I am always really excited when Mimikri Kit, of Mimikri Hot Couture, releases a new creation. Her designs are always unique and completely original. Mimi not only creates her own amazing textures, but she makes her own high quality mesh as well. Unfortunately  such talents are becoming much more rare in SL. There are very few designers who do this. At least 80 percent of SL's fashion content are made from templates. Now, there is nothing wrong with templates. However, there is something really to be said about designers whose content is completely their own.
'TONI' is Mimi's latest ensemble and consists of a gorgeous highly detailed mini-skirt; a stunning striped sweater; and an adorable chunky vest. Each item is made up of rigged mesh and are sold separately. This is a really nice option, since you can mix and match different color combinations. In fact, Mimi does this with all of her releases. I highly encourage you to take a look at her most recent collections and try on some demos. If you want something beautifully made and all original, Mimikri always has something to offer. Melancholy Baby

I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on my current situation, which is making me very sad. First of all, I have been having so many issues with SL lately that it has been almost impossible to blog or log. I have wrote about this before and received some helpful advice, but unfortunately it did not work. As most of you know, I have been having issues with logging in, mesh not rezzing, layers not rezzing, inventory not loading and constant crashing. This is so frustrating and depresing. Blogging is my creative outlet in this crazy world. Not to mention, I am letting all the people I blog for down. But, what can I do? I do not know what is causing these problems. I am doing my best to find out what exactly it may be. Is it my laptop, connection, viewer or just SL? Maybe it is bit of everything.
Secondly, I just had surgery. It was nothing major, but I did develop a small post-op infection that I have had to take time off to fight. So, please bear with me while I take the time to let my body heal and to find out what is making my SL sick.
I finally got around to posting a creation that was released a couple of months ago. It is an outfit from the fabulous Mimikri Kit, called 'Renee'. This all mesh ensemble is perfect for early fall. It is made up of classic chinos, a crop knit tank and suede shrug. There is also a gorgeous hip sash to add an extra bit flare to this extraordinary oufit. Romy and Kate

I have two fabulous new releases to share with you.  First off, Mimirki Kit created another new mesh ensemble, called 'Romy'.  It is s gorgeous pencil skirt with a lace texture and super sexy cardigan with a matching bra top. A fabulous ensemble for Spring. As usual Mimikri gives the customer a ton of stunning muted color options, but this time, she has added a couple of bright colors to mix as well. Anyway, I think Mimikri really went all out with this creation and is a define WIN.
Hart Larsson of PXL, FINALLY released  anther new skin called 'Kate' and I am in LOVE! This was definitely one skin release that was worth waiting for! 'Kate' is perfectly rendered and luminous. The body is to die for as well. Hart really put a lot of thought into 'Kate' when it came to the make-ups. Instead of giving you several different make-ups, he gives you a base skin with ton of lip and eye tattoo options that  reflect this seasons's color palate.The looks you can create are limitless. I'm Trying To Catch-up...

I just wanted to apologize yet again for how behind I am. I am recovering from being pretty ill, plus I have had a lot of crazy RL stuff going on over the last few weeks. So, suffice to say, I had to put my blogging on the back burner and take care of things...not to mention myself. I will be working as hard as I can to catch-up. However, I also need to take care of my health, so I may not be able to crank out 2 posts a day. I may not be able to post everyday, but I will do my best. I am soooooo thankful to all the designers who have stood behind me. It really means a lot to me and I am so grateful for your understanding. I am also not angry at those who dropped me. I am sad, but I understand that every designer has different needs. I love you all regardless.
Anyway, in more exciting news, the fabulous Mimikri Kit went mesh! And let me just say, you would never know this was her first attempt. Her beautiful new 'Jada' suede pants and tanks are simply stunning! Mimi really is on par with her textures, which for me  is a huge issue with mesh. If a designer's texturing is poor, chances are their mesh creations look like bad polyester pants. Thankfully, Mimi's eye for detail helped her turn out these new mesh separates in style!
And, speaking of new mesh masters, I am wearing Truth Hawks other latest release (aka 'Barbabra'). Well, it was from last week, but I am still behind. So let's just pretend it is this week. Anyway, 'Barbara' is gorgeous with jaw dropping texture. She even comes with an additional prim attachment for more realistic movement. I think this is truly a brilliant idea, since movement is what is still missing from many mesh hairstyles. I also can not wait until mesh is re-sizable, because one size does not fit all (especially with mesh hair). Many of you may find you have to reshape your head, which I did quickly and poorly in the following pics. I was running behind, so I didn't have time to fuss with it :( For those of you who may not want to change their shape (trust me, Truth's hair is worth changing your shape for), please make sure you TRY A DEMO! There are still some kinks to worked-out with mesh, so make sure it fits before buying. Fortunately, SL technology moves fast, so mesh should be wearing better than ever in a few months. After much talk and conflicting schedules, my dear friend Kaelyn Alecto (who is also an AMAZING blogger and photographer) and I , were finally able to get together for a dual  post again. The Beautiful People

Woot! I finally have power and internet access again! If you haven't heard, NY go hit with a massive pre- Halloween nor'easter. Nice trick, but where is the treat? Anyway, due to the dense wet snow, many power lines went down. So, I was 'in the dark' for about day and half. I hope this isn't a precursor of what is yet to come.
