Slink at SHOETOPIA 2013!

Ok! As most of you know, I am in love with  Slink's mesh feet an their Avatar Enhancement System. Siddean also included TONS of ankle blender tattoos in tones of red, yellow and gray.
It is quite apparent that Siddean put a lot of time and effort perfecting her system, which is a dream.These feet are glitch proof! She thought of literally everything, I could need to perfect my feet look! She also a provides a 'Slink AvEnhance Utilities - Feet HUD'. This allows you to switch between bare feet, stocking/ sock appliers and even tattoo appliers.

Back From Break

In case anyone has been wondering, I had to take a tiny break from SL and blogging. It was only about a week, but I needed to attend to RL priorities and my health. If you follow my blog, then you know I had not been well and never really took off the time that I needed. I am sure I could have taken off another week, but there are too many things I am committed to. One of these amazing commitments, which is really one of SL's most fabulous events (and commitment is bad word to describe it), is Avenue's Fall/Winter Fashion Week. Avenue's Fashion Week is a month long affair that is kicked off by a week's worth of fashion shows. These fashion shows feature SL's most talented designers. So I am honored to be a part of it. All of the creations that were seen on runways, can be bought at the Avenue Fashion Week Retail Center until the 29th of October.

One of the most stunning designs is this *DAMA* gown, which was created by Nevery Lorakeet of *Les Petite Details*.

I love the dreamy look of this bow-tied full skirt that breaks away, showing off the perfect amount of leg. Like all of Nevery's designs, it is sexy and elegant. This is not always an easy mix to pull off, but she always does it in style. 

PXL Creations just released a brand new group gift for their VIP Group Members! Even though this skin is gift for Halloween, it is anything but frightening (see above image). It is actually an exclusive version of the JADE skin in the PALE skin tone. As you can see, the make-up is absolutely gorgeous. That Old Black Magic Called Love

A new round of Collabor88 has arrived for October! Just when you think it can't any better than the last cycle, it does! For October the theme is "Black Magic". Think sleek structured lines, soft leathers and lace details. All in tones of black, brown, purple, teal and tan. It is impossible to pick a favorite item this round, so I chose to wear the first thing I saw in my messy inventory, which was this gorgeous 'Dakota Corset Gown' from the uber talented Azure Electricteeth of Tee*fy. What makes this gown particularity special, is that is comes with 4 wear options! You can wear it as gown, like I am wearing in the below pics. It also can be worn as chic mini dress - strapless or with a sheer overlay. You can also just wear the bottom part of the gown as skirt. This dress can be worn so many different ways, it is just up to you how you choose to style it.

Claire Messenger of N-core has been releasing so many beautiful new shoes lately. Her latest release is called "SHAE". I love how this fabulous heel is made up of thick sexy leather straps that are adorned with a shiny buckle. This is a definite wardrobe must!

I was having a really hard time deciding on accessories. So I decided to show you two different looks. In the above pics, I could not resist wearing this brilliant mask 'Up-To-No-Good Mask' from Polyester Partridge of (Yummy). It is also a Collabor88 exclusive this month.

In the below pic, I decides to go with this seriously lovely "Vlora" headpiece, which was created by Chirzaka Vlodovic of *LODE* Headwear. This floral headpiece is to die for and comes in a ton of colors too. You can pick it up at L'accessoires. 

I also went with two different skins. The first skin, which I am wearing in the above two pics, is Glam Affair's 'Lucy' in a snow skin tone. However, I messed-up. I thought it was still available at TDR Fusion, but it is no longer there. I am so sorry about this. On a brighter note, aida Ewing of Glam Affair released 4 more make-ups of her latest 'Neva' skin line for Collabor88. It is available in Artic and Jamaica skin tones. 

Truth Hawks just recently released a couple gorgeous new updos. I am in LOVE with this braided updo, which is called "Vida", that has perfectly whispy tendrils framing my avatar's face. 

Maxi Gossamer outdid herself again with this 'Shadow Cross' necklace. This too is a Collabor88 exclusive this month!

What is Style Shop?

Style Shop is a monthly event that features many of SL's most talented designers, who have created fabulous event exclusives at a very desirable price.

Since it is officially Fall here in SL, you can find wonderful Autumn inspired creations for both women and men. Soft cozy mesh sweaters, sexy suede boots, slinky dresses, smart jersey knits, sleek leather clutches, vibrant make-ups and gorgeous hairs styles are just a few of items that are featured this month! Lucy In The Sky

I am still sooooooo behind! So many events, so little time! I had been in a bit of rut when it comes to ideas for my posts. I had this gorgeous, as well as brilliant, mesh 'E-Motion Dress' from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store, All of Maylee's creations are incredible, but this dress... Well, let's just say I was blown away. It has this gorgeous cumulus cloud design, which actually rotates within the dress! The dress is Designers United 5 event exclusive, so you should grab it before this event over on October 4th. I really wanted to come up with a great idea for this post, in order to show off just how wonderful it is .Unfortunately, static images can't show you it's beautiful animation details. Luckily, Nati Williams, who is one of my favorite bloggers and {Imeka!} pose maker, made a video featuring this dress and a couple other items from Designers United 5. I search of ideas for this post, I went to the Designers United 5 event. OMG! It is seriously AMAZING! The theme for this year's Designer United, is 'Surrealism'. The combination of an awesome theme, mixed with my favorites designers (almost all ), made for the most fabulous creations. It is needless for me to say that with the onset of mesh almost any idea is possible. I think I bought almost everything there. All the items there are exclusive ( reasonably priced too), which means that they will not be sold after the event is over. I know all events say their items are exclusive and then you see them in the designer's mainstore after it is over (which is great for bloggers who are behind). However, these items are truly unique event exclusives and you definitely do not want to miss the chance to buy them!

The Trapeze Telephone Pole is a Designers United 5 exclusive from Nuwiggles. It can be used a pose prop or just decor for your home. I like using it for both. If you are a photographer, I really suggest buying this prop. It has been the source of  inspiration for so many great pictures. 

The uber cute Mochi Bunny that I am wearing was created by Anya Ohmai of !Ohmai for Designers United 5. The 'Mochi Bunnies' are actuality part of a set that comes with bunnies that you can wear and rez. Anya Ohmai always comes up with such a adorable and lovely ideas. 

The skin that I am wearing is from one of the gorgeous news skin lines by aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, called 'Lucy'. I am in LOVE with this skin! aida created such beautiful make-ups for Lucy and also tons of options! There are a total of 12 make-ups (as well as a bare make-up) that are available in 6 skin tones. Each make-up comes with 3 nose options (on a tattoo layer), a matte lip tattoo, 3 glossy lip tattoos, freckle tattoos, and 7 brow colors (embedded into the skin). This skin will fit just about any shape, so go and try on a demo ASAP!

Kavar Cleanslate of  :Exile::, created this seriously cute hair style for the Attic event. I love the whimsical girly feel to this hair, which also suits this dress perfectly! It comes with the texture change flowers that I am wearing too! I think tomorrow is the last day for this round of My Attic, so RUN and grab it!

My eye guy, Ikon Innovia came out with a new style of eyes for this round of the The Boutique! They are called 'Perspective Eyes' and are obviously stunning! They also come in just about every color imaginable. If you have not tried Ikon's eyes yet, I highly recommend that you do. I swear that you will never want to wear any other eyes again!

rockstarroo GossipGirl of [Atooly], created the adorable 'Lady Penguin Necklace' and the dainty 'Heart Charm Necklace' that I am wearing. Falling Forward

I think my laptop issues are fixed now and I feeling a little better. I am very behind though. I know much of what I am showing you has already been seen. However, since I love these creations, I will show them anyway. Most of the creation's I am wearing can be found at this month's Collabor88!
Harry Hyx of ISON  really went all out for this month's round of Collabor88. He basically came out with a whole new Autumn line. He created gorgeous opened pea coats, delicate pleated shorts, soft wool sweaters, beautiful over-sized leather clutches and super sexy riding boots. For this post, I chose to wear all these items, except for the sweater, which you will see in an upcoming post!

 I couldn't help but wear Azure Electricteeth's (of Tee*fy) lovely 'Turtle Neck Basic Sweater' with this ensemble. This sweater is truly a wardrobe MUST! It comes with several wear options, which include two specifically made for layering! I love mesh, but I hate that it can be difficult to layer. With the colder weather approaching, you can see where this can be especially troublesome. This sweater works with everything!

Did I mention just how hot ISON's 'Cult Riding Boots' are? Harry Hyx has this wonderful ability to create clothes that are both smart and sexy. They hug the female form in just right places; showing just enough, but not too much. You really must grab all these items, especially at Collabor88's amazing prices. 

Truth is back and with a lot more colors! After almost a month of no new releases, he came through with this gorgeous new hat adorned style, called 'Juniper', for FaMESHed. This style is not the only new thing Truth has created. His hair now colored via HUD. Since the HUD holds many more shades per color pack, including his 'root' options, I doubt you will have any problem finding the perfect color, I had heard he was making this change, like so many of SL's hair designers, but was not sure when it would happen. I am sure you discovered this by now, since he has released more hairstyles. Anyway, I am really excited about this change and glad it is finally here! Now my biggest problem is deciding what shade to wear! Btw, I think I will do a post devoted to all the recent hair releases, since I had not been able to blog much this month. There have been so many amazing new hair releases from all my favorite virtual stylists.

Glam Affair's Shanna for C88

I am still in catch-up in mode! Unfortunately, since I am THE MOST UNLUCKY person in the world (well, I do exaggerate a bit), my laptop has been overheating. So, I had to the following skin review in 2 parts. I snapped the first 6 skins before my laptop shutdown. In fear that it would shut down again, I decided to just snap 6 remaining pics. Normally, I would do a full re-take of all 12 images, since I prefer all the pics to be of the same angle position. I hope you do not mind.
Anyway, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- introduced a beautiful new skin for this month's Collabor88! Her name is 'Shanna' and she is available in 12 different make-ups in the Europa skin tone. Actually, there are 13 make-ups, since a 'bare' skin option is included with each make-up. So, you are basically getting 2 gorgeous skins with several brow color options for a very nice price! This definitely one opportunity you do NOT want to miss!

'Shanna's' make-ups vary from more artistic avant garde type make-ups to fashion forward everyday make-ups. As always, aida's facial features are delicate with beautiful detailing. The body, also reflects aida's careful attention to details, with a nicely defined stomach, neckline and legs. 

I also have to announce that for grand re-opening of the Glam Affair SIM and Mainstore, aida has just released a couple new full skin lines, which are amazing! So, please stay tuned for upcoming posts featuring these fabulous new skins, as well.  

When I was putting together my look for the portrait shot, I really had no idea what I was going do. More, like, I had nothing really planned yet. I decided to go with a sleek modern look. I absolutely adore the 'Yoon' hair that I am wearing, which is from Morphine Janick of [monso].This sleek, short and chin length blunt cut looked so great with this skin and make-up. A new round of L'accessories is here again, so I could not help but add a couple of this month's exclusive limited edition items to the mix. Once such item, is this brilliant 'Osiris' head piece is from Dahriel Resident of  *PosESioN*. I also chose this wonderful 'Itzel Statement Necklace' from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This necklace was a L'accessories exclusive last month, but it should be in the LaGyo Mainstore soon, if it is not already. 

As far as the rest of my look goes, I wanted to follow suit with sleek black pieces. I had this uber chic 'Gatsby Dress' from sunami Beck of Emery. It was a Collabor88 exclusive last month, which I really had wanted to blog, but had ran out of time. Thankfully, since most of the Collabor88 designs can be found in the designer's Mainstore after the cycle is over, I can still post it. I seriously love the simple and elegant look to this dress. The clean lines, short hemline and amazing use of texture, make this dress irresistible. 

To top off  look, I added another September L'accessories exclusive, which is this sensational 'Seconds Clutch' in a wonderful brocade texture. This clutch was created by the talented Paco Pooley of 22769. It is available in a ton of yummy colors and a couple of different textures too.

Indian Summer

The last couple of days have been super hot! I figured I may as well enjoy it, since much cooler weather is just around the corner. I decided put together an outfit, which reflects these warm and humid days.
However, before I start talking about my ensemble, I have more skin to show you. Shyla Diggs of -Belleza-, created more make-ups of her gorgeous new skin "Leila" for this round Collabor88. "Leila" is my new favorite -Belleza- skin. You can see that Shyla put a lot of work into this skin. The features are beautifully rendered and the skin tones are yummy.

"Leila" comes in 4 different Autumn inspired make-ups and is available in all the-Belleza- skin tones. And, since it is a Collabor88 exclusive, you can grab this skin for a very nice price! So, do yourself a favor and demo it now!

I am sure you notice the fabulous hair I am wearing. It is called "Serendipty" and it is one of the latest releases from Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair. I love the fact that all of Tabata's latest new hair styles are made of rigged mesh and come in 3 different sizes (small, medium and large). She also created new hair textures with a lot more color options! The hair color is changed via HUD, which has a tinting options too! Basically, the color options are endless. The HUDs come in a ton of color packs - Dark Browns, Light Browns, Dark Blondes, Light Blondes, A Glam Pack, etc... The shades in the "Glam Pack" are completely new and are made up various color fades, which I adore. I am really impressed with all the hard work Tabata has done in order to update her hair. They are so lovely and I am looking forward to all of her new releases.You must drop by Vanity Hair and check-out all the new hair styles!

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice created this gorgeous "Yse Maxi Skirt" and "Mjrie Top". Both of these pieces are FaMESHed exclusives this month! They come in ton of brilliant colors and can be mixed and matched in many different ways.

The crystal adorned jewelry that I am wearing, is from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. They are all part of her "Valma Collection" for this month's Collabor88. Birdy Skins for Chapter Four

I basically stopped doing full skin "reviews", because they take me FOREVER to finish. I am talking days! I have no idea why I am so slow. So, I am trying a new approach and am trying it again. My next couple of posts will be all about skin.
Speaking of skin... One of the newest skins that have really caught my attention, are Birdy Skins. nina Helix, the designer behind Birdy Skins, creates the most beautiful hand drawn skins. They have a lovely and soft ethereal feel to them, not unlike the skins from -tres blah-. Since the skin is hand drawn and not completely photo-sourced, you will find a few minor imperfections in some of the features. Personally, I find these small imperfections, the most charming part about these skins. Nina's skins are also extremely affordable. In fact, I think she needs to charge more for these high quality creations. For this round of Chapter Four, you can find her new "Ingrid" skin for just 99L per make-up!

There are a total of 4 make-ups , which come in her 'pure' skin tone, that come with several options. Each make-up has 3 different types of shading embedded into the skin - Dew, Matte and Regular. There are also 5 brow options that are embedded into the skin - Bare, Blonde, Brown, Red and Black. There is a gloss tattoo as well.

I highly recommend going over to Chapter Four and demoing this skin. I also suggest checking out Nina's Birdy Skins Mainstore too. 

I am so happy that Kavar Cleanslate of Exile is releasing ahir again! He has definitely been missed. This month, he is participating in 3 different events with a gorgeous exclusive style for each. In the above pics, I am wearing his FaMESHed exclusive, called "Where We Belong". It is a fabulous side bun/ponytail hybrid with long wavy locks. A definite MUST have!

Because I was barely here for August, I did not get a chance to blog Daphne Klossovsky's (of HANDverk), "Zelda Necklace and Earrings". They were an August Collabor88 Exclusive, but they are available in the HANDverk Mainstore now. Daphne has an amazing eye for detail and creates the most brilliant pieces. I aimpley adore this art deco inspired set, which is available incomes in a ton of colors.
