Summer of Love

MONS  just released a fabulous new line of mesh of clothes for Summer - appropriately called, 'Summer Love' - and I am definitely impressed. There are a ton of cute tops, sleek strapless dress, uber short minis and gorgeous print 'neck tie' dresses. Since it was the weekend (I feel asleep while editing), I figured I would do a casual 'LOTD'. I chose one of the strapless 'Jean Tops' and paired it with new denim short release from from Izzie Button. Speaking of Izzie, she has also been on fire lately, releasing tons of beautifully made fashion staples. You simply must check out them all out. Alexandra Barcelos of Flithy Skins, created yet another amazing new skin, called 'Jenny', so I couldn't resist wearing it for this look. And, to top of my whole look, I am wearing another new release from Truth Hawks, called 'Anastasia'. Truth is another designer working hard lately, and had 2 big releases this week! Loving Leverocci!

As many of you know by now, my connection as been really screwed-up. I am also having a lot of issues in SL as well. My avatar not rezzing; logging into the void (10, 10, 10 coordinates); prims not attaching, mesh not showing; constant crashing; etc... I don't know how much of it is due to my connection and how much is due to SL issues. So, suffice it to say,  have not been able to  post anything until today. FINALLY! Please keep your fingers crossed that hings will keep improving. Anyway, I hate to whine, but I am sooo frustrated! Almost to the point where I don't want to log in at all! Thankfully, I am very stubborn and persistent.
Let's move on to a better topic ^^ LEVEROCCI! Jin Elfans's latest mesh release is AMAZING, but I wouldn't expect anything less, since her  creations are always fabulous. This release is comprised of Satin Mesh Tops,  Mesh Shorts, Mesh Field Hats and Wedges (they come in a sock version as well). All the pieces come in a mouth watering array of fresh spring colors. Leverocci's mesh is one of the best on the grid. The textures are so realistic and superbly done. As a former non-mesh enthusiast, I am truly impressed and love wearing these creations. For this post I am wearing the Satin Ruffle Top, Shorts, Cadenza Wedges. I figured I would save the gorgeous 'Field Hat' and Cadenza Wedges with socks for an upcoming post. These will all be major Spring/Summer staples for your inventory and I want to show just how versatile they are. So, what are you waiting for? TP down to Leverocci and try on some demos now!
Speaking of fabulous new releases, skin diva aida Ewing, finally released 'Leah'! 'Leah' is stunning! I think she is my 'all time' favorite -Glam Affair- skin to date! She is young, fresh and has the cutest freckles. She comes with 12 make-ups, a TON of lipstick options, and 5 skin tones. She also had 3 different brow color options (brown, blonde and red) and extra freckle tattoos. Her make-ups reflect the current color trends for this season, but aida is always awesome like that. Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE has finally gone full mesh ahead. So, I guess it is safe to say, mesh is here to stay. I am slowly warming up to whole mesh thing, but I do hope that not everything turns to mesh. In my opinion, there are just certain textures that do not work well with mesh. Anyway, Applonia knows how to texture her mesh and came out with the perfect 'SPRING TRIBAL DRESS', which comes in 2 amazing patterns. I LOVE Applonia's eye for color and her use of patterns. This is one creation you must check out, but PLEASE try a DEMO first!

Letting Go....

Now, I know Suri (aka Suriko Leimes of The Bunneh Files) had told you a little story about what happened to us, while club hopping the other night. But, she LIES!!!! She would like you to think that we were escaping a *cough cough* fire at some club. However, the truth is that Suri has BIG mouth! She pissed off a 'Cher-esque' looking drag queen (down in the meat packing district), by saying that she didn't look like Cher at all! She also told one of 'Cher's' friends that her 'Choos' were fake! So we were chased by a mob of angry drag queens for at least 20 blocks. We made a clean get away by jumping over couple of roof tops and then about 10 stories to ground, only to be saved by Suri's super platformed boots from the 'Show Your Strength' ensemble from SAKIDE (avail @ Back to Black). They really made for a good cushion. Suri may have a bad mouth, but she still saved the day and my boots.
