Catching-up with Kae! Featuring October Collabor88!

It has obviously been awhile since my last post! And let me just say,  it was a little difficult getting started again. I felt like I had forgot everything! So I figured that the best way to kick things off, was to grab one my closest SL friends, who could provide me with extra encouragement and fun! The super talented Ms. Kaelyn Alecto served not only as great model, but also a cheerleader. Cheering me on, since I was lacking a little bit in confidence. She also served as a great source inspiration! 

The October Round of Collabor88 is absolutely amazing and so much fun! The theme is called, Motel Spoppy! Think of Bate's Motel, or any other classic and creepy vintage motel, in shades of navy, muted purples, green, steel blue and beige! So Kae and I did our best to show off just a few of these incredible event exclusives!

I absolutely fell in love with Maylee Oh's, of The Secret Store, Anita Empire Dress. I love the doll like style with a delicate lace trim on the sleeves and a super cute ribbon belt! Kaelyn is wearing this extremely adorable Darling Dress from Tres Blah, which is has a similar girly style to mine. 

Kae and I also wore a couple of awesome hair styles that can be found at this round of Collabor88. I am wearing Bubbles Clawtooth's brilliant Scream Queen do. I love the knife effect! Kae is wearing this seriously cute Pussycat (mask included) style from Lamb Bellic of lamb!

Shyla Diggs of -Belleza- finally released the full line of her Grace skin! Yay!  I could not help but wear this fabulous new skin for my post. Terminal Frost!

 I apologize for this post being so late, but I've been having problems with my cable over the last week. Plus, blogspot seems to be failing me lately and not saving posts. I think it is time to switch over wordpress.

Anyway, it had been a long time since I had done a dual post with anyone. My RL has been really crazy due to health issues and family drama; not to mention the holidays. As a result, my SL time is more limited than usual and I tend log in at odd hours. So, last week, I was speaking with Ms.Kaelyn Alecto about all the amazing items the designers had created for December's Collabor88 and The Arcade. We decided to get together and feature one of our all time favorite designers, who is AKA the talented Maylee Oh of The Secret Store. Maylee, as always, created the most incredible items for both events. She made these awesome ice skates for The Arcade. Just so you know, men can wear these skates too! For Collabor88, she created these beautiful Sarah Dress Coats, which Kae and I wearing, and they matched perfectly with her skates. 

Obviously, Kae and I decided to take the pictures for this post at her super photogenic SIM, It All Starts With A Smile. By the way, if you have not been there yet, you really need to check it out ASAP. It is the perfect setting for winter photos. Kae's partner Maxx was here, so we decided to take advantage of him and use him as a prop. 

He also came in handy after Kae fell on the ice. When we finally stopped laughing at her, we had to carry her all the way home. Who knew mesh was so heavy?

Btw, the skin we are wearing is the latest release from aida Ewing of Glam Affair, which is called "Kaelyn" (Hmm... I wonder who that skin was named after?). This skin is absolutely stunning! I love all of aida's skins, but this one extra special. 

 Kaelyn (the skin, not the avi) comes in 12 gorgeous make-ups (plus one bare skin - no make-up) and 6 lovely skin tones. She has a TON of options too, which include: 8 different brow colors (embedded into the skin), 4 freckle tattoos, 4 lip tattoos and 3 nose tattoos. So please make sure you DEMO this skin ASAP!

Summer is HERE!

Memorial Day weekend officiates the beginning of Summer in the US. And, let me tell you, so did the temperatures. It was definitely hot this weekend, to say the least. I had been trying to get together with my close friend and amazing blogger, Kaelyn Alecto of SweetSexyCrazy.com, in order to do a post together. Oh Mai!

Giz Seorn is one of the most talented and gifted designers on the grid. Her creations are both flawless and stunning! Her latest release, which I know you probably have seen already, is called the 'Mai' dress. This whispy and ethereal dress is absolutely irresistible! My closest friend and blogger, Kaelyn Alecto, was a talking about blogging this dress, while I was styling it for a post. So, of course, we decided to do a post together. What better way to feature to feature such a beautiful design? Plus, we also decided to wear the recently released 'Mia' skin from the exceptional Lara Hurley. Where's The Party?

After much talk and conflicting schedules, my dear friend Kaelyn Alecto (who is also an AMAZING blogger and photographer) and I , were finally able to get together for a dual  post again. Mimikri Kit's latest release, which is also known as the 'Cosmic' dress, was the perfect creation for us to showcase. Both of us are HUGE fans of Mimikri's amazing designs and limitless talent. A Secret Between Friends...

Once again, I had the pleasure and honor of working with Kaelyn Alecto, who is a seriously talented 'sl-fashion' blogger and also someone who I am proud to call an even more amazing friend. We had long awaited Maylee Oh's (The Secret Store) new releases. Finally, the time an had come and Maylee outdid herself again. This 'mini Summer collection' is STUNNING! So, now the hard the part had settled in... Finding the time to blog these pieces together! Unfortunately, Kaelyn and I are in different time zones and have crazy RL schedules. Finally, we found the time, but with my ever dying laptop mixed with some major lag, we could only manage to capture one outfit on each on us. Our idea of being able to style and "quickly" snap some pics of this lovely collection, was soon met with the reality of our situation. So, hopefully,when I have working a laptop, we will be able to do a bigger post in the future. However, I am extremely grateful to have been able to get the pictures I have and also to see each others different artistic perspectives on Maylee's extraordinary work. Just so you know, I have been dying to find a pair of gloves like these and now Maylee created them! But, there is still much more to be seen of the timeless collection, so please stay tuned.
