October Madness

There have been so many events and releases this month, which makes it almost impossible to keep up! We have the Cosmetics Fair and Kustom9, just to name a few. Plus a ton of new hair releases.
Nina Helix of .Birdy Skins. released a gorgeous version of her Rose skin line for the Cosmetics Fair.

I paired the skin with one Truth Hawks awesome new releases, called Katya. I absolutely adore the texture change hat that she comes with.
For Kustom9, aida Ewing of Glam Affair released a special edition of her latest Neva skin. It is available in 5 gorgeous make-ups in the Europa skin tone.

For the first 3 Neva make-ups, I decided to wear one of Tabata Jewell ,of Vanity Hair, fabulous recent hair releases, called Say my Name. I am in love with these long wild curls. This is definitely one hair that you absolutely must demo!
I also chose this wonderful statement necklace from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, called Rebekah. It is a TDR Fusion exclusive and is available in gold, silver and black.

For the last 2 Neva make-up  for Kustom9, I chose to wear this brilliant new hair from M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~. This sultry hair is called, Vlodovic, and is another wardrobe must.

I chose these wonderful new ASIAC Mesh Necklace, which are adorned with raw semi-precious gems, from Dieguinhooo Resident of [AMNESIA]. This all mesh jewelry line is fairly new and absolutely stunning! Do yourself a favor and go check-out the mainstore!.

HAIR!

Ok, as promised, I decided to do one HUGE hair post! As most of you know,the last 2 months have been seriously crazy for me. I had been quite ill, my laptop was overheating and dying, and I am also still in recovery mode. There have been so many wonderful new hair releases in SL, as well as improvements in textures and colors. One of the biggest new trends now that I love, is creating HUDs to color hair. Not only does it save tons of space in your inventory, but it allows the designer to create more color options. Kavar Cleanslate of  :Exile:: has been using a HUD system for over few months now. Truth hawks and Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair , just started releasing hair that is colored via HUD and I love it. Ok, enough talk about HUDs and let me show you some hair. I also have some beautiful new skins to show to you as well.

I guess I will started with the latest releases from Kavar Cleanslate :;Exile:: (FYI: I love all of these hair designers equally, so there is no specific importance to the order):

I am in LOVE with Exile's new long flowing hair styles! They are just too sexy words! I wore them with Belleza's latest skin line, called 'Leila'! This is definitely my favorite Belleza skin since Ava .These lovely make-ups are all Boutique exclusives. There are a choice of 4 make-ups (I am showing 3 out of 4), which are available in all the current Belleza-skin tones. FYI: the full release of  the Leila skin line will be available in the new -Belleza- mainstore. So stayed tuned for pics.

The next group of brilliant new hair releases that I have to show you are from TRUTH HAIR. I love the delicate feminine feel to all 3 of these hair styles, which go perfectly with all my new Fall clothes. Now that Truth's hair is colored via HUD, you will never have trouble finding the perfect shade of (insert hair color here).

I am wearing one of the latest new skin's from -Glam Affair-, called 'Lucy'. OMG! I LOVE LUCY! The skin is luminous, the make-ups are stunning and the lips aret perfect!

Tabata's Jewell's (of Vanity Hair) new releases are absolutely fabulous! She basically revamped her whole hair line. She is now using mainly rigged mesh and an awesome HUD to color her hair. Why is the HUD so great? Well, besides being able to use it color your hair with her existing colors/textures, you can also use it to tint your hair any way you want! It basically gives you an endless selection of color! Now, as far as Tabata's newest styles go, they are all amazing and all very different. From beautiful braided boho styled tresses to vampy fashionsita waves, she has something for everyone!

The skin I am wearing is one of the many new releases from Izzie Button, called 'Kaelyn'. Hmm.., I wonder how she came up with that name? LOL! This skin is really one of Izzie's best skins to date. The features and details of this skin are just gorgeous!

Indian Summer

The last couple of days have been super hot! I figured I may as well enjoy it, since much cooler weather is just around the corner. I decided put together an outfit, which reflects these warm and humid days.
However, before I start talking about my ensemble, I have more skin to show you. Shyla Diggs of -Belleza-, created more make-ups of her gorgeous new skin "Leila" for this round Collabor88. "Leila" is my new favorite -Belleza- skin. You can see that Shyla put a lot of work into this skin. The features are beautifully rendered and the skin tones are yummy.

"Leila" comes in 4 different Autumn inspired make-ups and is available in all the-Belleza- skin tones. And, since it is a Collabor88 exclusive, you can grab this skin for a very nice price! So, do yourself a favor and demo it now!

I am sure you notice the fabulous hair I am wearing. It is called "Serendipty" and it is one of the latest releases from Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair. I love the fact that all of Tabata's latest new hair styles are made of rigged mesh and come in 3 different sizes (small, medium and large). She also created new hair textures with a lot more color options! The hair color is changed via HUD, which has a tinting options too! Basically, the color options are endless. The HUDs come in a ton of color packs - Dark Browns, Light Browns, Dark Blondes, Light Blondes, A Glam Pack, etc... The shades in the "Glam Pack" are completely new and are made up various color fades, which I adore. I am really impressed with all the hard work Tabata has done in order to update her hair. They are so lovely and I am looking forward to all of her new releases.You must drop by Vanity Hair and check-out all the new hair styles!

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice created this gorgeous "Yse Maxi Skirt" and "Mjrie Top". Both of these pieces are FaMESHed exclusives this month! They come in ton of brilliant colors and can be mixed and matched in many different ways.

The crystal adorned jewelry that I am wearing, is from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. They are all part of her "Valma Collection" for this month's Collabor88. I really admire the organic and earthy feel of this collection. All the items are texture change too! This is one collection you do not want to to miss!

Vanity Hair at Hair Fair 2013

Vanity Hair is a name that has become synonymous with "high fashion and glamorous" hair. Tabata Jewell,  who is the brilliant designer behind the name "Vanity Hair", always strives to create unique and fashion forward style styles. What I love most abut her hair releases, is that they are always fabulous and unpredictable. You just never know what she will create next! It could be a stunning updo or it could be an edgy flirty style. However, for this year's Hair Fair, which will be be ending tomorrow, she went all glam! All 3 styles that she created are absolutely STUNNING and a must have for any fashionista's wardrobe.  Well, why don't you take a look for yourself at the below picture?

I really can not pic a favorite style. I love the full and slightly tussled look of "Fantastic Girl". I adore the large curl adorned updo with a sleek middle part in the front, which makes up "Sonata". And "Boys will be Boys's" super chic low pony, which also has a middle part, is just too hard to resist. I guess this is pretty much a 'Look of The Day' type post. It is mix of amazing new releases and some fabulous not-so-new releases. The main inspiration for this post, is this gorgeous 'Formal Blazer' from the uber talented Jin Elfan of Belgravia/Leverocci. It is a fairly recent release and also an updated version of her former 'Sleek Blazer', which is sadly no longer available for sale. As always, Jin's textures are perfectly rendered and portray a huge amount of realism. The 'Formal Blazer' is an inventory MUST have! Speaking of Belgravia MUST haves, I am also wearing Jin's sublime 'Patent 120' pumps, which I have already written about in previous posts. Not only are these shoes beautiful, but they are made to be worn with Siddean Munro's (of Slink) rigged mesh feet in 'medium' height. It goes without saying that these are two more items that your SL wardrobe can NOT be with out!

One of my favorite things about classic blazers, is that they can be worn in so many ways. They can be worn with more classic and formal attire, or you can play them down with jeans and shorts. I obviously chose the latter. I have a tendency to show more formal looks, so I wanted wear something more casual. I decided to pair the blazer with these charming belted denim 'Scallop Shorts' from Toast Bard of (fashionably dead). I had been meaning to blog these amazing shorts for so time now. Toast is another one of SL's texturing geniuses, who makes the most stunningly hip clothes. The shorts were a Collabor88 exclusive a couple of months ago, but I am almost positive they are available her in mainstore by now. Please do yourself a favor and check-out all of her delightful creations.

I needed a top to complete my ensemble. As most of you know, I have a rather large inventory...to say the least! Sooo, I dove in frantically and tried on as many different styles as I could think of. I finally decided I wanted a bustier-like top. I had found this fantastic 'Dash Cropped Chain Bustier' from the talented Dakota Buck of Whippet & Buck. I had no idea I had even had these amazing bustiers in my inventory. Suffice it say, I could not resist putting them! Dakota Buck and Twiggy Whippet are two extremely brilliant creators and have played a huge part in SL fashion. I had not heard much news from them, as far as new releases go. So, I had to check to see if they were still selling their content. I am almost positive they are and sincerely hope they release some new items too!

It is time again for another round of the 'Whore Couture Fair'. For this month, Shyla Diggs of -Belleza-, created a lovely and exclusive edition of 'Mya' for this event. She is available in all skin tones and just so pretty to look at. Please make sure you grab a demo!

I also chose to wear this alluring hair style from Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair, called 'Vendetta'. I simply adore the coy and sexy side-part that partially covers one eye. It added just the right amount of innocent sensuality to my look.

Oh! I almost forgot the namesake of my whole post! A Day In The Garden

Wow! I've sooooo much stuff to talk about and I don't know where to start first! I guess I will start with this super cute and chic mesh 'flared skirt and floral top'. What makes this set even more special, is because it is a collaboration between two amazing designers, NyuNyu Kimono and Crystalny Resident. It is an event exclusive for Bees Through The Seasons, so you really do not want to miss out on this gorgeous set!
Now, I have been looking for the perfect excuse to wear this fabulous hair and hat style, called "Sabine", which was created by the uber talented Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair  This style has such a elegant and retro feel, so I really wanted to wear the perfect outfit with it. The hat is texture-change, which definitely helps. Well, my outfit may not be that vintage, but 'Sabine' definitely added some extra glamour and class to my look. I really don't think that I mention enough just how amazing Tabata's hair styles are. Her beautifully crafted hairs cater to so many different styles. From looks that are couture, rebellious, retro or just plain glamorous, Vanity Hair is one place you absolutely must take the time to check out!
Speaking of vintage and retro and style, Winter Thorn of {what next}, designed this incredible 'Garden Cafe Caravan' for The Garden event! I cant think of anything it does not do! Not only does it have this amazing 50's look to it that is all mesh, but it has a tons of animations, cook wear, tasty bits to nibble on and refreshing drinks too. The caravan is also texture-change! If you are looking for anything to cheer-up your home or just a cute gossip nook, this is the perfect center piece.
Izzie Button just recently came out with a gorgeous new skin called Holly. The skin is beautifully rendered with the cutest lips. And, as always, Izzie always gives you tons of options! Eye tattoos, lip tattoos  freckles and cleavage enhancers. Now, you can even purchase an applier HUD for your Slink mesh hands and feet from Izzie. Just So You Know...

I wanted to a apologize to all the designer I blog for and for to my readers(if I have any..lol) for my lack of posts. I have been fairly ill the last couple of months and if that is not bad enough, my laptop has been overheating as soon as I start SL. I cleaned the dust out of my laptop again, so I hope this helps. I am also working my way back to being healthy. So, in the meantime, ai am doing my best to post as much as I humanly can.
