Molichino at Vintage Fair

Vintage Fair 2012 is still going strong and their are tons of gorgeous exclusive creations to be found. One of my favorites is the 'Jaci Dress', from Aurelia Chauveau of MOLiCHiNO. I just love how this gown is long, slinky and just barely grazes the floor. It exudes sensuality with the strapless and low-cut bodice. I can not help but feel sexy and glamorous in this STUNNING creation! The 'Jaci Dress' comes in a lot fabulous colors. You can choose a solid tone or beautiful and graduated fade, like I am wearing in the following images. I have to say that Aurelia's mesh creations are amazing and the quality is quite high! They are so well textured and wonderfully executed. I always have such a weak spot for her lovely creations. You simply must get over to Vintage Fair and try on a demo!
I also wanted to mention that I am wearing the latest skin from Lara Hurley, called 'Claudia'. She is absolutely gorgeous! Her skin is luminous and has the most perfectly placed beauty mark. The lips are glossy and pouty. The body is beautifully rendered, as well. Please stay tuned for a full review. Marni Grut  is such an amazing designer, so it is no wonder that she is right up there with my all time favorite SL creators. As an the end of Summer approaches, Marni decided to design a few essentials to carry us into Fall. She created a gorgeous, and perfectly sculpted, 'Festival Love Top'. This piece has a lovely empire waist and beautiful detailing down the front, There is also a 'School's Out Skirt' that is adeptly sculpted as well and just too pretty for words. Lastly, Marni created the most perfect pair of denim shorts to bring this collection full circle. All of these pieces come in a ton of fabulous colors, which make them ideal for mixing and matching. Sissy Pessoa, who is one of my all time favorite SL designers, just recently came out with this insanely gorgeous 'Cabaha' dress. As usual the prims are sculpted so perfectly and the texturing is very beautiful. I always look forward to Sissy's next creation. By the way, Sissy has been very busy lately! She also managed to create a new skin line, named 'Nina'. And let me tell you, it is fabulous! She comes in 5 skin tones and 12 lovely make-ups. 250,000 miles on a clear night in June and I'm so lost without you ...

I was a slacker yesterday and took a day off from blogging. I guess I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and just lacking inspiration. How does one have so many amazing things to blog and not be inspired? It happens, but I still don't understand why.... However, since I am rather high strung and slightly neurotic (Hey! I'm from NY!), I managed to emerge from a very drowsy state and snap some pics in the middle of the night. I wasn't completely completely happy with the pics, but they were acceptable for posting... At least I think so...

Yellow Buttercup...

I have been a bit "under-the-weather", so I have been working on this post in bit and pieces over the last day. It should have been posted last night, but I had no energy to finish my last couple of pics or even attempt editing. *Laughs* Anyway, if you read my blog or know me, then you will also know that I have started to fall in love with bright colors. You know, like yellow, orange, etc... I am a native Manhattanite, who loves her black and neutral tones, when it comes to clothes. However, something crazy has been happening to me and I can't get enough of these brilliant shades. Now, this trend has not yet infiltrated my RL, except for bright splashes of colors found on choice accessories. But, I have definitely been living out this obsession in my SL. Waiting To Exhale....

My laptop is about to die at any second and my solution as to replacement is still pending. Oye! So, please keep your fingers crossed that this dying laptop can make until I find a resolution. I shutter at the thought of being without access to Second Life, which probably means that I need a break anyway. I actually even feel guilty for feeling this way, since in retrospect, this is purely a luxury problem and not an absolute necessity. Even though many of us feel that is... Well, I guess if I were using this as a way to make a living, but I am not. There are people with far worse problems in then world than not being able to post an outfit I styled.
Anyway, enough of that.... Let's see some of the amazing new releases from Giereh Thorr. I am in love with his new collection, which is mixed with sleek lines and also beautifully sculpted prims. The clothes have a boho type feel to them that I adore. Giereh's pieces vary from lovely casual denim shorts to gorgeous floral prim dresses. Plus, he now has fabulous hats and shoes to add more flavor to this already awesome collection. You can never go wrong with well made accessories. I think the pics will explain much more. A Secret Between Friends...

Once again, I had the pleasure and honor of working with Kaelyn Alecto, who is a seriously talented 'sl-fashion' blogger and also someone who I am proud to call an even more amazing friend. We had long awaited Maylee Oh's (The Secret Store) new releases. Finally, the time an had come and Maylee outdid herself again. This 'mini Summer collection' is STUNNING! So, now the hard the part had settled in... Finding the time to blog these pieces together! Unfortunately, Kaelyn and I are in different time zones and have crazy RL schedules. Finally, we found the time, but with my ever dying laptop mixed with some major lag, we could only manage to capture one outfit on each on us. Our idea of being able to style and "quickly" snap some pics of this lovely collection, was soon met with the reality of our situation. So, hopefully,when I have working a laptop, we will be able to do a bigger post in the future. However, I am extremely grateful to have been able to get the pictures I have and also to see each others different artistic perspectives on Maylee's extraordinary work. Now, I could go on and on about Maylee's extremely talented use of texture and design. The beautiful prints mixed with very feminine lines and details, which are so apparent in her 'Darling Cardigan' and 'Cherie Skirt'. And also her use of classic accessories, like her 'fine gloves'. Just so you know, I have been dying to find a pair of gloves like these and now Maylee created them! But, there is still much more to be seen of the timeless collection, so please stay tuned.
