Sunflowers and Sunshine

I really adore Maylee Oh's, of The Secret Store, new 'Elsa Ruffle' shirts. They are so feminine, delicate and fit the female form so perfectly, as do all of Maylee's creations. This fabulous top is also a Collabor88 exclusive. There are just a couple of days left until the July cycle of Collabor88 ends, so hurry-up and go check them out!

Another favorite new release if mine are these gorgeous 'Lux' heels from Davidfre Resident of Just Design. Each part of the shoe can be colored via a texture change HUD. The HUD also has a database filled with preset skin tones from all your favorite skin designers. Within a couple of clicks, you have the perfect match to your skin! With the onset of appliers and HUDs , which automatically match skin tones, styling my outfits have become so much easier!

Maxi Gossamer has created some amazing new jewelry for the new round of FaMESHed and also for the United Fashion Project. For FaMESHed, you can find lovely 'Daisy Chain' bracelets and earrings, as well her 'Midnight Tears' necklace. Backyard Boho

Uff! Is it just me or is SL being a major pain in the butt this weekend? I heard it may be due to SL rolling out their server side baking. Unfortunately, I will not be able to experience this nifty new feature until the Firestorm or LL viewer makes it possible for me to shoot very large custom sized images. If you are photographer, who has upgraded to the latest Firestorm, I am sure you noticed the 'black rectangle' glitch with images above 4000 pixels. So, suffice it to say, I had to downgrade to my last Firestorm install. Small images with low quality is not an option. And I hate to say this, but what is the point of having all these amazing new photo tools, when you can't take decent picture? Regardless, I am excited about all the new advances, but I do hope they fix this issue soon.
My health still is on the mend, so I am also moving very slow. There are all these great releases and amazing things I want to post, but I am just not up to speed to show them yet. Please bear with me (Or is it "bare"? I always forget :/)

If you read my last post, I went on about Kavar Cleanslate's (of Exile) amazing new hair releases that are HUD driven with 8 streaking options. I figured this new stunning long and curly style, called "You'e Got The Love", added a bit of boho romance to my look. You really need to go over to Exile and try on ALL of Kavar's new styles and check-out the new HUD's cool features as well.
If you notice in the background, I have picnic table, cooler, barbecue grill, lanterns and even some pennants! This is all part of 'Cassie's Backyard Barbecue' from uber creative Isla Galeach of Cheeky Pea! It is a FaMESHed exclusive too! The picnic table seats 4 avatars and has 9 animations! Not to mention, the table is covered with tons of food and condiments. Despite all the amazing details, Isla manages to keep the LI is fairly small. Plus, the food items are not linked, so you can take away or add, depending on your prim availability. I need to invite some friends over for the Barbecue, so I can show you all the amazing options! Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).

Leather and Lace

I just found some info the hard way. Do NOT install 'Skydrive', if you plan on taking pictures in SL or want to crash every 5 minutes. LOL! I had installed 'Skydrive' late Thursday night. I probably was not thinking too clearly from all the Thanksgiving food and wine. I did have this gut feeling that it could interfere with my viewer, but it started-up ok. So, I did not pay any attention to it. After a terrible couple of days dealing with my inventory not loading at all and crashing all the time, I finally was ready to take a picture. It crashed before I could hit the save button. I was really tired, so I went bed and figured it was just another crash. The next day, I struggled all day to rez my avatar. Once again, I got everything in order and was ready to snap away. But I  couldn't. No matter what setting or viewer I used, I crashed as soon as tried to press save. I started to freak, thinking something was majorly wrong with my computer. I decided to check the JIRA's to see if maybe there were some kindof bug or issue with SL over the Holiday weekend. And, sure enough, it said that 'Skydrive' would cause this type of behavior from a viewer. So, I quickly un-installed it and prayed that this was the problem. It was!  Whew! If my pictures suck, it is because I rushed to take them.

If you LOVE Leverocci then you will definitely LOVE their new luxury brand, Belgravia. Leverocci's gorgeous all mesh and high quality designs are seriously amazing. However, if you are looking for something a little less casual and bit more upscale (it is hard to get more upscale than Leverocci) then Belgravia is just what you need. They just released a new collection for Fall and Winter, which consists of sumptuous furs, classic trench coats, super high leather boots and uber sexy corsets. And, to make this new label even more irresistible, their is a new skin line coming out as well!

Belgravia and Last Minute Collabor88 Must Haves!

Jin Elfan of Leverocci has been up to a lot of amazing things lately! Not only has she created an awe inspiring new mainstore and sim (which is modeled after the Metropolitan Museum of Art), but she also released part one of her Fall/ Winter collection. Jin is most definitely one of the TOP mesh creators in SL. Her creations are always textured so perfectly and she knows just what every woman in SL wants. Because of such keen knowledge, she created a new luxury line of mesh clothes, called 'Belgravia'. One of my favorite pieces is her 'Lila Fur Coat'! And it is not just because it has my name! It is the most realistic fur I have seen to date in SL. And, since it is mesh, it wraps around your body and flows perfectly. This coat is the ultimate indulgence and every woman must get one! Plus, I am so flattered that some one as awesome as Jin, named this uber glamorous creation after me :D So, you MUST check out the new Leverocci SIM and the amazing new releases as well. For once, I am speechless.

Major Graphic Card Problems and End of Summer Post

I know you MUST be sick of my laptop rants, but my graphic card did a final crash. Hence the lack of posts. I did find out that there was a driver update that I did not see on the website. Even though I can now log back into SL, I am still having issues. So, please ignore the crappy graphics and please bear with me. I think my laptop days in SL are coming to end. I will have to get a desktop, becuase SL just eats laptops and all their hardware.
So, LOTS of newness from  -Glam Affair- ad ::Exile::. I also missed the posting this uber cute 'Ribbon Kini' from PIDIDDLE, which was an Attic exclsuive, on time. Stupidly, I mixed the days up with another event. So, I am praying it will be available in the store or at least on Market Place.
aida Ewing's lastest skin 'Lilith' has to be my fav to date! Her features are so delicate and beautiful. And I LOVE that she has new skins tones that we saw with Cassiopea. aida works hard to constantly improve and update her skins. This is why she is one of my most favorite skins designers.
