I was sincerely flattered when Alan Edison, the designer behind Ty Zvezda sent me some review copies. As a long time fan of Alan's designs, it was a real treat to work with his gorgeous pieces. Alan has and intuitive feel for the female form and his body conscious designs are proof of this. In the first picture, I am wearing the 'Ella' gown. This is one luxurious piece that gives my figure an amazing silhouette.The silky texture and simple lines make this one elegant number. I just adore how Alan carefully adds the perfect amount of highlights and shadow, in order to show of the folds and creases on the dress. This is definitely one of my favorite gowns!
In the second picture, I am donning the 'katfkan'. This gorgeous piece comes in rich colors and 3 different wear options. This is another aspect that I love about Alan's clothes. Once again, the texture has a silk-like feel and flows with each subtle movement. The perfect piece to add to any outfit.
In the third picture, Alan has me in his 'Oklak' vest. This has a more bohemian and folksy look to it, which I am really into at the moment. Once again, this come sin 3 different sizes, so you can find the perfect fit and/ or look. I also paired this look with Alan's 'shuffle flats' and 'bunty heels'. These shoes are simple, but made extremely well. Pus, they go with just about any casual look.
In the fourth picture, I am sporting the first skirt I have ever bought at Ty Zvezda. I love the high waisted tulip shape and super soft iridescent texture. One again, Alan uses his incredible eye for detail  to carefully adorn  this skirt with hand drawn buttons and 3 different trim options.. This skirt is a MUST for any woman's wardrobe. This 'high waisted mini' can be worn casual or dressy, like so many of Alan's designs.
I the fifth picture, I am wearing Alan's fabulous 'mini beach wrap'. This uber cute pareo also comes in two different wear option.This is the quintessential bikini cover-up As you can see in the middle of this picture, I am went in a slightly different direction. I am wearing this amazing 'Sloo' top. I just can't get enough of this cute button down blouse which is cinched by a wide belt. Simply scrumptious.
In the fifth and last picture, I had to show a close up the handbags! I am in LOVE with Alan's bags. There is the 'Ugery' bag that is constructed with soft leather an beautiful jewel tones. Then we have 'Fofo' bag, which is made up of a thicker leather and wrapped in a uber cute bow. The silver linked straps are the finishing touch on this already amazing accessory. If you are a hang-bag whore  like me, these are the ultimate pieces for any womans handbag inventory. So yummy!

Rediscovering rbcg! Re-Opening in July 22nd, 2010!

Today. Friday July 23, 2010, rbcg will be re-opening it's doors! Kyrsten Jigsaw has been working hard setting everything up, so she can bring us her very unique and awesome creations....some old and some very new! I love Kyrsten's originality and sense of humor that she brings to light in so many of her pieces.You can find "kitschy" accessories like clown glasses and various "noms-noms"s all the way to amazing creations like her "If You're A Bird" dress. Krysten also has a large selection of items for the home as well.

In the first picture, I wearing Kysten's "If You're A Bird" dress in brown. The dress is simple, yet has an incredible hand drawn texture. She carefully adorns the dress with feathers, making this one delicate and interesting number. I kept thinking of the movie "The Birds" when I was looking at this dress (I have no idea why), so I grabbed Kysten's "Birdie" props that attach to you hand and ear. The bird the attaches to your ear flies around. The pictures I took, of course, look nothing like the movie "The Birds" ,or even remotely close to it, but I had a lot of fun playing with birds! *LOL* I also paired the dress with the rbcg "bohindian" bag. I have a big time bag fetish, so I couldn't resist this perfectly sculpted piece. Krysten had a lot of cute bags and totes in the store, so it was really hard to choose.

The "bohindian" bag was part of the "the indian collection", which comes complete with decor that includes a "tee pee", "makeshift fire" and "makeshift kayak". It also comes with the "indiankini" and "chief head-dress", which I am wearing, and ultra-cute accessories like the "dream catcher". So, I couldn't help but  go all out and show you some of the set-up and also this really cool bikini, whose fabric is comprised of Kysten's signature hand drawn textures. I think I had a little too much fun playing with my "have tee-pee will travel", but Kysten's pieces have that effect on you. Parading in 'Pesto'

Things have been pretty hectic in the Demented Divas Camp latley so it was nice to relax a little and slip into some of Pesto Portland's outfits and chill. Pesto is the owner and designer of Pesto Apparel and what a talent she has, bringing us yet more yummy delights to add to our wardrobes. The Bolero Jacket Im wearing in Pics 1 & 2 comes with two options which is always a plus for me. If your feeling daring the Nipple Tape is perfect choice and for the more conservative look the White Top option is the way to go. Sporting prim cuffs and collar this is a worthy addition to any inventory as it is so versatile and comes in a choice of 12 delicious colours. The SupaMiniSkirt again like the Jackets comes in an array of lucious colours with 15 to choose from, so you really are spoilt for choice. Although the skirt is rather short it still stays away from that 'Slut' look which I really dislike. With careful use of textures and prim I have to say fitted me perfectly for a change this sassy little number is definatley a head turner. Last but not least is the SummerTeeShirt which comes in 12 scrumptious colours and is perfect to go with almost anything. With a choice of layers this again like all of Pesto designs is a worthy addition to any inventory. Some more "Love" from aDIVA Couture

I am wearing one more amazing outfit from aDIVA Couture that is currently available at the "Summer of Love Fair". This piece is quite accurately named, "Gelato Crinkle Tropical Blouse with Jeans Shorts". If you remember, I just reviewed a fabulous jumper from aDIVA in the same fabric. Once again, I am truly amazed with AnneJoy Paine's sense of style. I am even more amazed that she can execute her ideas so flawlessly. I just adore how the blouse hugs my body and is cropped just enough to show the perfect amount of skin. The contrast of the flared ruffle sleeves adds that extra something special, which sets this piece apart from so many other outfits of this type. The unbuttoned shorts makes this outfit super sexy. Now this look can look can end up appearing a bit slutty, but AnneJoy manages to balance out everything with her carefully crafted cuffs and "not too" short shorts. *LOL* I still can't get over AnneJoy's meticulous detailing and beautifully made textures. It's definitely a major winner in my book.

OMGah! AZOURY has blown my mind! AZOURY is a name that was unheard of, at least to me, until a couple of weeks ago. It was "I love 69" time and AZOURY was one of the shops on the list. Now, being a "shoe girl", the first thing I noticed were all the lovely footwear that AZOURY had to offer. Little did I know that Mayhem Seetan, the brilliant designer behind it all, also created fabulous clothes! Mayhem has a real feel for "Haute Couture". Her designs cutting edge, unique and gorgeous! Her keen eye for detail and and expertly crafted prims produce not an outfit, but a work of art.
In the first picture, I am wearing "La Robe Pensee Noir". I just love the carefully sculpted skirt, which flows with each subtle movement.The rich texture and intricate detail give this gown an ethereal feel. I like how Mayhem pairs this soft lovely gown with a hard collar and bold bangles. This jewelry is part of the outfit, which is always a nice bonus, especially since it is beautiful and well made. Usually, when jewelry comes with an outfit, it isn't that nice, so this is really great surprise.
In the second picture, I am wearing "La Tenue Anemone". This is an extraordinary design. I adore how this little elegant black dress has such a bold personality. The ornate lace texture is to die for and the prim work on the skirt is absolutely incredible! I feel like I should be walking down a runway in Paris when I wear this dress. And the ankle boots! Yes, these ankle boots come with the dress. Mayhem's beautifully painted textures and flawless construction, make these boots a perfect match for this dress. They would also make a brilliant addition to the rest of your wardrobe too.
In the third picture, I am wearing "La Tenue Clematite". I love how Mayhem names many if her designs after flowers. This piece is definitely more casual and has a bit of an 80s retro look to it. The stunning pattern on the leggings give off a soft velvet-like sheen. They are paired with an ultra sexy "peek-a-boo" tube top, which shows off just the right amount of cleavage. Mayhem definitely knows the female form and how to create designs that hug each curve splendidly. This outfit also comes with a pair of very cool boots.
In the fourth picture, I donned "La Tenue Narisse". This also has a bit of retro flavor, but more reminiscent of the 60s. I love the asymmetrical design of the top with a "Missoni-like" print. The striking collar gives it an extra bit of edge and a more modern feel. The super flared pants just make this one outstanding design. Once again, Mayhem comes through with the matching shoes. These are pumps are just sublime! I feel in love with the scalloped heel and open toe. The shoe has sculpted prim foot and a very easy to use hud, so you can find the exact tone of your skin without any fuss.
I the fifth and last picture, I am wearing "La Tenue Sauge". This is a very sassy denim mini-skirt, with an extremely sexy "tie in front" top. I really like how so many if Mayhem's outfits come with a belted waist. One again, it's the extra special attention she gives to the female body. Her designs are are bold and straight forward, but are still very feminine and sensual. She carefully puts together her outfits for maximum style and appeal. Mayhem is a true artist with a very progressive sense of fashion. She doesn't follow fashion, fashion follows her. So, please do yourself a favor and tp on down to AZOURY now!
