CHIC's 1 year Anniversary!!! Plus, a couple other milestones....

Wow! There are quite few anniversaries this time of year. First, as of the last week in May, my blog turned 1 year old and so did my career as an 'SL Fashion' blogger. Boy, I came a long way! LOL! What made this anniversary even sweeter, was being invited to be a part of the uber exclusive SL fashion feed, 'Style Academy'. I was literally in a state of shock after being given this amazing news. I mean, just about every blogger, who I look up to, is part of this amazing feed!
The other exciting annivesary, would be that if CHIC Management. Keira Seerose, who is the head of CHIC, has worked tirelessly to bring us some of the most incredible and well organized events in SL. She definitely has made the SL fashion industry a much more exciting place. Keira is known for bringing us the best of the newest and more established designers to her events. It's always an honor for me to be part them. It is also an honor to be a contributor to her well known blog, 'Chic Style Guide', as well. Keira has definitely played an important part in my career as a blogger and helped me in so many ways.. So, I thank her from the bottom of my heart.
So, enough reminiscing and lets get on with the fashion. CH1C is opening at 4pm SLT on Saturday, so I can't give out the LM until then. However, I can give you a quick preview of what is there. The Latest from Peqe

Inex Hax has been very busy lately. Not only has she been creating fabulous clothes, but now she even designs hair! I swear that she sent out a plurk saying she was" thinking about creating hair" and then two days later it was already packaged and out! In the following photos I am wearing one of her two latest styles, which is also known as 'Ines'. It comes in an essentials pack of 4 shades (ginger, hot chocolate, pitch and wet sand) and choice of resize option. I just adore the sexy and tousled look of 'Ines', which is quickly becoming one of my favorite styles.
Inex also expanded on her debut dress at 'The Cellar'. She did an exclusive piece called 'Bold_70s' for ths event that I simply loved it. Thankfully, she decided to remake this in more colors for Peqe. These uber short dresses are made up of bold colors and prints that are just stunning. These are color combinations that most would be afraid to use together, but Inex pulls it off in style, creating a very unique and cutting edge look. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next. I have been on a Kozmetika binge! I had wanted to post the *BOOM* cosmetics along with the Grixdale make-ups, but it just didn't work out like I had hoped. So, here is a look a the amazing shadows, liners, and mascaras that you will find at the *BOOM* 'counter' at Kozmetika. I have to say that Aranel Ah did an awesome job creating these eye make-ups. The result is called, 'The Pure Heat Collection' and it is too cute for words. For just $110L, you get an beautiful and cozy 'henley' shirt, created by Aurora, and an uber adorable 'Pure Heart' necklace, created by Xandra Bressig. The top and necklace come in green or purple, which is adefinitely a nice change of pace for V-Day. It's a great alternative to the upcoming sea of  pink and red  creations.
