Lila and Five Latte in Ricielli!

I have been wanting to do a post with  the stunning and talented Ms. Five Latte (aka SL Fashion Queen) for some time now. I have always appreciated and adored Five's style, which is a lot like my RL style. Her ensembles consist of cool, classic and casual pieces. She is also no stranger to couture as well. Whatever Five decides to wear, she always looks perfect! I also like the fact that she is the same height as me. LOL! Some may call us short and small. But, we feel everyone is just way too big.
Anyway, since we were both blogging Culture Shock and also love Fhara Acacia's designs, we figured it would make for a fabulous post. Fhara's exclusive collection for Culture Shock suits our tastes to a "T". We love her new all mesh creations, which consist of uber chic jumpsuits and tops with plunging necklines; gorgeous shorts with a wrap around waist line; and the most amazing 'cowhide' totes that resemble one of my favorite Prada bags. All of these pieces come in a huge array colors too! You have the palest of  nudes all the way up to the most brilliant blues! There is definitely something for everyone. The only problem is picking the colors you want. I Focus On The Pain, The Only Thing That's Real...

I have been in depressed mood lately. It's mostly due to the fact that I haven't been well and the Summer is coming to end. I haven't been healthy enough to enjoy my favorite month and do the things that have become a tradition for me. I haven't even felt much like logging on 'inworld', since I feel like I have nothing positive to say and fear it reflects in my work too. I usually don't like to share too much of my personal life, but that is basically what has been going on with me.

Exile at Hair Fair 2011!!!

Okay, things are getting really bad now with my laptop situation. Dell will still not send me a new one, but I managed to get them to come out and replace all the parts *LOL*. Well, this involved a lot of tears and screaming at the top of my lungs to some unlucky tech person in India. Dell has "notes" on me. I am now a "difficult" customer. But, when a customer service rep was in in the process of sending me the laptop I have now, which is also "replacement", I was PROMISED they were going to "MAKE SURE" that I would "NEVER EVER" have a "PROBLEM" again! Well, what do you know, I have HUGE problem and they basically are telling me "F**K YOU! It takes a lot to make me mad and to get that heated, but Dell does it to me every time. So, please forgive my crappy pics. This post has now taken me over 24 hrs to complete, which is insane. Actually, I think I am insane for trying to do it under these conditions and not giving myself a break, But I have already disappointed so many designers with this mess and I fear my reputation as a blogger is going down down the drain. Everything I worked so hard to achieve is being destroyed by my lousy laptop and need to try and not let people down. So, please accept my sincerest apologies. This situation will be resolved of the end up the upcoming week. Finally! Well, lets hope anyway. You will also not have to read these rants anymore...
On a  much happier note, Kavar Cleanslate of Exile, released 5 fabulous new styles for the much anticipated Hair Fair 2011. These styles are gorgeous and so perfect for summer. I really could not pick a favorite style. What I really love most about Kavar's creations, are his root options. With the addition of a darker root, the hair looks so much more realistic. I am really impressed. I can't say enough wonderful  things about his latest releases. So, since I really tired, after 24 hrs of sub par work, I will let the pictures do the talking.
 Btw, I also paired the hair with Lara Hurely's full make-up line of 'Odette'. 'Odette' is absolutely stunning! I can not take this perfectly rendered skin off! I still have a full review to do on this, so please stay tuned. I was hoping to have it completed already, but my laptop has been too difficult to work with. Once again, I am so sorry.

Here are some more fairly new and absolutely fabulous releases from Fleshtone that I have been trying to get around to posting. Lately, more workflow has slowed down quite a bit , since RL keeps taking me away. Plus, my ongoing laptop issues do not seem to help either. I almost didn't want to post the following photos, because I was fighting with 'Kirstens' for hours and couldn't even tell if they were decent or not. Well, I guess you will all be judge that...
Anyway,  I have to say that designs from Fleshtone continuously amaze me. The quality and texturing are exquisite  Plus, the designs are very inspiring. Next we have the 'Pacific' cardigan from designer extraordinaire, Inex Hax. I have posted this design a couple times before. The first time I posted it, was as a 'PCF ' exclusive. I, and many others, fell in love with this comfy, yet 'oh-so-chic' piece. It can be worn as a simple cover-up or a fabulous jacket for an even more fabulous dress. So, due to popular demand, Inex released this in some of the 'PCF' textures and  bunch yummy solid colors. The second time, I posted it, was right after I received it. 1.1.11 - First Look of The Day and Year ( Feat. Modd. G )

Wow! 2011! We are officially head-on into a new decade. The arrival of this new year brings on A LOT of reflection of years past and what the future holds in store. I am reminded of the people in my life who I am thankful for and gifts that I once may thought of as a burden. Now, much of these realizations are personal, so I won't get it into here. So, I figured I would state quickly where I would like to see this blog going in the new year.
I have come a long way in SL. Not only is is new year for me, but I am now one year old and my blog is almost 8 months old. I came into this knowing nothing and had no idea I would even get this far. I have so many people to thank for this and I think you all know who you are. What I would like to implement into this blog, are more 'LOTD' type styling. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE featuring designer's new releases, especially those that I love and respect. However, I also would like to show more of my own style. Plus, by doing this, I get to put my 130K+ inventory to use. *LOL* So, if you have any ideas, comments or feedback, please feel free to let me know. A Very Late & Lazy Sunday

Yes, I know this post is a bit late, but you know what they say....."Better late than never!". Hmmm....Maybe....
