Wow! I am on a ROLL! Two posts in two days! I am going to try for three, but I will not promise anything. It always seems when things are finally going smoothly, a huge bump in the road in the road appears and throws me way off course. For this post, I wore a color I never thought I would ever wear - PINK! Except for lingerie and sleepwear, I never wear pink. Not even  in SL. However, the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet (of *LpD*) just released this gorgeous mesh *LIV* coat. It comes in many wonderful color combinations, including black (my favorite color...errr shade), but the I really loved the pink. Nevery is always designing such amazing original creations. Location: These pics were taken at the fabulous 'New York City' SIM. This relatively new build is absolutely stunning! The textures and details are unbelievable. It is definitely one of the best new builds I have seen. Now, unlike a lot of NYC inspired SIMs, it doesn't try to completely replicate it. As a native New Yorker, this always has been a pet peeve of mine, since it is impossible to replicate this city. Especially on such a small scale. This SIM encompasses the true essence of Manhattan. There are areas that remind of the village and others of the upper east side. In any case, this is a must see! Plus, there are a ton of amazing stores as well. Back To SL Reality...

Ugghhhh! I was spoiled by 5 gorgeous days in the Bahamas, but now I am back in NY and it is FREEZING!!!  I am still a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing new stuff that came out while I was away. It is really insane how fast SL changes! So, now that I am back up and blogging, I figured I would start off by blogging all of the creations that I was hoping to get to before I left. Well, at least for my next few posts. Anyway, I'll stop my rambling, so you can see this FABULOUS 'SARAHI DRESS', which was created by the super talented Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE. I can not believe it is Labor Day Weekend already! The Summer is officially over. *Cries* Although I am sad to see Summer go, I am really excited for all the awesome Fall fashion that is on it's way. I also wanted to give another showing of Truth Hawks latest hair releases. I am in LOVE with them! He seriously outdid himself with both of these styles. The textures are phenomenal and I love his intricate use of elastics and side ponytails. We have Tasmine, which is a beautiful banded side ponytail. And then we have Martina, which has a partial side-ponytail, while the rest of the hair falls loose. Truly stunning! My First Post With A Working Laptop! This is also feat. *Mimikri* and "LoQ Hairs" from Hair Fair 2011!

Wow! I couldn't believe how fast it took me to complete this post with a working laptop! No crashes, no freezes, no overheating, no extremely slow rez time and NO frustration! Yay! Anyway, I think I found the perfect combo of creations to go with this first post. I have finally been able to style and takes pics of a couple of my favorite designs from Mimikri Kit! I love her classic sexy style mixed with a tiny bit of bohemian flare. This is always a perfect mix for me. I have been long time fan of Mimikri's designs, so it really is an honor to work with her fabulous creations.
I also got a chance to post some amazing new hair styles, which you can find at 'Hair Fair 2011', from the wonderful Gia Pawpad of "LoQ Hairs". I have always loved her hair styles, but let me just tell you.... Gia really outdid herself with this release! Her texturing is on a whole other level and the designs are stunning! I am really in love with her new collection.

Exile at Hair Fair 2011!!!

Okay, things are getting really bad now with my laptop situation. Dell will still not send me a new one, but I managed to get them to come out and replace all the parts *LOL*. Well, this involved a lot of tears and screaming at the top of my lungs to some unlucky tech person in India. Dell has "notes" on me. I am now a "difficult" customer. But, when a customer service rep was in in the process of sending me the laptop I have now, which is also "replacement", I was PROMISED they were going to "MAKE SURE" that I would "NEVER EVER" have a "PROBLEM" again! Well, what do you know, I have HUGE problem and they basically are telling me "F**K YOU! It takes a lot to make me mad and to get that heated, but Dell does it to me every time. So, please forgive my crappy pics. This post has now taken me over 24 hrs to complete, which is insane. Actually, I think I am insane for trying to do it under these conditions and not giving myself a break, But I have already disappointed so many designers with this mess and I fear my reputation as a blogger is going down down the drain. Everything I worked so hard to achieve is being destroyed by my lousy laptop and need to try and not let people down. So, please accept my sincerest apologies. This situation will be resolved of the end up the upcoming week. Finally! Well, lets hope anyway. You will also not have to read these rants anymore...
On a  much happier note, Kavar Cleanslate of Exile, released 5 fabulous new styles for the much anticipated Hair Fair 2011. These styles are gorgeous and so perfect for summer. I really could not pick a favorite style. What I really love most about Kavar's creations, are his root options. With the addition of a darker root, the hair looks so much more realistic. I am really impressed. I can't say enough wonderful  things about his latest releases. So, since I really tired, after 24 hrs of sub par work, I will let the pictures do the talking.
 Btw, I also paired the hair with Lara Hurely's full make-up line of 'Odette'. 'Odette' is absolutely stunning! I can not take this perfectly rendered skin off! I still have a full review to do on this, so please stay tuned. I was hoping to have it completed already, but my laptop has been too difficult to work with. Once again, I am so sorry.

How I Wish You Were Here....

Once again, I am completing a post that should of been up last night. You have got to love SL sometimes! *LOL*. Anyway, I FINALLY had the chance to post several pieces that I have been dying to blog for a little while now. Most of these are new (or at least fairly new) releases that I am sure you have seen already on other blogs or while pursuing the feeds. Two of these pieces come from the fabulous new designer, Elly Naire. I adore her simple, but very feminine designs that have become a wardrobe MUST! I am wearing her beautifully rendered 'victorian blouse', as well as her super adorable 'cowboy hat'. Both of these creations come in ton of gorgeous colors. I also got a chance to wear my new favorite earrings from Elikem Melodie of MONS. These amazing blue 'feather earrings', also come in green and white. Feathers have become a HUGE trend, especially when they adorn jewelry. So, I would just buy all three colors. I seriously LOVE them! Ekilem, who we all know makes "to-die-for" skins (you will be seeing several upcoming reviews of these too...laptop willing), also made some awesome bangles in a TON of colors and shapes. You will see in the pics below that I basically just mixed and matched them, while attaching as many as I could to my wrists (and that my viewer would allow me). For those of you who use Phoenix Viewer or Kirstens, you can attach several objects to one point, even though they don't give you second attachment points any more. All you have to right click on the object, select wear and attach to the object to the point that you want to wear it on. Depending on the attachment, you may need to mod. This is only necessary if you wear an object on a different attachment point then what it was made for.

It's been really tough lately to get my posts out in a timely fashion. Plus, I fear the quality and look of pics are suffering too. I am trying to be patient, while I wait to receive another laptop. I hope it is soon...

Truth Hawks is never lack of inspiration. Once again, he managed to dazzle us with two more fabulous releases. There is lovely and very romantic looking flower adorned updo, called 'Eden'. The flowers have color texture change menu or you can opt not to wear the flowers at all...

New Awesome Styles From TRUTH!

I am going to try and make this post short, since I am so tired. I was literally falling asleep on my laptop, while taking pics earlier. Anyway, Truth has graced us with 3 more fabulous styles this week. He gave us super cute 'pigtails', called 'Shanna', and an uber adorable 'side-pony', aka 'Shannon'. In order to balance out all this cuteness, Truth aslo gave us a super sexah 'wind blown' look, called 'Jacqueline'. Just so you know, Jacqueline comes with 2 wear options.
