The Jaida Dress from [Plastik]

Aikea Rieko has really outdone herself again with the 'Jaida Dress'. This piece is simply stunning. Plus, everything is hand drawn and scanned by Aikea herself. This dress is truly a work of art. I just love the sensual lines and the  floral appliques on the bust and bottom of the skirt. I wish I could wear this this in RL, but gravity wouldn't allow that fabulous top to stay put. As always, Aikea's prim work is exceptional and seamless. Plus, the dress comes in 10 luscious colors that are all extracted from elements in nature. [Plastik] - HALLOWIN' 2010!

I know this post is bit late, but there is still plenty of time to pick up some of the amazing skins and outfits that I am about to show you from [Plastik]. Aikea Rieko really went out of her way this year to make 'Halloween 2010' something extremely special at [Plastik]. She made exclusive 'Hallowin 2010' versions of just about all her designs. And, of course, she had to create some fantastically realistic and beautiful skins to go with them. These skins are unreal! Well, they are actually very real, which makes the great and eery. In the tones of 'Porcelain' and a 'Otherworldly', Aikea created two versions, 'Bone' and  'Muscle' with 3 different make-ups - 'Bare', 'Evel' and 'Frek'

Aikea also created a much darker tone, which is my personal favorite, called 'Widow'. The make-ups, which come in 'Bare', 'Cult', 'Evel', 'Freck', 'Shadow' and 'Tribe', are absolutely gorgeous.

Some More 'FTLO Gacha' That You Must Get!

Who doesn't love gacha machines?  To me, they are across between those 25 cent candy machines and slot machines. Once you start, you just can't stop until you hit the jackpot! They should put a warning sticker stating: "Gacha's May Be Habit Forming!".You know how it goes, you see all the pretty colors/ textures of a certain item and they are priced really low. So you figure you'll try just once. If you get the color you really want; great! if you don't; you will be cool with what you have. However, that NEVER happens. At least in my case. *LOL*. I start with one, which is almost never my favorite choice, and then figure it's so cheap that I can afford to try again. But then I get same color! Next thing you know that initial $25-50L has turned into $400L. You could have bought the fatpack twice! Just for one color! Now, I could go on and on, ad nauseum...but I know you get what I am talking about. At least I hope :p

Road Trip SALE at [Plastik]

Aikea Rieko is going on cross-country road trip across the USA and is leaving any day now. So, in an novel effort to fund the enormous gas prices, she is holding a 'Road Trip Sale'. Aikea Rieko has managed to come up with yet another incredible design that is also known as the 'Octane dress'. This sexy little number comes with two wear options, 'complex' and 'simple', which are both equally lovely. Both versions are pretty much the same, except the 'complex' has more hand drawn detailing around neckline and midsection. Aikea also manages to wrap the same type of detailing around the thigh as garter which I adore. The 'simple' version I would think to be more versatile, since the 'complex' is a bit more dramatic. 'Octane' also comes in 8 incredible textures that are basically candy to one's to eye.It's so hard to choose just one favorite pattern, so I would recommend jut buying them all. *LOL*. Once again, Aikea's talents shine through with her adept shadowing and highlighting throughout the dress. She always adds the extra bit of realism that I love so much. I have been hearing a lot about .:Naive:. lately, but it wasn't until Leah McCullough gave us some review copies that I got a chance to really get up close and personal with her designs. Thank you Leah! And let me tell you, I was in for very a nice surprise! Leah's clothes can range from very feminine and retro to extremely edgy and progressive. Nevertheless, they are made to work with with a woman's body and accentuate one's curves very nicely. Leah has a great eye for style and doesn't follow trends, she creates them.

As you can see in the above pictures, Leah's lines are simple but are not lacking detail. You can see the carefully placed pleats and seems in her textures. These small features give her clothes a huge dose of realism. Her crafty prim work is the finishing touch on all her outfits. From delicate little bows to full flowing empire waist skirts, Leah does is all and does it well. New yumminess from Truth Hawk this week! Once again he surprised us with 4 new hairstyles, one of which is for a guy. You many have caught a glimpse of "Eric", Truth's latest male style in the previous post, when Kierra was having identity issues again. *LOL* Anyway, enough about men! *LOL* It's all about us woman right now and Truth certainly knows what we want. The feel is "boho chic" again with "Chistina" and "Christina 2". These practically identical "dos" share the same whispy and wavy tendrils and are styled with a lightly layered cut and side-swept bangs. However, "Christina" comes with a headband and flower, which have a color/texture change option in numerous shades and variations, and "Christina 2" simply has a lovely braid wrapped around the crown. Both are fabulous choices. Then there is "Julia". Don't let the soft name fool you. Julia is very sharp and bit rough around the edges. This punky ponytail has an ultra teased front and back, giving this piece a very progressive take on the traditional. Plus it is super cute!
