I also wanted to give another showing of Truth Hawks latest hair releases. I am in LOVE with them! He seriously outdid himself with both of these styles. Waiting To Exhale....

My laptop is about to die at any second and my solution as to replacement is still pending. Oye! So, please keep your fingers crossed that this dying laptop can make until I find a resolution. I shutter at the thought of being without access to Second Life, which probably means that I need a break anyway. I actually even feel guilty for feeling this way, since in retrospect, this is purely a luxury problem and not an absolute necessity. Even though many of us feel that is... Well, I guess if I were using this as a way to make a living, but I am not. There are people with far worse problems in then world than not being able to post an outfit I styled.
Anyway, enough of that.... Let's see some of the amazing new releases from Giereh Thorr. I am in love with his new collection, which is mixed with sleek lines and also beautifully sculpted prims. The clothes have a boho type feel to them that I adore. Giereh's pieces vary from lovely casual denim shorts to gorgeous floral prim dresses. Lemon Sorbet

Being a native New Yorker and Manhattanite, I have always had a love affair with color black. Practially my whole wardrobe, except for a few bright colored accessories, consisted of black and neutrals (from white all the way to the darkest brown). The very thought of even wearing bright color, especially yellow, was incomprehensible. I shunned bright colors, like a vampire does sunlight. However, the strangest thing has started to happen to me... I am being drawn to bright colors! The brighter the better! I am loving the citrus shades of orange, lime, and lemon. The passionate tones of fuchsia and red. It most be hormonal, becuase this just doesn't happen to someone like me. I do have to admit, I only wear such vibrant colors in Second Life.I still have not worked up the ability to step out of neutral shell in RL. So, with that all said, I think this outfit sums up what I am talking about. This fabulous 'Lemon Sorbet[' dress, which was created by the even more fab Applonia Criss of CHANTKARE, is the perfect shade of yellow. Mind you it will not be available until the next cycle of 'The Fashion Garret'. So you will have to wait a few days to grab it. Mikee Mokeev of Mstyle, surprised us with a line of solid color ' RIVEA' Pumps in a bunch of juicy colors. Of course, I am wearing 'Lemon'. Spotlight on *Donna Flora*

I have always associated the name *Donna Flora* with stunning vintage/ retro inspired jewelry and clothes that usually cover the 1920-50s. Squinternet Larnia's creations are always flawless and represent unltimate glamour. So, I can not tell you just how excited I was to be able to review some of her latest releases; including her newest venture....Shoes! And, if you know me, you know I adore shoes!!! I have to apologize in advance for the quality of my pics. My laptop needs to be replaced and everything is failing. It took me two days just to get together these pics, which is a definite sign that Dell better hurry-up! I also have been under-the weather, so that didn't help either. I just wish I had been able to do more justice to these amazing designs the Squinternet created so beautifully. I truly felt like a diva in them.

CHIC's 1 year Anniversary!!! Plus, a couple other milestones....

Wow! There are quite few anniversaries this time of year. First, as of the last week in May, my blog turned 1 year old and so did my career as an 'SL Fashion' blogger. Boy, I came a long way! LOL! What made this anniversary even sweeter, was being invited to be a part of the uber exclusive SL fashion feed, 'Style Academy'. I was literally in a state of shock after being given this amazing news. I mean, just about every blogger, who I look up to, is part of this amazing feed!
The other exciting annivesary, would be that if CHIC Management. Keira Seerose, who is the head of CHIC, has worked tirelessly to bring us some of the most incredible and well organized events in SL. She definitely has made the SL fashion industry a much more exciting place. Keira is known for bringing us the best of the newest and more established designers to her events.
