Uber Awesome New Event!

Yes, there is yet another amazing event in SL, called Uber, which I am sure you have already heard about by now. This awesome new event, which is brought to you by the uber talented team of Kaelyn Alecto and Truth Hawks, features the best designers that SL has to offer. The first round's theme, which started on July 31s (each new round starts on 30th or 31st of each month and ends on the 28th), is 'Beach Party'. A fabulous theme to celebrate the end of Summer. As far as future themes go, you will see more unique and artistic subject matter. So suffice it to say, I am uber excited about Uber!

Btw, I know I am seriously behind due to fact that I was away in Italy and I just had to fix the keyboard/touchpad on my laptop. For this post, I am obviously featuring just a few of the brilliant Uber exclusives. This stunning Antara Maxi Dress, which was created by the super talented Zaara Kohime of Zaara, has to be one of my favorite items from this round of Uber. I love the silky texture and gorgeous design. I paired it with these fabulous Nereida Wedges from Euroda 3D. The wonderful thing abou these wedges, is that they come with texture change HUD, which allows you color each part of shoe! These wedges come in choice of 3 color stories, so come over to Uber and grab them!

There are also a bunch of lovely skins and obviously hair to be found at this round of Uber. Shyla Diggs of Belleza, created this gorgeous new Beth skin for the event. Beth comes in 6 brilliant make-ups in Pale and Sunkissed skin tones. Each make-up also comes with a gloss lip (on tattoo), matte lip (on tattoo) and 3 brow colors!
This fabulous windswept is hair is from Minami Susanowa of Tulip. This style is called, Bethany and is absolute MUST HAVE for your wardrobe, so please make sure go by Uber and demo it!
August Collabor88 is in full swing too! And, OMG, it is Fabulous! The theme is 'The Odyssey', so think of anything related to Greek Mythology and absolute splendor! I couldn't help but wear this beautiful new Metis Necklace and Earrings from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo! The floral details are to die for! Wow! It seems like forever since I had posted! LOL! I had been on a much needed vacation in Europe and am feeling good! June has been another amazing month for Collabor88! The theme is "Safari", so think of a lot of relaxed looks and tribal jewelry in neutral shades.
Rowne, which is made up of the former House of Fox team, created a super chic Katia dress, which is a Collabor88 exclusive this month. I paired the dress with their recent Steffen Shorts, which are recent instore release.

The stunning black Malika Statement Necklace and Malika Clutch are from the talented Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. Both pieces are June Collabor88 exclusives and come in a ton of fabulous theme inspired colors!
The gold Safari Tribe Bracelet is from Mr. Harry Hyx of ISON and is yet another awesome Collabor88 exclusive for June.

ISON for June C88

I have couple more quickie post for June's Collabor88 before it comes to end. There were so many amazing creations, as always. Harry Hyx of ISON, always creates the most incredible designs, especially for each cycle of Collabor88. June was no exception, I am absolutely in LOVE with this gorgeous relaxed Ruffle Bottom Button Up shirt!

This fabulous Button Up shirt can be worn so many ways! It can be worn by itself, while lounging around the house or pool, or with soft cotton pants for a chic casual weekend look. Regardless of how you choose to wear it, it is wardrobe MUST HAVE! So are Harry's Avery Strap Boots,which are sexy studded and ankle high. I love the soft suede texture that is perfectly complimented by large metal buckles! So make sure you run over to June's  Collabor88 before it ends! 

 I finally started catching-up a bit with stuff and was able to finally blog a few amazing new items from the fairly new brand, Plethora. Plethora brings to the grid some of he most original, quirky and brilliant items that you can find! From creations that you have been dying to see inworld to stuff you never even thought you would need (but now must have), Plethora has it! They are participating in Rhapsody right now and created these awesome CD Player Headphones, which I am wearing on my head. They weren't actually designed to be worn on my head, but the items were so easy to modify that I could make it work! I also have this beautifully rendered CD Player, which is also from Plethora, that lets you eject, play, stop, etc... by simply pushing the button. You know, just like how a real CD player would work! LOL! Sometimes I wonder if I make sense. You can also link the headphones that I am wearing on my head into the CD player that is shown on the sofa. There are also speakers you can buy, which allow the same linking and unlinking of parts. Pretty neat, huh! Just a suggestion, make sure you make a copy before modifying any items. Both items come in a ton of fabulous colors and make the perfect accessories, home decor pieces or photo props. So, please make sure you check them out at Rhapsody ASAP!

June Colllabor88 featuring U.F.O

June's theme for Collabor88, which is To The Lighthouse, has inspired so many incredible designs for this round. The color palate of faded reds, blues, grays and lavender, remind me of past summer vacations on the the beach's of Cape Cod. The designers have created everything from relaxed cotton casuals to kitschy sailor motifs. Some of my favorite items from this round were created by the super talented Charming Meiler of  ::{u.f.o}::.She went all out and made a cool casual maxi dress, as well as this AMAZING Sailor Boyish Outfit!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, created a huge Pirate and Sailor Collection for June's Collabor88 as well. So I had no problem finding the perfect Sailor Hat, which she obviously created for the sailor part of her collection. The Hat Rose is separate and can also be worn separately as a rose, like I did in previous posts. It also comes with a color change HUD that has 9 colors to choose from, making it a breeze to match with just about anything.

While I was dipping into Gyo's amazing Collabor88 collection, I found this gorgeous Shell Necklace and Earrings. In fact, there were so many wonderful accessories made for this round, that I decided to add an Anchor Necklace from (Yummy).

The fabulous one-sided braided hair is called Oceana and is yet another Collabor88 exclusive from TRUTH. I seriously love the fact that he managed to weave a scarf into the braid. The scarf's texture can also be changed via HUD. 

Please make sure you get over to Collabor88 ASAP, if you haven't already, and demo all the above items. In fact, DEMO everything that you can find there! LOL! 

Oh! I almost forgot, Snow Martiel of BenS Beauty has been releasing a ton of amazing new shoes that are made to be worn with Slinks avatar enhanced mesh feet! Her Grace Platform sandals went perfectly with this outfit! They come in a tong of beautiful colors, so make sure you grab yourself a few pairs.

Unless you have been hiding under a virtual rock, then you already know that The Arcade Gacha Event is here again and well underway! As always, all of the designers who are participating in this awesome event have managed to come up with the most brilliant creations (more like, "brilliant ways to entice us part with tons of lindens"s..lol)! The seriously talented Charming Meiler of ::{u.f.o}:: has created one of my favorite gacha collections to date for this round, which is called Swan Lake, Act 1.

I don't know about you, but when I was little I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew-up. I loved everything that had to do with ballet, from toe shoes to tutus. This is what Charming managed to re-create for me with her beautifully crafted mesh collection. It is not only made-up of beautiful tutus and ballet shoes (with a texture change HUD), but also wonderful home decor pieces and accessories. Elegant mannequins, retro princess phones and ballet shoe wall ornaments, which all come in a vast array of in pretty pastel colors. 

This is one gacha collection that you will definitely want to try your luck with!

Speaking of amazing Arcade collections, aida Ewing of Glam Affair created two new skins for this round of The Arcade. The skins are called Liv and Livvy and are both absolutely stunning! For this post, I chose to wear Liv. Both skins come in 10 gorgeous make-ups and three lovely skin tones (Arctic, Asia and India). There is even a RARE version in bare, so make sure you play to win all!

Mr. Truth Hawks is also participating in this round of The Arcade (as if you didn't already know). He created this fabulous hair style, called Sakura. Sakura comes in two styles - one side bun or a bun on each side. You can also win flowers and gummy bears in different colors  that can be worn in  this uber cute do.

May Collabor88 Round-up!

May's Collabor88 is sadly coming to an end on June 7th at 12am SLT, so make sure you hurry-up and grab all those fabulous exclusives before it is over! Here are a few more of my May Collabor88 favorites! I sincerely wish I had time to post everything available, but I am short on time :(

I am absolutely in love with this 50's retro inspired Ooh La La dress from u.f.o's Charming Meiler  . It is a May Collabor88 exclusive that comes in ton of yummy prints and color combinations!

I grabbed some fabulous accessories from May's Collabor88 add to my ensemble, which include this pretty mesh Flower Headband from Glam Affair and this delicious Lemon Fruit Necklace from (Yummy).

This lovely hair style, called Lady Julliette, is another Collabor88 must have from Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth. 

This gorgeous skin is the latest from Shyla Diggs of Belleza. Her name is Suki and she is an Arcade gacha exclusive. So make sure you try your luck and win all of the lovely make-ups available! 

This brilliant outfit is also a May Collabor88 exclusive and was created by the talented Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. The Mini Top and Fiore Skirt are sold as separates, so you can mix and match them with anything you like. Once again, I used accessories that are May Collabor88 exclusives. These awesome bold Bombshell Beads are from (Yummy) and the sexy Monroe Florida 50's Sunglasses are from Maxi Gossamer.

The stunning skin, is another May Collabor88 gem from Glam Affair, which I previously posted. Her name is Coral and comes in 8 stunning make-ups in 3 gorgeous skin tones! The beautiful retro Grable Hair is from ~Tableau Vivant~ and is another Collabor88 exclusive too!

ISON and May's Collabor88!

There are sill a few more days left of May's Collabor88, so please make sure you stop by and check-out all the amazing 50's vintage/rockabilly styles! One of my favorite ensembles from this round, is also from one of my all time favorite designers - Harry Hyx of ISON! He created this fabulous Crop Panel Tee and High Waist Pleat Skirt. Both of these flirty streamlined pieces, can be worn separately or together (like I did below), and come in nice array of prints and colors.

I could not resist wearing these super sexy Sophia Heels, which are also a May Collabor88 exclusive this month. They were created by the talented Betty Doyle of Ingenue. Like most of her recent shoe releases, there are made to be worn with Slink's mesh feet!

Since I was going with a vintage nautical themed look, I had to pair this outfit with Gyorgyna Larnia's, of LaGyo, Mary Necklace (with swallows and anchors), Mary Earrings (anchors) and Mary Bow Bandanna! Gyo's whole Mary Collection is to die for, so make sure you run and grab the whole collection before May's Collabor88 ends!

Gala Phoenix of CURIO has been releasing a ton of skin lately! For May's Collabor88, she released two sunning new skins lines. For this post, I am wearing her new Cherry skin. It comes in a ton of gorgeous skin tones and 4 yummy make-ups! It fits perfectly with May's retro theme!

Speaking of amazing retro creations, moca Loup of tram, made this brilliant hairstyle for May's Collabor88 too! In fact, she created 4 lovely styles that you must demo ASAP!

Stepford Wife

I am absolutely in love with Maylee Oh's, of The Secret Store, 50's vintage inspired Betty Swing Dress. This stunning creation with it's perfectly rendered textures, is also a May Collabor88 exclusive this month. This dress, which comes in a beautiful array of patterns (floral, polka dots and stripes) and colors, can be worn and styled in so many different ways (especially since it comes with texture change HUD for the belt). So I decided to go with a more classic look that made me feel so elegant, beautiful and well...perfect...kind of like a 'Stepford' version of myself. LOL.

Anyway, Maylee has once again won me over with yet another gorgeous creation! You absolutely MUST demo this dress ASAP at Collabor88!
May's Collabor88 also has a ton of amazing accessories to go with all the fabulous clothes. I seriously adored this Frankie Purse from Natalee Oodles of Noodles. This beautiful purse goes so well with this dress too!
I also couldn't resist these fabulous Glossed Pumps from Hervé Faenzo. Like the purse and the dress, they are rendered to perfection and are a May Collabor88 exclusive!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo created the most stunning jewelry for this month's Collabor88. I know it is a bit hard to see in these pics, but I am wearing her Mary Necklace (with swallows and flowers) and Mary Flower Earrings. The necklace and earrings are available in 3 different metals (gold, silver and bronze) and the flowers come with a texture-change HUD. This makes matching a cinch! So please do your self a favor and check-out Gyo's whole Mary Collection at Collabor88.
Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth, didn't hold back either this month. He created this lovely retro-esque hair style, called A Little Lamb. It also comes with this texture change bow, which totally completes my look! This another MUST demo item.
