Last Day For January Collabor88 Featuring Maitreya

I always like to save some of the best event items for last. My favorite creation for this round of Collabor88 has to be Maitreya's Vintage Lace Gown...

This gown is absolutely STUNNING! Onyx always puts so much effort into rendering life-like textures and creating top notch meshes. This Gown can be worn is many different ways too. It can be worn as a simple strapless gown sans lace overlay. Onyx also created a matching Vintage Collar and Vintage Pearl Necklace, which completes this ensemble perfectly. You can not help but feel like a total diva, when wearing this phenomenal gown. So if you have not bought or demoed this yet, make sure run and do it NOW!

Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth, created this super sultry and sexy hair that goes perfectly with Onyx's Gown. This tousled side-swept hair is called, Pink Flamingos. This style should look familiar, since I posted Bubble's Female Trouble hair, in a previous post here. The only difference is that Pink Flamingos does not have Female Trouble whispy bangs. I love both styles equally, so demo them before January's Collabor88 comes to a close!

Always Save Some Of The Best For Last!

If you read my blog often, then you know I tend to wait towards the end of an event to post some of my favorite items. I would love to post such items as soon as I get them, but the feeds are usually so saturated with the same designs at that time. So this is why I like to wait until the things slow down a bit. Plus, these are often creations that you may have forgotten about, especially if you were not able to get into the event right away.
I was soooooo excited to find out that Onyx LeShelle of Maitreya is now a permanent Collabor88 designer! Her debut creations for December were absolutely phenomenal, but I would expect no less from this iconic and gifted designer.

Onyx created this fabulous Oversized Coat in several lovely soft and muted tones. I can never have enough over-sized coats, especially ones like this that work well for layering. I paired Onyx's Panel Leggings with this coat, since they went together perfectly! I also adore the geometrical feel that the panels give to the overall look. Please make sure you run over to Collabor88 to try on these demos, since today is the last day for the December cycle!

Speaking of gorgeous December Collabor88 exclusives, Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth, created this AMAZING headband adorned hair style, called Snuggle Party! The name of this hair says it all. The over-sized knit headband (I know it is not really a headband, but my brain is a bit dead at the moment) keeps your head warm and cozy, while still looking fabulous. Plus, I love the wispy and slightly messy tendrils. Bubbles has been on a roll lately, especially when it comes to creating such gorgeous and unique hair styles. This is another MUST demo at Collabor88 before it ends. 

aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, created a new line of skin for this round of Collabor88. It is called, Mokatana (Hmm... I wonder where she got this name from?) and she is seriously lovely! It is available in the America skin tone and comes in several beautiful make-ups with 7 different brow colors embedded into the skin! Need I say DEMO it ASAP?

I've got a brand new pair of roller skates....

Hmm! Where to start?! I hurt my eye! Owww! I have not been able to see much the whole weekend and I am in quite a bit of pain. But, there were so many important things to blog that I tried to tough out one post.
First of all, the March round of The Arcade has officially started! One of my most favorite items to be found there are Maylee Oh's, of  The Secret Store, 'Vintage Roller Skates'. They are beautifully made and too cute for words! I think I need a pair in each color. If I am having shoe crisis, I can always look good in roller skates. Problem solved! Truth Hawks is also participating in the current round of Arcade and made this gorgeous 'Video Games' hair. It is a lovely wavy style that comes with a beautiful (and optional) floral headband. I tinted mine to fit my outfit.
Speaking of awesome events, I am wearing this fabulous Collabor88 exclusive from Azure Electricteeth of -Tee*fy and -LaViere-. It is the 'Polly Tucked Blouse' and 'Stella Highwaisted Short Skirt'. I always love Azure's amazing mesh creations. They are not only beautiful, but flirty in a very innocent way.
And, last but definitely not least... It is the first of the month and it is time for Belleza's Best Buys. For this round, Tricky Boucher introduced a lovely new skin, called 'Amy'. Amy comes in 3 gorgeous make-ups and each can be bought for the super reasonable price of just 400L. Each skin comes with several brow options, cleavage options and extra lip tattoos. So, I am trying like mad to catch-up. LOL. I mean, what is new? As usual, for this cycle of FaMESHed there are soooooo many amazing creations to be found. I am wearing this uber cute striped dress from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. I love the chic simple lines that are decorated with horizontal stripes. NyuNyu's mesh and textures are always so lovely.

HANDverk also released these super sleek Shell Chairs. I think they definitely go with this mod theme that I am trying to achieve. I really adore HANDverk's originality and not to mention their extraordinary talent for creating mesh designs. Oh! I almost forgot to add that Izzie Button has just released another gorgeous new skin, called "Harlow" (hmmm...I wonder who that is named after?). As usual, Izzie's skin is flawless and beautiful. You get so many tattoo options with each base skin tone, which include: make-up layers, cleavage layers, freckle options and gloves for her prim nails. Fell into a sea of grass and disappeared among the shady blades...

I apologize to everyone for my lack of posts. Unfortunately  I have had some serious RL family matters to attend to. I hope things will improve soon and then I can get back up to my normal lazy schedule. LOL. I really do not want to go into detail about what is going on, so I won't. I just hope things work-out out well over the few days. I will be under a lot of stress util then.
Anyway, in more uplifting news, I have a lot of gorgeous creations to show you! I am so excited that cocoro Lemon has been creating again. Her mesh is seriously amazing! Of course, since she has always been on of SL's best designers, I would expect no less. For this post, I wearing *COCO*'s latest 'CroppedSweater&Shirt'. This for me is the perfect layered top. I just adore the button-down blouse with a cropped sweater layered over it, is a definite wardrobe staple. I love to layer, but mesh makes it very difficult. I love mesh, but I also miss being able to layer with ease. So this top is nice alternative.
Aranel Ah, of*BOOM*, created an awesome line of over-sized mesh 'Norfolk Tweeds' pants. I love their relaxed, but still very classic feel.
I sure most have you seen me wear the limited edition 'Sophia' skin line from [PXL Creations], which was created for the 'Around The World' event. I know many people have been wondering if and when a full line will be released. Well, just so you know, a full line is in the works! It will made up of seven skintones (like FAITH and KATE) with many make-up options and released VERY soon! I am really excited about this, especially since 'Sophia' is my favorite [PXL] skin to date. The skin is hand painted with an extraordinary amount of detail. So, I could not help but show a sneak preview of one of the new make-ups. It is the sunkissed tone with peach-glossed lips. Hart really did a perfect job! However, until the full line is released, the limited edition 'Sophia' is available for purchase in the [PXL] mainstore.

I am always really excited when Mimikri Kit, of Mimikri Hot Couture, releases a new creation. Her designs are always unique and completely original. Mimi not only creates her own amazing textures, but she makes her own high quality mesh as well. Unfortunately  such talents are becoming much more rare in SL. There are very few designers who do this. At least 80 percent of SL's fashion content are made from templates. Now, there is nothing wrong with templates. However, there is something really to be said about designers whose content is completely their own.
'TONI' is Mimi's latest ensemble and consists of a gorgeous highly detailed mini-skirt; a stunning striped sweater; and an adorable chunky vest. Each item is made up of rigged mesh and are sold separately. This is a really nice option, since you can mix and match different color combinations. In fact, Mimi does this with all of her releases. I highly encourage you to take a look at her most recent collections and try on some demos. If you want something beautifully made and all original, Mimikri always has something to offer. In a Beatiful World

The weather may always be delightful in SL, even when it appears to full of snow and freezing, but I can not say the same for NY. It snowed once again last night and it has been quite chilly. The night before, my furnace decided to break and I cannot begin to tell you just how COLD my home was! Thankfully, they were able to fix it yesterday. To be honest, I really have no place to complain about this happening. Many of my neighbors in Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey, did not have any heat or power for weeks! This obviously occurred when Superstorm Sandy decided to wreak havoc all over the Eastern Seaboard. Knowing what all these people had to deal with, I feel like a spoiled brat if I whine about this. It still sucked, non-the-less.
I had wanted to create this post yesterday, but my hands were too cold type or edit. LOL. FYI: It is very difficult to edit via touch pad in gloves. I decided to create a not-so-new post. This last year had been very crazy for me and I had not been able to blog many of the creations I planned on posting. Shadey Days...

This is basically a 'Look of The Day', which features a few event exclusives and also some gorgeous new releases. The last cycle of FAIR, is sadly ending. There are so many fabulous creations to be found be there, so I would would hurry over there before they are gone. One of these items is this beautiful mesh 'Break Skirt' from Poulet Koenkamp of :: Purple Moon Creations ::. There is also this  very well made 'Marcie Mini leather' shoulder bag, which also somes with a texture change HUD, from Zenith .
On a brighter note, TDR and TDR Blue have finally joined to together as ONE! This joint project is now called, TDR Fusion. I decided to accentuate my skirt with this perfect cross adorned belt from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This is just one example of the awesome creations that can be found at TDR Fusion for just 70L and under.
There are sooo many amazing new releases as well. In my last post, I spoke about the super beautiful new skin, 'Amberly', from -Glam Affair-. So, of course, I couldn't help but show you a another lovely make-up. Truth Hawks has also released three uber cute new hair styles. For this post, I chose this epic up-do, called 'Chynna'. This has to be one of my favorite up-dos to date! Oh, I almost forgot! AvaGardner Kungler, of Kunglers Extra, just released a new jewelry line that is all interchangeable. It is called 'Solaris'. I am so tired, so I will keep this post brief. Well, I will attempt to. Giz Seorn just recently released this fabulous short mesh 'Padded Coat'. I just adore the way it flares out. It such a perfect jacket for any casual Fall look. I also chose to wear this adorable mesh 'Allure' plaid skirt from Eclectic Wingtips of Eclectic Apparel. Their mesh is made so well with serious attention to details. Speaking of mesh, I am wearing this beautiful new hairstyle, called 'The Only Exception', from Kavar Cleanslate of ::Exile::. If you LOVE Leverocci then you will definitely LOVE their new luxury brand, Belgravia. Leverocci's gorgeous all mesh and high quality designs are seriously amazing. However, if you are looking for something a little less casual and bit more upscale (it is hard to get more upscale than Leverocci) then Belgravia is just what you need. They just released a new collection for Fall and Winter, which consists of sumptuous furs, classic trench coats, super high leather boots and uber sexy corsets. And, to make this new label even more irresistible, their is a new skin line coming out as well!
For this post, I decided to show-off their latest 'Kensington Trench Coat' and 'Electra Boots'. Not only are both these creations absolutely stunning, but are definite MUST HAVES that every SL fashionista should treat themselves to! Vintage Fair 2012 Is Winding Down...

Sadly, Vintage Fair 2012 is coming to close to soon. The 29th is the very last day :( So, I will be trying to show as much stuff as possible, before it ends. One of the great things about Vintage Fair, is that is showcases new and upcoming designers, as well as known and established creators. One designer, who is make a name for herself, is Blueberryxx. Her mesh is very well made and her creations are a mix of laid back, casual and sexy pieces. She is definitely one to watch! So, for this post, I decided to wear her exclusive 'Pina' dress. This super adorable strapless dress, is adorned with polka dots and can be worn in so many ways. I wanted to do something different and give it an 80s feel. So, I paired it with my favorite mesh shorts from Toki-Doki and added some tights. I am not really sure if this represents 80s style per se, but I tried. LOL. I do hope you like it.
I also decided to wear another fabulous Vintage Fair exclusive from Izzie Button. It is special 80s edition of her 'Eliza' skin. In comes on 3 make-ups that definitely represents the bright and vivid colors of that era.
