Even though the theme for this month's Collabor88 is 'Chill Pill', which is mostly 90's retro (love this theme!), I actually found some soft and romantic Collabor88 exclusives for this post.

For the last three cycles of Collabor88, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- has been releasing her 'Margot' skin line in different skin tones each month. For June's Collabor88, she released  'Margot' in her beautiful and delicate 'petal' tone. All the make-ups are so lovely and subtle. So, I could not resist doing a portrait of this gorgeous skin. 

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, created a unique an fabulous jewelry line called "Aiko" for this cycle of Collabor88. Each piece is in the shape of an eternity symbol and adorned with tiny beads. She created a whole a collection that includes a headpiece, earrings, a necklace, a bangle and a ring. Each item comes with a HUD that changes the texture the of the metal, as well as the beads. As I mentioned in my previous post, Ikon Innovia just released more stunning new eyes. They are called  "Ascension Eyes" and are absolutely STUNNING! I am wearing the "Deamon" color for this post. So, please make sure you try on a demo ASAP!

This Is The Strangest Life I've Ever Known

The team over at -Glam Affair- has been very busy lately! Not only have they been creating amazing skins (as usual), but they have also been making beautiful mesh accessories. They have a whole new line of stunning headdresses, bags, masks and mesh eye make-ups. If you are in need of some drama (the good kind) to enhance your avatar, you will find some very inspiring designs at -Glam Affair-. Speaking of being inspired, the exclusive 'Petal' edition of the 'Amberly' skin line, is seriously gorgeous. It is a collaboration between the skin making goddess, aida Ewing, and the very talented Soleil Reid of{Dead Apples}. aida created the base skins and Soleil created the brilliant make-ups. I was really drawn to the 'Edward' make-up of 'Amberly Petal'. So, I paired it with one of the new 'Zoya Headdresses', which was created by Amberly Boccaccio. Melancholia

The dark days of Winter are here and I am already dreaming of Spring. I know that in a blink of  an eye, the warmer weather will be here and half of another year has past. I often find myself thinking of when I was an adolescent. Time seemed to move at a snails pace, while anticipating life as an adult. Well, be careful for you wish for. By the time I fully emerged into an genuine responsible adult, time went by so fast. Ten years gone and where did it all go? I apologize for the somber mood of this post, but this has been on my mind.
In more uplifting news, I have some amazing new releases to show you. Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, created a fabulous dual colored mesh dress called 'Monique'. There is also a stunning new hairstyle from Kavar Cleanslate of ::Exile::, which is called 'I Will Wait'. Three Years Down!

I would like to wish everyone a VERY happy and healthy New Year! Not only is it a new year, but I am now officially three years old in SL years. Yes, it was rez day. I really never thought I would still be here, especially blogging. When I started this blog, it was purely a justification for my new found SL shopping addiction. It is bad enough I shop too much in RL, but SL just made it that much worse! LOL! Basically, I thought I would posts a few looks every now and then for my own personal 'Look Book', but never in my wildest dreams did I think anything would come it! If I seriously thought anyone would actually read or look at my blog, I would have given it a different name. To be honest, I still do not know if anything has come of it or if anyone really reads it. LOL! Well, that is not entirely true. I have met so many amazing people via my career as an SL blogger. I would have never met my closest SL friends, if it were not for this blog. Anyway, I am not sure where I am going with all of this, but I just want to thank all of my closest friends (you know who you are) for putting up with me for all this time. New Belgravia and Levoracci Releases!

Yay! Jin Elfan, who is the very talented creator behind both Leverocci and Belgravia, has just released another AMAZING collection! She is definitely the queen of mesh. Her all original and high fashion mesh creations make her one of the best designers on grid. So, enough butt kissing.... LOL! Actually, I truly am in awe of all her creations and always look forward to every release. This collection is full of mix and match separates, which include sexy pencil skirts, short belted jackets and cozy turtleneck sweaters. For this post, I chose to wear her new 'Alice Jacket', which has a very sexy neckline and is belted around the waist. It also comes with a texture-change HUD, so you can change the metals and the color of the sleeves, belt and cuffs. I paired this jacket with her fabulous new 'Seceratry Skirt'. It is the perfect pencil skirt and a definite wardrobe staple. Jin also released these beautiful 'Flat Iron' heels and 'Messenger Bag'. I am in LOVE! With Love...

The With Love Hunt has finally started and is going strong! I can't believe this is my 3rd Season participating in this hunt! To be honest, I never thought my blog would last this long! LOL! A blog that is 2.7 years old, is ancient by SL standards. As usual, Keira Seerose and her amazing team over at CHIC Management, has managed to get the best designers (both old and new) to participate in this event. Each hunt item is 10L, but you are getting an item that is valued at 300L or more. In my opnion, her hunts have had some of the best quality items thus far. So, this is definitely one hunt you do NOT want to miss!
For this post, I am featuring a gorgeous [PXL] skin exclusive, called 'GAIA Vintage Love'. GAIA is one of my favorite skin lines to date, so I was super excited that this brilliant version was a part of the hunt. I am also wearing a seriously beautiful necklace from Maxi Gossamer, which is a hunt item as well.This 'Paris Black Diamond - Choker' in gold is so stunning and made perfectly. The choker in gold alone, would make for a fabulous hunt item. But the whole gift includes this necklace in several different lengths and is made in both gold and silver! You have got to LOVE that!
Unfortunately,the dress I am wearing is not a hunt prize. But it is another awesome collaboration between Maylee Oh (The Secret Store ) and NyuNyu Kimono (Nyu). I just adore the mix between NyuNyu's amazing mesh work and Maylee's girly details and textures. The dress is called, Camille, and comes in a ton of gorgeous colors. I really hope they decide to do more joint creations in the near future.

One of my new favorite events has to be FAIR. They have such a lovely collection of designers, who create event exclusives that reflect a certain time of day. Their creations are also set at a fair price, which is both fair for the customer and the designer. One of the most gorgeous creations at FAIR, is a delicate mesh silk slip created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. The slip is called 'Aida' and it comes in ton of yummy colors.
I also have been meaning to post a recently released skin from Carina Larsen of Amacci. This skin is called Nuiko and it is really made for an avatar who has more Asian features. But it looked great on my avatar as well. The skin tone is so lovely. But, then again, all the Amacci Skins have amazing skin tones! Carina always makes such beautiful skins, so I really suggest you check-out her different skins and try on some demos. Here are your LMs:

Feeling 'Unhinged'

I am always amazed at how strong this small virtual community, called 'Second Life', can be. I am sure you have heard by now that one of talented residents, Eku Zhong, has been battling multiple illnesses and is desperately in need of a surgery that could help her tremendously. Unfortunately, with the economy being the way it is, she needs some help. This is where all her amazing friends, designers and SL residents come in to play. 75 percent of all the gacha sales at this event will go to Eku's 'Bone Fund'. One million lindens has already been raised! So, I encourage you go check-out the 'Eku Unhinged SL' event and play tons of gachas, listen to live music and help raise more cash! Leather and Lace

I just found some info the hard way. Do NOT install 'Skydrive', if you plan on taking pictures in SL or want to crash every 5 minutes. LOL! I had installed 'Skydrive' late Thursday night. I probably was not thinking too clearly from all the Thanksgiving food and wine. I did have this gut feeling that it could interfere with my viewer, but it started-up ok. So, I did not pay any attention to it. After a terrible couple of days dealing with my inventory not loading at all and crashing all the time, I finally was ready to take a picture. It crashed before I could hit the save button. I was really tired, so I went bed and figured it was just another crash. The next day, I struggled all day to rez my avatar. Once again, I got everything in order and was ready to snap away. But I  couldn't. No matter what setting or viewer I used, I crashed as soon as tried to press save. I started to freak, thinking something was majorly wrong with my computer. I decided to check the JIRA's to see if maybe there were some kindof bug or issue with SL over the Holiday weekend. And, sure enough, it said that 'Skydrive' would cause this type of behavior from a viewer. So, I quickly un-installed it and prayed that this was the problem. It was!  Whew! If my pictures suck, it is because I rushed to take them.

Behind every beautiful thing, there's some kind of pain...

I am so tired, so I will keep this post brief. Well, I will attempt to. Giz Seorn just recently released this fabulous short mesh 'Padded Coat'. I just adore the way it flares out. It such a perfect jacket for any casual Fall look. I also chose to wear this adorable mesh 'Allure' plaid skirt from Eclectic Wingtips of Eclectic Apparel. Their mesh is made so well with serious attention to details. Speaking of mesh, I am wearing this beautiful new hairstyle, called 'The Only Exception', from Kavar Cleanslate of ::Exile::. Under The Tuscan Sun

My mind is a bit blank at the moment. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that tomorrow is a Holiday here and it is going to be nuts! With that in mind, let me keep this post short. I am wearing the uber fabulous new 'Suede VCoat', which was created by the seriously talented Jin Elfan of Belgravia (Leverocci). This coat is pure love! The fur trim and sleek suede mesh textures are so divine and perfectly rendered. A definite MUST for your wardrobe! I paired the jacket with these gorgeous new mesh 'Tilda Suede Leggings' from MichaMi. Milla Michinaga has been on roll lately! She has been making the most beautiful mesh creations, which I still have yet to show you. So, please stay tuned for that. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C, has been creating new hair again! It is one of the few brands that has not gone mesh yet, which is nice for change. I am wearing the new 'Bridget' style that has nice windswept look to it.
OMG! I almost forgot! Caelan Hancroft just debuted her new line of stunning mesh jewelry! I am truly in awe of the beautiful details she manages to show off in all her designs. And, to make her jewelry even more special, each carefully crafted piece comes with a texture-change script!
