Beautiful, But Late

Do to health reasons and other RL stuff, I had not been around SL much for the last 6 weeks (give or take). So, suffice it to say, I was late meeting my deadline to post these pics for the August cycle of Collabor88 . However, since I had taken these pictures and I was so in love with all of August's creations, I figured I would post them anyway. I do believe that almost all the Collabor88 exclusives will be in the designer's mainstore. So, let me post these pics and credits really quick. Btw, aida Ewing's (of  -Glam Affair- ) new "Katya" skin that I am wearing is too gorgeous for words!

Azure Electricteeth (of Tee*fy) and Marie Laurderson (Milk Motion) really went out of their way to create the most lovely 20's inspired clothes and accessories. 

Gyorgyna Larnia (of  LaGyo) also out did herself with here "Helen Necklace and Bangles" . 

All of the home decor items were amazing too. Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea and Ewan Mureaux of Conspiracy Theory, collaborated on this fabulous art deco inspired "Beresford Vanity, Clock and Wall Light". The "Beresford Collection" also includes a bed, night stand, dresser and lamp in a choice of "Razzle" or "Dazzle" color palates.

I am also in love with this "Mission Armoire" by warehousefifteendesigns Resident of Apple Fall. M4ri1yn Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~, made the brilliant "Stag Chair", which comes with a choice of 2 texture changing options - via script or via HUD. The wall mirrors, framed prints, and room are all part of the "Alders Living Room in Mahogany" from The Loft.

Sunflowers and Sunshine

I really adore Maylee Oh's, of The Secret Store, new 'Elsa Ruffle' shirts. They are so feminine, delicate and fit the female form so perfectly, as do all of Maylee's creations. This fabulous top is also a Collabor88 exclusive. There are just a couple of days left until the July cycle of Collabor88 ends, so hurry-up and go check them out!

Another favorite new release if mine are these gorgeous 'Lux' heels from Davidfre Resident of Just Design. Each part of the shoe can be colored via a texture change HUD. The HUD also has a database filled with preset skin tones from all your favorite skin designers. Within a couple of clicks, you have the perfect match to your skin! With the onset of appliers and HUDs , which automatically match skin tones, styling my outfits have become so much easier!

Maxi Gossamer has created some amazing new jewelry for the new round of FaMESHed and also for the United Fashion Project. For FaMESHed, you can find lovely 'Daisy Chain' bracelets and earrings, as well her 'Midnight Tears' necklace. For the United Fashion Project, Maxi created timeless gold and silver 'Hand Made Heart' rings. as well as necklaces too (which are not shown...yet).

BTW, this 'Minaudiere' clutch is to DIE for! It is from the uber talented Marie Lauridsen of Milk Motion. This clutch is a July Collabor88 exclusive and is available in a plethora of brilliant colors, as well as gold or silver metals.

All About ISON!

This post took me days to finish, because I just could not seem to take a good picture.There was always something wrong. Things such as: wrong angles, wrong light, wrong pose, etc... What made this whole situation particularly frustrating, is the fact that my clothes and hair were perfect! I had on ISON hair, an ISON dress and ISON shoes! You would think that by wearing such beautiful creations, my images would come with ease. So, the first picture that you will see, is heavily edited in Photoshop. However, I did not modify or alter my clothes and shoes.

For this post, I chose to wear Harry Hyx's (ISON) gorgeous Collabor88 exclusives. He created this lovely mesh 'ruffle dress' and these amazing 'leather strap sandals'. The sandals were developed to be worn with the Slink mesh feet (flat). I love the fact that so many designers are doing this with their shoes, especially since I was never a fan of my ugly avatar feet. Plus, now that there are appliers for the the Slink mesh feet, I don't have to spend hours trying to match my feet to my skin. 

When I thought about accessorizing my outfit, I did not have to go any further than Collabor88. There are so many incredible items to be found this month! I chose this brilliant mesh clutch 'Owl Clutch' from Marie Lauridsen (of Milk Motion), a delicate 'Sketchy Flower Necklace' from Natalee Oodles (of Noodles) and pretty little 'Midsummer Blossom' earrings from Polyester Partridge (of Yummy . Oh, and of course, a beautiful statement ring and bracelet from Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) 'Axila Collection'! 

The stunning skin I am wearing is also from this month's Collabor88. I absolutely LOVE aida Ewing's (Glam Affair) new 'LuLu' skin line. The lips are simply delicious! aida created a collection of 5 skins in various tones and wonderful make-ups.

Harry Hyx (ISON) not only makes fabulous clothes, but he makes fabulous hair too! He created three AMAZING new hair styles for Hair Fair 2013. The hair textures are outstanding and come in HUD driven tone packs. The HUD not only includes solid colors, but fades and ombre options too! I am in love with every style he has made and I definitely look forward to seeing more hair from him in the future.

Baiastice at FAIR

Keira Seerose has created yet another amazing event. Instead of a one time only event or once per year occurrence, FAIR is a monthly event. Each month there is new theme and it also offers a 'fair pricing policy', hence the name of the event. For this month, the theme is based on the different times day. One of my favorite designers, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is participating in this cycle. She created two exclusive items that are simply stunning. She created a a gorgeous mesh camisole top, called 'Perla Mesh top', and these beautifully made 'Diane Mesh cropped trousers'. These pieces can be worn together or mixed and matched with just about anything in your inventory. Indian Summer

It is gorgeous today in NY. Sunny and hot! This is definitely a nice change from the chilliness of typical Fall weather. I felt this AMAZING new dress, from Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE, would be the perfect piece to celebrate such lovely weather in. I must admit that this is one of my new favorite dresses. Actually, it is now one of my 'all time favs'. I just love the silk-like texture and iridescent tones, which seamlessly change from eggplant to forest green and then to a rich chocolate. Ughhh.... Well, Hurricane Irene is making her way up to NYC and my network connection is a bit shakey. I just hope I don't lose power or I will go nuts! I am never prepared for these things. I ran into Fairway to grab a couple of bagles and people were loaded up with gallons of waters, batteries, etc.. And I am just standing there with 2 lousy bagles. Well, I doubt we will lose water and electricity for a couple of weeks. And, since I don't eat that much anyway, I think the bagels and whaever else I have lying around will suffice. It's just funny to watch people go into to survival mode and overspend. I guess flood warnings could be good be for the economy...

This top comes with or with beads and in a ton of lovely colors. This is is definitely one of my favorite pieces lately.
Oh! I almost forgot! Izzie just came out with the best lipglosses! They look absolutely yummy and come in even tastier colors. Everyone has there thing... Some people can't do with out lashes or shadow. Lipgloss is a MUST for me, so I am always really excited when an awesome new lipgloss comes out and Izzie definitely hit ther spot with this. She has a 'Lazy Denim' skirt in 8 gorgeous colors, a super sultry 'Basic Halter' in 5 brilliant colors and a seriously comfy 'Hoodie' in 4 muted and 4 bright tones. The 'halters' are a gacha item. The 'hoodies' will be available at the upcoming 'Pure Juice' event, which starts on the 5th (keep your eye for the LM), for just $100L. After this event the price will go up to $250L, so I would be sure not miss 'Pure Juice'.
As always, Tyr gives you every layer imaginable, so the styling options are endless.
