Back From Break

In case anyone has been wondering, I had to take a tiny break from SL and blogging. It was only about a week, but I needed to attend to RL priorities and my health. If you follow my blog, then you know I had not been well and never really took off the time that I needed. I am sure I could have taken off another week, but there are too many things I am committed to. One of these amazing commitments, which is really one of SL's most fabulous events (and commitment is bad word to describe it), is Avenue's Fall/Winter Fashion Week. Avenue's Fashion Week is a month long affair that is kicked off by a week's worth of fashion shows. These fashion shows feature SL's most talented designers. So I am honored to be a part of it. All of the creations that were seen on runways, can be bought at the Avenue Fashion Week Retail Center until the 29th of October.

One of the most stunning designs is this *DAMA* gown, which was created by Nevery Lorakeet of *Les Petite Details*.

I love the dreamy look of this bow-tied full skirt that breaks away, showing off the perfect amount of leg. Like all of Nevery's designs, it is sexy and elegant. This is not always an easy mix to pull off, but she always does it in style. 

PXL Creations just released a brand new group gift for their VIP Group Members! Even though this skin is gift for Halloween, it is anything but frightening (see above image). It is actually an exclusive version of the JADE skin in the PALE skin tone. As you can see, the make-up is absolutely gorgeous. Ahh! Everything has been so crazy me this last month and half. I am sooooo behind! I am freaking!!! I know... Take DEEP BREATHS! For this post, I have a lot of gorgeous new releases. A stunning new skin from Shyla Diggs (of Belleza), called "Leila". You can tell she put a lot of hard work into this gorgeous creation, which is also an Arcade gacha exclusive! There are a total of 15 skins (3 RARES), which come in different make-ups and different tones, that you can win. Trust me, you will want all of them. Be sure to stay tuned for more posts featuring this fabulous skin.

This lovely 'Eri' dress that I am wearing is from Nevery Lorakeet of  *LpD*. I love he wispy flirty feel to this dress. It makes me feel that Summer is not yet over. 

I know you can't really see the details of my accessories. I may have to go back and fix this. Well, in the meantime, I am wearing these amazing new "IBIZA" wedges from Claire Messenger of N-core  Each part are of  the shoe can be customized via HUD. You have a different texture options for the wedge, sole, bow, logo, side, etc... Plus, they are also seriously cute!N-core  has released several new styles that I have you show you, so stay tuned!

The is wonderful "Embroidery Clutch" is from Larcoco Mathy of C'est la vie. I absolutely love the ornate details on this clutch. It is a L’accessoires  exclusive this month, so make sure you run and grab it before it is gone! It comes in 4 yummy exclusive colors and in limited quantities. 

Gyorgyna Larnia (of LaGyo) created a brilliant 'Baroque'collection for this round of The Arcade! In the above pictures, I am wearing her "Baroque Collier & Earrings" in gold. However, you will have to try your luck in order to grab this particular set. There are many different pieces you can win - Necklaces, earrings, clutches and even brows! I've been in a blonde mood lately. I love this recent release Truth Hawks, called "Lyma". I have to say that Truth's blonde's textures are perfect! I always have a hard time finding the right shade of blonde, as well as one that looks natural. All of Truth's blonde tones are perfect! So are his other tones too! 

OMG! I am in LOVE with this new "Port Isaac Pier Set" by Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea! It feels so beautiful and serene. I love clean lines and light white washed colors. This set is a FaMESHed exclusive and you can choose from a PG or an ADULT set.

Bad Reputation

The last few days my cable connection has been on and off. I wanted to show another close-up of the new 'Cleo' skin from -Glam Affair- , but time was not on my side. I will probably create one tomorrow and add to my Flickr and this post.
The look for the post was so easy to create. Nevery Lorakeet of*LpD*, created this amazing *Marina* set. It is a full ensemble that includes shorts, a jacket and a top! Usually I like to mix and match different designers, but I really fell love with adorable casual outfit. As always, Nevery's creations are all original and beautifully made. I highly suggest trying them on ASAP!

I mentioned earlier that I wearing the new 'Cleo' skin from the talented aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- . This skin is so fresh and gorgeous. Plus, it comes with every option you can imagine! You get so many different looks for your money, not to mention a lovely face and body! Try on a DEMO NOW!

AVENUE Fashion Week featuring *LpD*

It is time for the Spring/Summer AVENUE Fashion Week 2013, which will be filled with tons of amazing fashion shows that feature some of SL's most talented designers. Since I couldn't be at the shows in the RL, this is definitely second best! My first preview and post for AVENUE Fashion Week, is a fabulous '*Queen* Dress White Dress' from Nevery Lorakeet of  *LpD* If you long full gowns, this is definitely perfect creation for you. It is further accentuated with an amazing mesh corset. Wow! I am on a ROLL! Two posts in two days! I am going to try for three, but I will not promise anything. It always seems when things are finally going smoothly, a huge bump in the road in the road appears and throws me way off course. For this post, I wore a color I never thought I would ever wear - PINK! Except for lingerie and sleepwear, I never wear pink. Not even  in SL. However, the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet (of *LpD*) just released this gorgeous mesh *LIV* coat. It comes in many wonderful color combinations, including black (my favorite color...errr shade), but the I really loved the pink. Nevery is always designing such amazing original creations. Snow Princess

The very talented, Nevery Lorakeet of *Les Petite Details*, created this AMAZING gown for her Kv Fashion Agency Mall location. This '*Snow* Dress Exclusive' can only be found at the aforementioned location, so it is not available in any of her other stores. I think it is DEFINITELY worth the trip. I love the wintry feel to this gown. The bodice is a simple tank-like top, which is nicely contrasted by a full diaphanous skirt. It is really hard not to feel like a princess wearing this gown. I was actually going to wear a tiara, but I fell in LOVE with this new 'Baboushka' fur hat from Maxi Gossamer. I love the whimsical feel it adds to my ensemble. This hat is also a Collabor88  exclusive this month. Speaking of Collabor88 exclusives, I chose this lovely skin from Izzie Button. It is a special 'Frostbite' edition of her Geanna skin line and it is absolutely breathtaking. I also really love this new 'Loire' hair from M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~ . M4ri1yn is quickly making his mark as one of SL's newest hair designers. He has only released a few new styles to date, but they are all amazing and I can't wait to see what he comes out with next!  Chandra Masala (of Bilo) is quickly becoming very well known for her original and very beautiful mesh creations. I love the exotic flair that many of her creations possess, as well as the gorgeous details. For this post, I decided to wear the 'Hiba' dress. This is such a great dress for Autumn and reflects this Season's color palette. This dress has high waist and intricate embroidery work on the top. Such lovely features, make this a definite favorite of mine and a wardrobe must HAVE. If you have not been to Bilo, then you surely must get your butt over there now! Atena!

Nevery Lorakeet always creates such beautiful designs and her latest piece is no exception. This stunning creation is also known as the 'Atena' dress. It is all mesh too! I am amazed at how Nevery can create mesh with such a diaphanous texture and so much flow. Usually, this type of look can only be accomplished by using some type of 'flexi prim'. I am truly in awe. This gorgeous gown comes in three pretty colors with a choiceof five different sizes. A definite must have!
Speaking of gorgeous new creations, Izzie Button just released a beautiful new skin called, 'Elena'. I think this is definitely one of Izzie's best skins to date. Albeit, all of Izzie's skins are fabulous and keep getting better and better with each new release. She is definitely making her mark as one of SL's top skin designers. 'Elena' comes in a ton of skin tones! So just about anyone can find the skin color of their liking. Each tone comes with one base skin. The base skin comes with four brow colors and also a cleavage option. Then she gives you a ton of make-up tattoos for eyes and lips. Izzie also gives a blush and two freckles layers. The hardest part about all of this, is choosing which combo of tattoos to use! Izzie always works hard to please her customers and she does just that. There is nothing more I could ask fpr. I highly suggest you try on a demo of 'Elena' ASAP!
Last, but certainly not least...  Truth Hawks just released two more amazing hair styles. For this post, I chose a stunning up-do called, 'Soleil'. This hair is styled to perfection and is also not mesh. It just goes to show that hair does not have to always be mesh to look absolutely lovely. In fact, one of the things I love most about Truth's hair, is that he knows which styles work best with mesh and which ones look better with regular prims. Sometimes, he even uses a combination of both! So, please go check-out Truth's latest releases and try on some demos.

Exile at Hair Fair 2012

Hair Fair 2012 will be coming to close in couple of days. So, I figured I would showcase the Fair's highlights before it ends. There were so many wonderful creations at this event, especially since it is all about hair, that I know you forgot to pick-up at least few creations you were contemplating. One of the best hair designers to be found at Hair Fair 2012, is  hair guru, Kavar Cleanslate of Exile. He created 4 stunning styles for women and a super sexy cut for guys. Until I create a male avi, I will just be showing the female hair. LOL! All of Kavar's hairs are mesh and come with an optional hair accessory. I am so in love with everything single style and I hope these pics will do them justice.
I also wanted to let you know that aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, just released a fabulous new skin line, called 'Cassiopea'. aida has been working to hard to create a new body for her skins and she did just that. The body is pure perfection and I have not seen a better body on any skin to date! Stay tuned for pics. For now, you will see a sampling of some of 'Cassiopea's' make-ups and her beautiful face. She comes in 5 lovely skin tones and is definite must have!
Oh! Maylee Oh, of The Secret Store, has been back and creating again! I am so excited about this, since I am huge fan of her work. I wanted to share with you her latest mesh 'Babydoll' dress release. La Nuit

I have been wanting to post this fabulous mesh dress called 'Le Nuit', which was created by the uber talented Nevery Lorakeet, for some time now. However, I am behind once again and sooooo late on all my posts. You may notice that my blog's style will be changing a bit until I am caught-up. Anyway, 'La Nuit' was also Nevery's first mesh creation and I think she made a stunning debut with it. I love the black and white stripes that are so elegantly contrasted by a wispy chiffon-like collar. A definite WIN! So, since I have another post to write, I will leave it at this! It All Fades to Gray

I have a bunch of fabulous new releases to show you. One of them was supposed to be over a week ago, since it was a 'limited couture' exclusive, but it never published on my blog (I stupidly put in the wrong date).  I am so sorry if it is gone and I can't believe I made such a terrible error. Anyway, I have a bunch of new creations from the fabulous aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- and ~Tableau Vivant~. The first is  a 'Wear Gray For Day' event exclusive and the other is the first in series of 'themed props' and skins.
The 'Wear Gray' exclusive, is a stunning desaturated (i.e. gray) skin tone that comes with a bunch of brilliantly colored eye tattoos. Plus, the proceeds go to great cause to help raise funds towards various Brain Cancer Research foundations. The next beautiful skin is part of the previously stated 'theme' collaboration by -Glam Affair- and ~Tableau Vivant~, called 'Demoness of Lava'. This was for 'Limited Couture', so it may be gone. I am so sorry if it is. The captivating black skin with a flaming mesh pant layer, blends seamlessly with the lava filled set. This is truly a brilliant idea and creation. Perfect for artists and photographers. I was lucky to have my good friend and uber talented artist, LouLou Teichmann, do this photo with me. My Acoustc Guitar

This is yet another post, which should of been blogged days ago. This 'rock top' that I wearing, is from the amazing and talented Nevery Lorakeet, and was a Project Themeory exclusive. I did post the photos on flickr on time, but not here. However, you an still find this adorable little top in Nevery's store, *LpD*, which comes in 3 beautiful colors. Even though it is still not a Project Themeory exclusive, the prices are still extremely reasonable.
I am also wearing this amazing 'vanila accoustic' guitar from Charming Meiler of ::{u.f.o}::. I simply adore Charming's beautifully rendered and thoughtful creations.
