May Collabor88 Perfect Pin-ups

May Collabor88 is here and well underway! Once again, the Collabor88 creators managed to wow me with their amazing themed creations. Just when I think they can not top the previous rounds, they prove me wrong! LOL! The theme for May is called, Milkshakes and Turntables, which is definitely one of my favorite themes to date! What exactly is Milkshakes and Turntables? It's a perfect mix of late 50's to early 60's tailored styles and kitsch with a rockabilly edge. The color palette includes shades of pink, aqua, mint, red and black.

Azure Electricteeth of Tee*fy created the following look, which sums up Collabor88's May theme perfectly! I am totally in love with her Unbuttoned Knotted Shirt, as well as these High-Waisted Skinny Jeans. As always, Azure's creations are textured and rendered to perfection, making this ensemble even more irresistible! By the way, the Unbuttoned Knotted Shirt comes with a HUD, so you can change the color/pattern of the inside top. You can also chose to wear the shirt without the inside top.
These seriously sexy Moxi Heels from Darling Monday of fri.day are to DIE FOR! I love the glamorous pin-up girl feel of these peep-toe heels, which were made to be worn with Slink's AvEnhance Feet (High). You will definitely want to grab these shoes in every color available!

The super talented Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, created the perfect accessories to go with all your Collabor88 exclusives. She made these fabulous Mary Bow Bandanas that come in a ton of iconic patterns and prints. Gyo also designed these gorgeous Mary Swallow Earrings, which add a bit of rockabilly kitsch. Speaking of awesome Collabor88 accessories, Polyester Partridge of (Yummy), created this delicious Cherry Necklace, as well as a whole line of other fruity necklaces and colorful baubles.

aida Ewing of Glam Affair, created another STUNNING new skin for Collabor88, called Coral! She is available in 8 beautiful make-ups and in a choice of 3 skin tones (Arctic, Asia and America). Each make-up comes in 8 different brow colors (embedded into the skin), as well as no brow option too! A Day In The Garden

Wow! I've sooooo much stuff to talk about and I don't know where to start first! I guess I will start with this super cute and chic mesh 'flared skirt and floral top'. What makes this set even more special, is because it is a collaboration between two amazing designers, NyuNyu Kimono and Crystalny Resident. It is an event exclusive for Bees Through The Seasons, so you really do not want to miss out on this gorgeous set!
Now, I have been looking for the perfect excuse to wear this fabulous hair and hat style, called "Sabine", which was created by the uber talented Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair  This style has such a elegant and retro feel, so I really wanted to wear the perfect outfit with it. The hat is texture-change, which definitely helps. Well, my outfit may not be that vintage, but 'Sabine' definitely added some extra glamour and class to my look. I really don't think that I mention enough just how amazing Tabata's hair styles are. Her beautifully crafted hairs cater to so many different styles. From looks that are couture, rebellious, retro or just plain glamorous, Vanity Hair is one place you absolutely must take the time to check out!
Speaking of vintage and retro and style, Winter Thorn of {what next}, designed this incredible 'Garden Cafe Caravan' for The Garden event! I cant think of anything it does not do! Not only does it have this amazing 50's look to it that is all mesh, but it has a tons of animations, cook wear, tasty bits to nibble on and refreshing drinks too. The caravan is also texture-change! If you are looking for anything to cheer-up your home or just a cute gossip nook, this is the perfect center piece.
Izzie Button just recently came out with a gorgeous new skin called Holly. The skin is beautifully rendered with the cutest lips. And, as always, Izzie always gives you tons of options! Eye tattoos, lip tattoos  freckles and cleavage enhancers. Now, you can even purchase an applier HUD for your Slink mesh hands and feet from Izzie. She even sells additional mani and pedis for it too! The Slink avatar enhancement upgrade for their mesh hands and feet, has got to be one of favorite inventions of the year! The Garden, which is another awesome event from The Liaison Collaborative, is officially here! And if you are a 'Home Decor' addict like myself, or just simply want to update your home, this is one event you do NOT want miss! One of my favorite sets that you can find at The Garden, is this amazing mesh 'Alice Garden Set' from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. Her charming shabby chic style is always beautifully rendered. The set is made up of an unbelievably well detailed hammock, which comes with a TON of poses and props via script. There is also a beautiful pergola, which is adorned with string lights (unfortunately, you can not see it in these pics :/) To add some added lounge-y comfort, there are texture change pillows that you can copy and place to your liking. And, if that is not enough, there are also a bunch of garden games included. There is a croquet set, lawn darts and even horse shoes! So, please do yourself a favor and check out this set at The Garden. Plus, you will see many other fabulous creations there as well.
For such a relaxing day, I chose this yummy crocheted 'Flirtini Dress' from Kallisto Destiny of DRIFT. I have been dying to post this fabulous dress for some time now. It the perfect wardrobe staple to bring you right into summer. The texture of this rigged mesh dress is so well done. Because of this dress's crocheted texture, there are some areas where skin pokes through. So, in order to give this dress a very realistic look, Kalli created it to go with several skin tones! The dress also comes with a texture change HUD, so you have many color options to choose from as well. If you love chic, casual and sexy clothes, DRIFT has it all! There are so many events going on right now, so it can be hard to keep track of all them. Oh! I almost forgot! M4ril1n Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~, just released a line of STUNNING new eyes! They are called 'Galaxy Eyes' and come in several enchanting colors. They also come with 2 wear options - system layer and a mesh attachments. Of course they look outstanding with the mesh attachments mixed with  their necessary system layer. However, if you wish to forgo the mesh, and wear just the system layer, they look just as great! Lots a great new stuff to talk about! First, Winter Thorn of {what next}, just released this charming 'Poet's Bench'. It is the perfect piece of outdoor furniture for your Spring home. It has seven different texture options and tons of poses!

I also had been meaning to blog these awesome 'Cross Shorts', from Marry Lemur of Overhigh. I simply adore these shorts and they go well with any casual look.
The gorgeous skin I am wearing is from the new FULL RELEASE of Belleza's Mya skin. I know most of you got a sneak peek of it at the Skin Fair. But let me tell you, the full line is simply stunning. Tee*fy for Collabor88 and {what next} for Pose Fair 2013!

I am in so love with March's theme and color palette for Collabor88  I simply adore the soft pastels and romantic styles. I can't think of a better way to start the Spring season off! Sadly, there are only of few days left for this cycle of Collabor88, so you better hurry-up and get up over there! You will definitely NOT be disappointed.
For this post, my look is made-up mostly of March Collabor88 exclusives. I chose Azure Electricteeth's, of Tee*fy and LaViere, lovely mesh 'Elyse Wrapped Tucked Tank' and 'Estelle Fluffy Skirt'. They come in a ton of gorgeous colors that can mixed and matched and perfectly! I also chose this elegant 'Bow Scarf', created by Polyester Partridge of (Yummy)  to accessories this ensemble. And, of course, I could not resist adding these adorable 'Saddle Shoes' from Julliette Westerburg of Tres Blah. Like all of the other creations mentioned, they come in a ton of yummy colors and even with a seriously cute sock option too. All items mentioned are mesh as well.
Speaking of fabulous new releases, Winter Thorn and FrankLee Anatra of {what next} created one of my most favorite pose props for Pose Fair 2013 - The 'Bramley Bicycle'. They created two different bicycle pose props and each come in a male and female version. This bicycle comes equipped with a ton of  fabulous poses for both singles and couples. And, if that is not enough, the bike also has a texture change script to match any outfit or scene! In my opinion,{what next} brings some of the most incredible home decor and pose props to grid. So, you absolutely must check-out their 'Pose Fair' exclusives ASAP!
Although it is not a 'Pose Fair' exclusive, I had meaning to show this whimsical 'Adventure Playground Swingset', which is from {what next} as well. It is available for sale in several different texture options and has a multitude of charming single and couple animations. I have been sick the past week, so I will try to make this post as short as possible. I have this gorgeous 'Bibbe' dress, which was created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice  It is an Arcade exclusive, so this definitely one item that is well worth trying you gacha luck out on. Sissy also just released these fabulous 'Athena' pumps. What makes them especially cool,  is the fact that they come with and without a sock option. Collabor88 Home Deco - Last Day for Jan Cycle

I had been in a lot of pain the last week. So I have been on heavy painkillers in order to help alleviate it. Fortunately, they work VERY well. Unfortunately, I keep passing-out on my keyboard. LOL. It has been very hard to take and edit pics, since I can't keep my eyes open. People tell me to take a break, but I am stubborn. I had to show some of the wonderful builds and furniture that are available at Collabor88. You better hurry though, because I am really late with this post (what's new?) and it will close at 12am SLT today. If you do not make the deadline, most of the builds and decor you see will soon be in the main stores for purchase.
I can't begin to tell you how amazed I am at how far SL has come with it's builds. Mesh really has transformed the quality and life-like appearance of the textures and details. Both Trompe Loeil and Barnesworth Anubis, create some of the best homes on the grid. Most of the decor you will see in the following images, are provided by two of my favorite interior (homes too) creators, Cheeky Pea and Scarlet Creative. The furniture and decorations are beautifully rendered, realistic and not to mention gorgeous! I would go into much more detail, but I don't have much time. Plus, I may fall asleep again. LOL.
