La Isla

As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star". I am soooo in love with this new style, it is a definite MUST have. I topped of the look with some choice jewels from..:: BenS Beauty ::.. and  LaGyo. I hope you like... Here are your limos:

Before I go...

Well, before I pass-out into utter oblivion, since I am so effing burnt. I figured I should better get this post up!  I haven't been sleeping well lately, so I am seriously burnt out and really can not think too clearly at the moment. So this blurb will need to be brief, because I am just not making sense. We have some fabulous new releases! Gia Pawpad, of "LoQ Hair", created a gorgeous new long hair 'do' (aka 'Martini'), which is topped off with an uber chic 'faux' fur hat (It could be real fur, but I am pretending it is faux fur. So I can feel better about wearing it. Plus, I don't want peeps throwing virtual red paint on it, while protesting the of wearing virtual fur that may have been made out of furries or nekos :( ). You get what you need...

Wow! I am so in awe of all the fabulous creations that SL's best and brightest are putting out. It's almost overwhelming! *LOL* I am on sensory overload. So many rich wool, tweed and fur textures. Subtle neutrals mixed with bright colors. Fabulous snake and ostrich skin accessories! What is a blogger to do? Well, blog, duh! But, sometimes I wonder if there are enough hours in the day to cover all of what I would like. So, I am trying my best to showcase a bit of everything. This is basically a LOTD type look. I am wearing a fabulous new sweater from CHANTKARE and beautiful tweed trousers from IZZIE'S. And, of course, I had to finish of the look with LaGyo's amazing new Fall accessories. Now, as far as the skin goes, I know 'Gori' is not the latest release from *JeSyLiLO*, but I LOVE it! I have been bad about my skin reviews, since I have been sick and did not have much time to blog, so I have a lot of make-up work to do. But 'Gori' is simply scrumptious and you must try on a demo. A NOT SO HAPPY 4th!

As we all know so well by now, my laptop has quickly been going down hill over the last couple of weeks. I am sure you can just tell as the quality of my pics lessen that it is getting worse. I must have been on crack or something late last night and early thing morning, becuase I created and am now posting the worst pics that have come out of me in a very long time. I apologize to all the creators for my bad choice in styling. I just wanted to try and make-up for some long promised posts. There is such a thing as trying too hard and I did just that. It took me over 12 hrs to complete this. And, until my laptop is fixed, I probably will not be posting anything else. Luckily, it will be fixed in few days. Thank the LAWD! But, I decided to go ahead anyway, and post what took me so long to do on a barely functioning laptop. I just wanted people to know that I am not ignoring what they send me and I will make-up the rest up to everyone, when I am fully functioning again. I did not expect this to happen to my laptop this soon. I am so touched by everyone who has understood my situation and has given me so much support. Okay, this is only an SL Fashion Blog, but it is a part of me and a major reflection of who I am. I am also a complete perfectionist, who is driving all her friends nuts right now. *Laughs*... So, with that said, please try and laugh with me and not at me, when you see what I came with up. All the pieces on their  own are fabulously stunning. I just made a bad mix. Lack of sleep, RL stress, being sick and my laptop drama all took part in this.... However, I do hope you like it.....  Oh, and "Happy 4th" to all who celebrate!

New Shapes from 'Cigars & Teacups'

Budding shape designer, Layla St. James, just opened a brand new store with her debut shapes. This store is aslo known as 'Cigars & Teacups'. I haven't done a shape review in a very long time, but it was definitely fun to try a new avi on for size. This was especially interesting, since this came along right after Strawberry Singh encouraged her readers to post their personal shape digits on Flickr. Anyway, Layla's shapes are for people who want a more realisitic shape. Her shapes vary from thin to curvy and has something for just about every ethnicity. Not to mention thather shapes are uber cute!
I decided to try two shapes. Oni and Anya. Oni is definitely cute with Caucasian features. She is quite curvy and is definitely sexy. Plus, her shape goes beautifully with LAQ skin.....

The latest from ~*INDIE ROSE*~

Angelina Eizenberg has created yet another gorgeous collection! I always adore Angelina's romantic and feminine pieces that throughly display all the thought and care she puts into them. I know this post is a bit late again, but better late than never. Besides, these are designs that are always worth a second a glance. With this release, Angelina created a line a carefully sculpted blouses, called the 'Satin Belt Blouse', in brilliant pastel shades (e.g. beige, pink, lavender, blue and yellow). Angelina also designed some lovely 'Floral Skirts', which match the aforementioned tops beautifully. I love the whispy and silky textures of these 'Floral Skirts'. In contrast to light 'floral skirts', Angelina also came out with a line of full knee-length 'denim skirts'. This is definitely a refreshing alternative to all the denim minis out there. Once again, Angelina does not lose her eye for detail and renders another wonderful piece. The denim skirts; which come in dark and light washes of blue, grey and brown; also go will with the 'Satin Belt Top'. However, as you can see, I chose to show some different wear options. One thing that I have always appreciated about Angelina's clothes, is the fact that she always gives you every layer imaginable. The ways you can style her pieces are practically endless!

Her 'Stap Chunky Heels' have a bit a retro feel to them with the scalloped detailing around the back and the chunky heel. They are nicely textured in coordinating floral an denim fabrics. They are perfect! Plus, they come with a super easy to use HUD. Matching my skin tone took no more than a minute!

'JoJo' is one of LiLO Glom's latest skin series. It's actually one of her best date. The face is stunning with full lips with a bit of teeth showing. The eyes are almond shaped with a small hint of pink shadow. Perfect! What I also love about 'JoJo', is that LiLO gives us more options than ever . Not only does she a have a frex option and hairline option, but she comes with tattoo layers in a blond version.
The body is beautifully rendered with a lovely neckline and stomach. The skin is luminous and well defined. Plus, once again, LilO gives some more wear options. One of my favorite and most recent lines of skin, would be the 'ToTa' skin line from amazing skin designer, LiLO Glom. LiLO has been a huge up and comer in the world of SL skin creators. I have reviewed and worn many of her gorgeous skins, but 'ToTa' is definitely her best work thus far. 'To Ta' comes in 3 skin shades and 5 make-ups. With each make-up, you have the choice of just wearing a glossed lip or a version with added eye-make-up. Plus, you also get teeth tattoo layer for even more options.  We all know that LiLO is the queen of wear options. Besides what I already mentioned, you have a hairline option, a cleavage option and matte or shiny body option. Each skin set comes with every combination of what I previously mentioned. You have got to LOVE that!
Now, let;s talk details. LilO Glom is on point with details. She gives you a perfect shade and smattering of freckles over the face.
