The super talented Mimikri Kit has been on fire lately, creating and releasing some of her best designs to date! She just recently released this beautiful camisole dress, called PIA. I adore the simplicity and relaxed flirty feel to this dress. It can be worn so many ways, but I decided to keep things simple and wear it as is. Carina Larsen of Amacci has released this fabulous new skin, called Tyne! Like all of Carina's skins, Tyne is expertly shaded with a luminous glow. Her body is beautifully rendered with a lovely tone. She is available in 12 stunning make-ups plus a "clear" version. Tyne also comes in a choice of 2 skin tones - cream and nutmeg. Each skin comes with a ton of options too, which include: 10 lipsticks (on tattoo), 3 cleavage options (on tattoo and shirt layer), several brow shapes and a blonde brow (on tattoo). Mr. Truth Hawks just recently released this fabulous new hair style, called Thelma! It is a Collabor88 exclusive this month, so you definitely do NOT want to miss it!
AvaGardner Kungler always creates such stunning jewelry with an amazing organic feel to it. Although these Walhalla Necklace and Earrings are not a recent release, I could not help but mention them. This post is long overdue, but definitely worth the wait. Mimikri Kit's latest release, called "Valerie", is a gorgeous crocheted strapless dress. Mimikri's mesh is always well rendered and her textures are beyond gorgeous. I definitely urge you try a demo now!
There are also some amazing new releases from the April cycle of Collabor88. The theme is "Kitsch". I can just imagine how much fun all the designers had, while making their creation for this quirky theme. There is a beautiful new skin from -Glam Affair-, called "Margot". As all of aida Ewing's skins, she is absolutely stunning! The face is to die for and she has the most perfect pouty lips! I could not resist wearing this skin for this post. Make sure you try on demo ASAP!
I also chose to wear another Collabor88 exclusive for this post. It is a fabulous new hairstyle from LaViere, called "Gisele". Azure Electricteeth not only makes some of my most favorite clothes on the grid, but hair as well. This style is long, chic and sexy. I am always really excited when Mimikri Kit, of Mimikri Hot Couture, releases a new creation. Her designs are always unique and completely original. Mimi not only creates her own amazing textures, but she makes her own high quality mesh as well. Unfortunately  such talents are becoming much more rare in SL. There are very few designers who do this. At least 80 percent of SL's fashion content are made from templates. Now, there is nothing wrong with templates. However, there is something really to be said about designers whose content is completely their own.
'TONI' is Mimi's latest ensemble and consists of a gorgeous highly detailed mini-skirt; a stunning striped sweater; and an adorable chunky vest. Each item is made up of rigged mesh and are sold separately. This is a really nice option, since you can mix and match different color combinations. In fact, Mimi does this with all of her releases. I highly encourage you to take a look at her most recent collections and try on some demos. If you want something beautifully made and all original, Mimikri always has something to offer. Melancholy Baby

I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on my current situation, which is making me very sad. First of all, I have been having so many issues with SL lately that it has been almost impossible to blog or log. I have wrote about this before and received some helpful advice, but unfortunately it did not work. As most of you know, I have been having issues with logging in, mesh not rezzing, layers not rezzing, inventory not loading and constant crashing. This is so frustrating and depresing. Blogging is my creative outlet in this crazy world. Not to mention, I am letting all the people I blog for down. But, what can I do? I do not know what is causing these problems. I am doing my best to find out what exactly it may be. Is it my laptop, connection, viewer or just SL? Maybe it is bit of everything.
Secondly, I just had surgery. It was nothing major, but I did develop a small post-op infection that I have had to take time off to fight. So, please bear with me while I take the time to let my body heal and to find out what is making my SL sick.
I finally got around to posting a creation that was released a couple of months ago. It is an outfit from the fabulous Mimikri Kit, called 'Renee'. This all mesh ensemble is perfect for early fall. It is made up of classic chinos, a crop knit tank and suede shrug. There is also a gorgeous hip sash to add an extra bit flare to this extraordinary oufit. Lovely Linette!

Mimikri Kit just released another fabulous mesh creation, called 'Linette'. 'Linette' is the quintessential strapless summer dress. It is pretty, delicate and flows so nicely! I simply LOVE it! I'm Trying To Catch-up...

I just wanted to apologize yet again for how behind I am. I am recovering from being pretty ill, plus I have had a lot of crazy RL stuff going on over the last few weeks. So, suffice to say, I had to put my blogging on the back burner and take care of things...not to mention myself. I will be working as hard as I can to catch-up. However, I also need to take care of my health, so I may not be able to crank out 2 posts a day. I may not be able to post everyday, but I will do my best. I am soooooo thankful to all the designers who have stood behind me. It really means a lot to me and I am so grateful for your understanding. I am also not angry at those who dropped me. I am sad, but I understand that every designer has different needs. I love you all regardless.
Anyway, in more exciting news, the fabulous Mimikri Kit went mesh! And let me just say, you would never know this was her first attempt. Her beautiful new 'Jada' suede pants and tanks are simply stunning! Mimi really is on par with her textures, which for me  is a huge issue with mesh. If a designer's texturing is poor, chances are their mesh creations look like bad polyester pants. Thankfully, Mimi's eye for detail helped her turn out these new mesh separates in style!
And, speaking of new mesh masters, I am wearing Truth Hawks other latest release (aka 'Barbabra'). Well, it was from last week, but I am still behind. So let's just pretend it is this week. Anyway, 'Barbara' is gorgeous with jaw dropping texture. She even comes with an additional prim attachment for more realistic movement. I think this is truly a brilliant idea, since movement is what is still missing from many mesh hairstyles. I also can not wait until mesh is re-sizable, because one size does not fit all (especially with mesh hair). Many of you may find you have to reshape your head, which I did quickly and poorly in the following pics. I was running behind, so I didn't have time to fuss with it :( For those of you who may not want to change their shape (trust me, Truth's hair is worth changing your shape for), please make sure you TRY A DEMO! There are still some kinks to worked-out with mesh, so make sure it fits before buying. Fortunately, SL technology moves fast, so mesh should be wearing better than ever in a few months.
