Last Day for December's Arcade and Goodbye to Firestorm Beta!

I had finally got around to downloading the new Firestorm Beta earlier this month and was so excited to use it! Unfortunately, it became impossible to use. I have a great ASUS gaming laptop with an awesome NVIDIA graphic card, so I did not think I would have any problems. These are some of the issues I had experienced: very slow performance, crashing when inventory half way loaded, video card driver crashes when taking pics, etc... I am sure my performance would be much faster if shadows and the advanced lighting mode were not in use or if I did not take such large pictures, but I am usually only on to take pics! It was making blogging virtually impossible for me. I can be rather stubborn and determined, but this was making my whole SL experience NOT fun and unproductive. So this is my last post using Firestorm Beta and I am reverting back to the old Firestorm until the bugs are worked out. I hope this is not the price I will have to pay in order to use anything "Materials Ready". FYI: This is just my personal experience using the aforementioned viewer. Please do not let my experience deter you from trying it out

The main reason I was so persistent in using Firestorm Beta for the above image, is because I wanted to show off the amazing materials ready detail on this awesome Oh Deer Igloo from FrankLee Anatra of {what next}. It is just one of the many different igloos that you can win from their Arcade gacha! Each Igloo has it's own theme, which includes: a sled, sleeping bag in igloo, tree lights and a mailbox (RARES). There are also several couples and singles animations in and outside the igloo! So make sure you try your luck!

I am also in love with these uber cute penguins from the talented Aime Takaaki of *MishMish*. These guys are also an Arcade gacha exclusive that you simply can not pass up!

The gorgeous hooded winter dress actually comes with the hair! This is a special Arcade exclusive from Kavar Cleanslate of Exile and is called, First Snow! Each gacha try allows you to win one of 15 hair color packs and also a HUD with 10 different colors for the dress! There is a special RARE HUD that has several dress colors in a sparkle texture too! I was being a bit boring for this post, since I loved this shade of cream sans sparkles. 

I nearly fell over when I saw this beautiful Suede Muff from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store! And Guess What? It is FREE! Well, if you can find it... It is one of the many amazing hunt items that you can find at Inspiration Point's Christmas Hunt. All of Inspiration Point's designers are taking part in this awesome hunt. This includes: The Secret Store, Tee*fy/LaViere, KIRIN and HOUSE of FOX. All you have to do, after TPing to the landing point, is touch the small hunt sign. After you touch the hunt sign, you should receive a folder with a hunt HUD and hunt map. Both the hunt HUD and map show where the hunt items are located. You can find hunt items hidden in a tiny green Christmas Tree. So Happy Hunting! This hunt ends on the 31st of December, so hurry over there, if you haven't already!

You also need to run over and grab this seriously pretty snowflake adorned necklace from Cae. This all mesh necklace is called, Let It Snow, and you can change the texture (silver and gold) of all it's components via HUD. I sincerely adore Caelan Hancroft's beautifully and delicately rendered jewelry. It always adds the perfect touch to any outfit.

Countdown To End of SHOETOPIA 2013!

I am sooooo sad that SHOPETOPIA 2013 is finally coming to close on the 30th. I also don't think I will be able to blog all the shoes that I wanted to before the event over. There were just too many fabulous creations and I am ridiculously slow! I will keep posting them in upcoming posts, since most of these items will be available in the designer's mainstores,after this event over.I HAVE to keep this post as quick as possible, since I am running out of time!
The uber talented Bax Coen, as well as boot guru, has been known across the Grid for her super sexy boots and glamorous shoes. Since I am a serious a boot lover, I went nuts over Bax's  Regency Boots. These gorgeous patent lather thigh high boots are to DIE FOR!

  BAX Regency Boots come in 3 sizes that include a Collision Bone Deformer, which fits the boot to your shape within certain limits. Here are the sizes:

- STANDARD (for all small and average shapes, including all that conform to one of the Standard Size
- PLUS (for bigger shapes)
- BBW (for Big Beautiful Women)

These boots also come with a ton of settings and wear options via script. Some of these settings change the look of the color of the heel, as well as the zipper.

Shyla Diggs of -Belleza-, just release a preview of her upcoming gacha skins for The Arcade Event! It is a new skin line, called 'Tara'. She is soooooo lovely! I can't get over all the hard work Shyla managed to do, in order to bring us such a beautiful face and make-ups. Not to mention a perfectly rendered body. However, The Arcade will not be opening until the 1st of December, so you will have to wait just a little longer to try your luck at this amazing skin.

OMG! Bubbles Clawtooth did it again with yet another incredible hairstyle for the November cycle of Collabor88 .This style is 'Gun Street Girl' and has long and flirty layers. This is yet another MUST have, so demo your heart out.

I apologize for the massive delay in making this post. Unfortunately, my laptop was severely overheating and I needed to address the issue ASAP. I will have to bring it in again to the repair shop for another upgrade as well. Does this crap ever end? LOL!
 Anyway, I do have more exciting news... Gisele Mubble, of Fleshtone, created this AMAZING 'Mariah' dress for Limited Bazaar. It is available in two different lengths - an uber sexy mini and a stunning full length style. I am also seriously in love with the fact that the dress is yellow! Yellow is not a color I would wear in RL. I love neutral tones for my RL wardrobe. I do add a splash color with accessories though. So, whenever I see such fabulously bright colors in SL, I can not resist them! I am not sure if the dress is still available, since it is a limited item. I sincerely hope so. Once again, I sincerely apologize for this post being late and hope you can still grab this item.
Since I was in a bit of an ostentatious 'blonde' mood (note the awesome BIG hair from Vanity Hair), I felt that the 7Sins GREED gacha skin from [PXL Creations], was the perfect match! Just recently, Hart Larsson released a beautiful new series of gacha skins, which reflect each of the Seven Deadly Sins. The skins are based on his 'KATE' skin line and comes in the NAT(ural) skin tone (just in case you want to buy his lush or lolas tango appliers to go with this skin). I have to say, the detailing in this series is incredible, especially since they are gacha skins. I find that some gacha skins do not compare in quality to their regular skin lines. The skin's make-ups for this series are also neutral enough to be worn as an every day skin too. The skins are 100L per play, so I highly suggest that you get cute pixelated butt down to [PXL Creations] and try your luck!

Some More 'FTLO Gacha' That You Must Get!

Who doesn't love gacha machines?  To me, they are across between those 25 cent candy machines and slot machines. Once you start, you just can't stop until you hit the jackpot! They should put a warning sticker stating: "Gacha's May Be Habit Forming!".You know how it goes, you see all the pretty colors/ textures of a certain item and they are priced really low. So you figure you'll try just once. If you get the color you really want; great! if you don't; you will be cool with what you have. However, that NEVER happens. At least in my case. *LOL*. I start with one, which is almost never my favorite choice, and then figure it's so cheap that I can afford to try again. But then I get same color! Next thing you know that initial $25-50L has turned into $400L. You could have bought the fatpack twice! Just for one color! Now, I could go on and on, ad nauseum...but I know you get what I am talking about. At least I hope :p

The Desi Sweater Dress from 'e!' & FTLO Gacha from '[croire]'

Whew! October has just flew by! This was definitely a crazy month for me as well. I had to go away and be with family for the first week in October. I also had basically no internet access for that week. Talk about major SL withdrawal! Then I had a wicked flu and had to have my laptop completely replaced. And, of course, there were so many awesome events and new releases, but so little time! It's definitely crunch time for me! So, I figured a mix things up a bit. I had received some amazing new pieces from Eclectic Wingtips of e!, at the beginning of this month. So I couldn't resist showing you her fabulous 'Desi Sweater and Leggings'. I GACHED WAY TOO MUCH at "The ALBERO SUMMER GACHA FESTIVAL"!

The "ALBERO Summer Gacha Festival" is now open! I have a bit of a problem with gacha machines, becuase like the slots at Vegas, I just don't know when to STOP! So, to make this trip a bit easier on my wallet, I gave myself a "gacha challenge". I could only play each gacha machine ONCE and then create some outifts out of what I got. Welllllll, as you can see, I didn't hold true to the "challege", since I kept getting odd colors or colors I don't really like or wear (i.e baby pink and powder blue). But, except for the hair from "Tiny Bird" and some handbags from *MayoNaise*, I did pretty well. Actually, I did okay, since the top pic has me looking a bit like one giant piece of cotton candy.*LOL* Regradless, these are just such a sampling of the great gacha finds I acrrued on my visit. Just so you know, except for the [Letuka] skin, Zaara bangles and poses, everything pictured here is pure GACHA luck!

This is one event definitely worth checking out and I must admit that the lag was very minor, so hurry up and check out was awesome surprises await: The limo is waiting:

ZOMBIE POPCORN CARNIVAL IS HERE IN SL!!!!

What is summer with out the the Carnival coming to town? I have many fond memories of the old busted rides, which look like they are ready to collapse, and all the cool booths with food and games.However, i was truly amazed at all the bright new shiny rides that were up and running, waiting for the hundreds of people soon to populate the fair carnival grounds. Actually it took "Zombie Popcorn" organizer, "Jenica Penucca", just one week to erect and design this whole build! For a neophyte builder, such as myself, that is just awe inspiring in itself!

Yay! The circus! I am paitentally waiting for it start!

And I am still patiently waiting for it start...............................................

Well, I guess I was bit early in all my excitement, so I decided to go and get my fortune told. And since the fortune teller must of been on break, I was left to my own devices.....

Hmmmmm...... The ball told me that a "person is watching me". The ball is probably right and also left out that the same person is also probably lhao!

The Fun House! I love the fun house and with all it's cool mirrors and mazes!

But I don't love clowns.....They scare me.....

Hmmmm.....Which door shall I choose????

Yay! I made it! I survived the "Fun House"! But there's the clown again...... Is he following me? I really do NOT like clowns.....

Just about every top designer that I can think of has joined up with this ultra cool carnival. How amazing is that? Rides, clowns and clothes! What more can a woman ask for?
