I was sincerely flattered when Alan Edison, the designer behind Ty Zvezda sent me some review copies. As a long time fan of Alan's designs, it was a real treat to work with his gorgeous pieces. Alan has and intuitive feel for the female form and his body conscious designs are proof of this. In the first picture, I am wearing the 'Ella' gown. This is one luxurious piece that gives my figure an amazing silhouette.The silky texture and simple lines make this one elegant number. I just adore how Alan carefully adds the perfect amount of highlights and shadow, in order to show of the folds and creases on the dress. This is definitely one of my favorite gowns!
In the second picture, I am donning the 'katfkan'. This gorgeous piece comes in rich colors and 3 different wear options. This is another aspect that I love about Alan's clothes. Once again, the texture has a silk-like feel and flows with each subtle movement. The perfect piece to add to any outfit.
In the third picture, Alan has me in his 'Oklak' vest. This has a more bohemian and folksy look to it, which I am really into at the moment. Once again, this come sin 3 different sizes, so you can find the perfect fit and/ or look. I also paired this look with Alan's 'shuffle flats' and 'bunty heels'. These shoes are simple, but made extremely well. Pus, they go with just about any casual look.
In the fourth picture, I am sporting the first skirt I have ever bought at Ty Zvezda. I love the high waisted tulip shape and super soft iridescent texture. One again, Alan uses his incredible eye for detail  to carefully adorn  this skirt with hand drawn buttons and 3 different trim options.. This skirt is a MUST for any woman's wardrobe. This 'high waisted mini' can be worn casual or dressy, like so many of Alan's designs.
I the fifth picture, I am wearing Alan's fabulous 'mini beach wrap'. This uber cute pareo also comes in two different wear option.This is the quintessential bikini cover-up As you can see in the middle of this picture, I am went in a slightly different direction. I am wearing this amazing 'Sloo' top. I just can't get enough of this cute button down blouse which is cinched by a wide belt. Simply scrumptious.
In the fifth and last picture, I had to show a close up the handbags! I am in LOVE with Alan's bags. There is the 'Ugery' bag that is constructed with soft leather an beautiful jewel tones. Then we have 'Fofo' bag, which is made up of a thicker leather and wrapped in a uber cute bow. The silver linked straps are the finishing touch on this already amazing accessory. If you are a hang-bag whore  like me, these are the ultimate pieces for any womans handbag inventory. So yummy!

I have been hearing a lot about .:Naive:. lately, but it wasn't until Leah McCullough gave us some review copies that I got a chance to really get up close and personal with her designs. Thank you Leah! And let me tell you, I was in for very a nice surprise! Leah's clothes can range from very feminine and retro to extremely edgy and progressive. Nevertheless, they are made to work with with a woman's body and accentuate one's curves very nicely. Leah has a great eye for style and doesn't follow trends, she creates them.

As you can see in the above pictures, Leah's lines are simple but are not lacking detail. You can see the carefully placed pleats and seems in her textures. These small features give her clothes a huge dose of realism. Her crafty prim work is the finishing touch on all her outfits. From delicate little bows to full flowing empire waist skirts, Leah does is all and does it well. New yumminess from Truth Hawk this week! Once again he surprised us with 4 new hairstyles, one of which is for a guy. You many have caught a glimpse of "Eric", Truth's latest male style in the previous post, when Kierra was having identity issues again. *LOL* Anyway, enough about men! *LOL* It's all about us woman right now and Truth certainly knows what we want. The feel is "boho chic" again with "Chistina" and "Christina 2". These practically identical "dos" share the same whispy and wavy tendrils and are styled with a lightly layered cut and side-swept bangs. However, "Christina" comes with a headband and flower, which have a color/texture change option in numerous shades and variations, and "Christina 2" simply has a lovely braid wrapped around the crown. Both are fabulous choices. Then there is "Julia". Don't let the soft name fool you. Julia is very sharp and bit rough around the edges. This punky ponytail has an ultra teased front and back, giving this piece a very progressive take on the traditional. Plus it is super cute! Rediscovering rbcg! Re-Opening in July 22nd, 2010!

Today. Friday July 23, 2010, rbcg will be re-opening it's doors! Kyrsten Jigsaw has been working hard setting everything up, so she can bring us her very unique and awesome creations....some old and some very new! I love Kyrsten's originality and sense of humor that she brings to light in so many of her pieces.You can find "kitschy" accessories like clown glasses and various "noms-noms"s all the way to amazing creations like her "If You're A Bird" dress. Krysten also has a large selection of items for the home as well.

In the first picture, I wearing Kysten's "If You're A Bird" dress in brown. The dress is simple, yet has an incredible hand drawn texture. She carefully adorns the dress with feathers, making this one delicate and interesting number. I kept thinking of the movie "The Birds" when I was looking at this dress (I have no idea why), so I grabbed Kysten's "Birdie" props that attach to you hand and ear. The bird the attaches to your ear flies around. The pictures I took, of course, look nothing like the movie "The Birds" ,or even remotely close to it, but I had a lot of fun playing with birds! *LOL* I also paired the dress with the rbcg "bohindian" bag. I have a big time bag fetish, so I couldn't resist this perfectly sculpted piece. Krysten had a lot of cute bags and totes in the store, so it was really hard to choose.

The "bohindian" bag was part of the "the indian collection", which comes complete with decor that includes a "tee pee", "makeshift fire" and "makeshift kayak". It also comes with the "indiankini" and "chief head-dress", which I am wearing, and ultra-cute accessories like the "dream catcher". So, I couldn't help but  go all out and show you some of the set-up and also this really cool bikini, whose fabric is comprised of Kysten's signature hand drawn textures. I think I had a little too much fun playing with my "have tee-pee will travel", but Kysten's pieces have that effect on you. I had gotten my first taste of Avy Fhang's designs at .:Shush:. when I was still a "noob" (I've been around for about 7 months now) and I have been infatuated with her fun and flirty pieces ever since. So, I was especially ecstatic when she gave me the opportunity to review some of her latest work. Avy has an amazing eye for detail, which shows through in her meticulously hand drawn textures. Her carefully placed highlights and bits of shading give her designs that extra feel of realism. In the first picture, I am wearing Avy's "At the shore bikini" in pink. This fabulous 2 piece come in array of delicious eye-popping colors that go perfect with this summer's vibrant color pallet. This piece also come with the uber cute "star sunglasses" and several layering options with is always a huge plus! If you want to cover-up, Avy also included the beautiful pareo (which comes with a version that does not have sunglasses on the hip) and an overlay top. One can't resist the delicate and perfectly rendered sheer fabric that this "cover-up" is made of. Simply divine. This is a definite favorite in my book!

In the second picture, I am sporting the "beach short pink & white". These shorts are the perfect length. Short enough to be very sexy, but leaves just enough to the imagination. I also love that these shorts are white, but do not lose detail. My one issue in SL, is that white just seems to glow and the features just disappear. Avy seems to have solved this problem by adeptly shading the shorts so the slightest wrinkle stands out. And the top! I am wearing the "Relaxing top transparent long" in pink. It's diaphanous texture is so light and sensual. It comes in 8 gorgeous colors with several layering options! You will see me pair this with her 'Fluffy Skirt and "Cargos" too.

I am donning Avy's "Fluffy Skirt" in dark blue in the third picture. I am in LOVE with this flowy skirt with a bohemian edge! Many times, skirts that are a bit "fluffy" tend to be a bit too "poofy" for my taste. However, Avy as usual knows just want a women want and gives it to us. The prim work is exceptional and flows with ever subtle movement. 

In the fourth picture, I am sporting the "Splatter Cargo Pants". Kierra just blogged the "Rock On" cargos, which are similar. I can seen why she likes them so much. The denim detailing and carefully sculpted cuffs are to die for! And paint splatters she adorned them with give them that extra something special. I also am loving the "Rock On" belt with the "kitchy" key chain with an 8 ball dangling from it! It's definitely an ideal touch.

In the fifth and last picture, I am wearing Avy's "Delicious Dress Green". This dress is truly delicious too! The ruffled and varied shades of green are simply yummy! Plus, you get a choice of two top options. Green and grey. I am wearing the grey in the third picture with the "Fluffy Skirt". This is a quintessential summer dress that can be worn casual with a pair of sandals or more dressy with a pair of chic stilettos.

I couldn't resist, so here is some more yummy goodness from aDIVA Couture. Now, unlike the previous posts, these fabulous designs can be found in the store. I am bit "blogged-out" at the moment, since I have been on blogger overdrive for the "Summer of Love Fair". So I will try to make this post short ans sweet. In the first picture, I am wearing AnneJoy Paine's "Emilia Halter Dress". Not only is this an incredibly beautiful gown with it's cool colors and "chiffon-like" texture, but it also come with an amazing charm necklace. Now usually when jewelry comes with an outfit, it's not so great. However, Annejoy puts as much work into the quality of her accessories as she does her clothes. I am definitely going to wear this piece with other outfits.

In the second picture, I am donning the "Mandy Bikini Lingerie Set". This is delightfully rendered lingerie set is covered in pinks an neutrals. And, to top it all off, it has several wear options as well. You can wear it as an ultra sexy bra and thong. It can be worn with a very sheer cami. And it can also we worn as a bikini. The bottoms can be as revealing as thong or a bit more modest paired with boyshorts. A definite summer "must"!

In the third and last picture, I am sporting aDIVA Couture's " Misses Jones". Not only is this one of my favorite summer outfits yet, but it is also a group gift to members. Annejoy is very generous when it comes to her loyal fans. This particular piece is so adorable and flity and is perfectly clinched with a gorgeous leather belt. It also comes with an even more amazing "Sculpted Straw Tote". I think you all know my now, that I LOVE handbags, so this was a wonderful surprise.

Summer of Love with 'Alexohol & aDORKable'

Lila and I decided to chill out on the beach in some of the sexy designs available from Alexohol at the Fair. Coming in a selection of rich vibrant colours these pieces are perfect for lazing on the beach or playing water fights like Lila and I are in these pics. All of Alexohol pieces are hightly detailed with good use of shading in the textures to give the clothing a more realistic feel. The bikinis I especially liked as they are sexy and well cut without showing too much and making them a bit street corner looking. After getting the sand out my shorts as Lila beat me in our water fight we slipped into something a little smarter to watch the sunset. Lila is wearing the cute Bellini shorts that come with prim cuffs bringing them to life and the Sunshine top that is just adorable. I slipped into the Caymen sunset dress that has a highly detailed bodice and lovely prim skirt. I also have to mention the poses that we used in this set and I have to say THEY ARE AWESOME. She may be small but she can use that water pistol like John Wayne on crack. Broken Doll was name that Kierra and I were not too familiar with until Marja Languish sent us some pieces to review for the "Summer of Love Fair". Thank you Marja!Wow! Were we in for a huge and wonderful surprise! Marja has very unique style that is a basically girly with an edge. She uses very delicate and eloquent textures, which appeals to my feminine side. Then she takes things to another level, like with the "On the Farm" outfit. I love the ultra frilly "farm girl" look, but Marja adds the droplets on blood as another dress option. This is definitely favored by my darker side. And we all have a dark-side that is just waiting to come out! He-he!
