Style Academy Feed's 'Faculty Picks'! I have always looked-up to Nadja for her fabulous style, stunning images and longevity as a blogger. It was truly an honor to be chosen by a blogger with such prestige and talent. To be honest, I really did not even think she knew I existed. LOL. I am always surprised to find out that anyone knows who I am, especially since there are thousands of SL fashion blogs. Nadja chose Mimikri Kit as her 'Designer Pick", which I was thrilled about. Both Nadja and Mimi are SL originals, who helped to shape the SL fashion world and make it what it is today. Leather and Lace

I just found some info the hard way. Do NOT install 'Skydrive', if you plan on taking pictures in SL or want to crash every 5 minutes. LOL! I had installed 'Skydrive' late Thursday night. I probably was not thinking too clearly from all the Thanksgiving food and wine. I did have this gut feeling that it could interfere with my viewer, but it started-up ok. So, I did not pay any attention to it. After a terrible couple of days dealing with my inventory not loading at all and crashing all the time, I finally was ready to take a picture. It crashed before I could hit the save button. I was really tired, so I went bed and figured it was just another crash. The next day, I struggled all day to rez my avatar. Once again, I got everything in order and was ready to snap away. But I  couldn't. No matter what setting or viewer I used, I crashed as soon as tried to press save. I started to freak, thinking something was majorly wrong with my computer. I decided to check the JIRA's to see if maybe there were some kindof bug or issue with SL over the Holiday weekend. And, sure enough, it said that 'Skydrive' would cause this type of behavior from a viewer. So, I quickly un-installed it and prayed that this was the problem. It was!  Whew! If my pictures suck, it is because I rushed to take them.

Winter In The Sun

Hart Larsson of PXL Skins has created yet another amazing new skin! This new skin is called, 'Sophia'. This is most definitely my favorite PXL skin to date! All of Hart's skins are lovely, but something about Sophia's lips, make this skin perfect for me. But, before you go running to try on some demos, I must remind you that 'Sophia' is not yet available in the store and this is a  just tiny teaser. However, 'Sophia' will be making her debut with a mini release at the 'Around The World' event, which starts on the 15th of November! This is definitely one release, you do not want to miss!
Oh! Speaking of awesome new releases, Ikon Innovia just released a stunning new line of eyes! They are called 'Eternal Eyes'. As you probably know, all I wear are Ikon's eyes. Dea!

I love rich textures for Fall and Winter. Well, who doesn't? Unless, of course, you live in an area that is warm all year round. Mimikri Kit, who is the queen of opulent designs and textures, made a gorgeous line of separates that suits this need. Babydoll

I love collaborations between designers! They make for the most amazing creations. When you put two seriously talented designers together, such as NyuNyu Kimono ( Nyu) and Maylee Oh (The Secret Store), you get one fabulous 'Fall Babydoll Dress'! The dress is all rigged mesh, which is made perfectly! And, OMG, the textures are out of this world. Not to mention that it comes in a ton of gorgeous rich Autumn tones. I don't know how anyone could resist such a beautiful creation. For this post, I wanted to convey a 'Lolita-esque' look, which is not too hard to pull off with such a cute 'Babydoll'. I added my favorite over-the-knee socks from The The Secret Store. I also wore this uber adorable 'Miki' hair from LaViere and 'Blackdrop' hat from LaGyo, which are both Collabor88 exclusives. Oh, and the fur wrap! I grabbed this all mesh piece from SAIKIN earlier this year and finally found the perfect excuse to wear it. I took the pics in this amazing 'Del Ray' skybox fromLeverocci . It was a FaMESHed exclusive. But unfortunately, due to a DNS bug, I have been having major issues with mesh rezzing. I need to make this post quick! I wanted to have all this posted yesterday, but my connection was terrible and mesh did not want to rez for me. Yah, I know, what is new :/? But, seriously, how can I call my cable company and say, "Ummm... Can you find out what is wrong with my connection, because my mesh won't rez in SL?" Anyway, it is the end of the October cycle of FaMESHed. I had quite a few more items to show you, such as the AMAZING mesh skybox from Leverocci , cute mesh dresses and clogs from FANATIK, and some gorgeous separates from MOLiCHiNO . However, because I have had such and insane month with RL family stuff, RL health issues and a shotty connection, I was not able to get to it all. On a brighter note, I managed to snap some pics of these seriously chic 'Trench Coats' from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. They are available in leather or wool textures and come in a ton of beautiful Fall colors. She even added a pink wool coat for all you pink lovers out there. So, RUNNNNNN to FaMESHed, before this cycle ends tomorrow!
Kavar Cleanslate of ::Exile::  has been releasing like a mad man again! I am so thankful for this too! He really has created some fabulous MUST have hairstyles. But then again, he always does just that. One of my new favorite styles is called, 'Wild Horses'. I simply adore how he names his hair and this 'do' is gorgeous. Friends with Benefits!

Ok, it is not what you think. While a 'friend with benefits' can serve a vital purpose at times in RL, it can be many different things in SL. For the sake of this post, a male avi was needed. This is a time when a good female friend with a very hot MALT ('male alt'... for those of you who do not know) comes in handy. My amazing friend, blogger and SL social chatterbox, Kaelyn Alecto, is equipped with a very exquisite MALT! To be honest, she needed me for a post, so I made the best of her temporary handsome physique and posted too. LOL.
We both decided to take advantage of some of the best SL Autumn collections. She (as a he... I'll call him 'Kevin') wore the new casual and sexy 'Fall Outfit (men)' from GizzA and I wore this stunning CINEMA exclusive from Baiastice. For all of you men out there in need of fabulous clothes, Giz Seorn of GizzA  makes some of the best menswear on the grid. Not to mention her female creations are absolutely stunning too! I felt that Kae's (Ahem...I mean 'Kevin's') laid-back leather jacket and relaxed trousers went perfectly with my classic tweed 'Edy Jacket' from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. Autumn *Tea Time*

Tea Xofan is not only an AMAZING blogger, but an AMAZING designer too! She creates the most unique designs. From accessories to clothes, Tea manages to render beautiful pieces with a vintage flair to them. For this post, I decided to wear her latest release, which is a long and gorgeous rigged mesh floral trench coat that comes in beautiful Autumn tones. Vicereine

I have been having a crazy day with my Internet connection coming and going. *LOL* So I am going totry and keep this post really short, so I can finally get it up on the feeds. For this post, I am featuring a recent release from the 'Indyra Originals Couture' line, called 'Vicereine'. What makes 'Vicereine' special is that it is three outfits in one with two different versions for each. There is a gown, pant suit and bodysuit. They come in sheer and regular versions too! Indyra gives so many different layers that the wear options are endless. I chose to wear the non-sheer version of the gown. It also comes with a ruffled neck pieces that is adorned with a beautiful cameo pendant. But, I chose to go with a more sleek look for this post, because I loved having that versatility.
