Cheeky Pea - Rowan Tea Spa for FaMESHed, Izzie's Latest Skin and LaGyo Axila Set for C88

I have been so frustrated lately with the new viewer and server baking issues. Plus, to top it all off, I think my graphic card is going on my laptop. So, suffice it to say, I am quite frustrated. I also started all the following pics on Sunday! It is now Wednesday and I am finally posting them! WTF? LOL! I spent hours fussing with the viewer, since I would lose detail (or whole meshes) if I zoomed out. This has never been an issue. Shadows also do not work like they used to either. I did several retakes and several different edits on each pic. This is a blog, not an art gallery. But, I just couldn't stand the quality of my images. In fact, I am still not happy with them, but sometimes you just have to put an end to the insanity!
Ok, enough complaining. Isla Gealach, of Cheeky Pea, has created this AMAZING 'Rowan Tea Spa' for FaMESHed. It is simply adorable and so beautifully rendered. I love the tea cup shaped tub and the many brilliant animations that come with it too.You definitely have to come check this set out!

I decided to take a spa day, while wearing the latest skin from Izzie Button. Her name is "Jill" and is simply lovely. As always, Izzie's skin comes with a ton of make-up options on tattoo layers. As well as freckle and brow options. Do yourself a favor and try on a demo!

A Day In The Garden

Wow! I've sooooo much stuff to talk about and I don't know where to start first! I guess I will start with this super cute and chic mesh 'flared skirt and floral top'. What makes this set even more special, is because it is a collaboration between two amazing designers, NyuNyu Kimono and Crystalny Resident. It is an event exclusive for Bees Through The Seasons, so you really do not want to miss out on this gorgeous set!
Now, I have been looking for the perfect excuse to wear this fabulous hair and hat style, called "Sabine", which was created by the uber talented Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair  This style has such a elegant and retro feel, so I really wanted to wear the perfect outfit with it. The hat is texture-change, which definitely helps. Well, my outfit may not be that vintage, but 'Sabine' definitely added some extra glamour and class to my look. I really don't think that I mention enough just how amazing Tabata's hair styles are. Her beautifully crafted hairs cater to so many different styles. From looks that are couture, rebellious, retro or just plain glamorous, Vanity Hair is one place you absolutely must take the time to check out!
Speaking of vintage and retro and style, Winter Thorn of {what next}, designed this incredible 'Garden Cafe Caravan' for The Garden event! I cant think of anything it does not do! Not only does it have this amazing 50's look to it that is all mesh, but it has a tons of animations, cook wear, tasty bits to nibble on and refreshing drinks too. The caravan is also texture-change! If you are looking for anything to cheer-up your home or just a cute gossip nook, this is the perfect center piece.
Izzie Button just recently came out with a gorgeous new skin called Holly. The skin is beautifully rendered with the cutest lips. And, as always, Izzie always gives you tons of options! Eye tattoos, lip tattoos  freckles and cleavage enhancers. Now, you can even purchase an applier HUD for your Slink mesh hands and feet from Izzie. She even sells additional mani and pedis for it too! The Slink avatar enhancement upgrade for their mesh hands and feet, has got to be one of favorite inventions of the year! No more fussing with trying to match skin tones! If you already own Slink mesh hands and feet, just go to the Slink re-delivery terminal and get your free upgrade. Now, if only all of my favorite skin makers created appliers for Slink hands and feet, then I will be in heaven....

Tee*fy for Collabor88 and {what next} for Pose Fair 2013!

I am in so love with March's theme and color palette for Collabor88  I simply adore the soft pastels and romantic styles. I can't think of a better way to start the Spring season off! Sadly, there are only of few days left for this cycle of Collabor88, so you better hurry-up and get up over there! You will definitely NOT be disappointed.
For this post, my look is made-up mostly of March Collabor88 exclusives. I chose Azure Electricteeth's, of Tee*fy and LaViere, lovely mesh 'Elyse Wrapped Tucked Tank' and 'Estelle Fluffy Skirt'. They come in a ton of gorgeous colors that can mixed and matched and perfectly! I also chose this elegant 'Bow Scarf', created by Polyester Partridge of (Yummy)  to accessories this ensemble. And, of course, I could not resist adding these adorable 'Saddle Shoes' from Julliette Westerburg of Tres Blah. Like all of the other creations mentioned, they come in a ton of yummy colors and even with a seriously cute sock option too. All items mentioned are mesh as well.
Speaking of fabulous new releases, Winter Thorn and FrankLee Anatra of {what next} created one of my most favorite pose props for Pose Fair 2013 - The 'Bramley Bicycle'. They created two different bicycle pose props and each come in a male and female version. This bicycle comes equipped with a ton of  fabulous poses for both singles and couples. And, if that is not enough, the bike also has a texture change script to match any outfit or scene! In my opinion,{what next} brings some of the most incredible home decor and pose props to grid. So, you absolutely must check-out their 'Pose Fair' exclusives ASAP!
Although it is not a 'Pose Fair' exclusive, I had meaning to show this whimsical 'Adventure Playground Swingset', which is from {what next} as well. It is available for sale in several different texture options and has a multitude of charming single and couple animations. I have been sick the past week, so I will try to make this post as short as possible. I have this gorgeous 'Bibbe' dress, which was created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice  It is an Arcade exclusive, so this definitely one item that is well worth trying you gacha luck out on. Sissy also just released these fabulous 'Athena' pumps. What makes them especially cool,  is the fact that they come with and without a sock option. If you choose the sock option, there is a HUD with tons of colors and textures for you too choose from.
Gyorgyna Larnia FINALLY created new full release for Spring that is called, 'Fran'. It is made up beautiful vinyl bow adorned headbands, scarves, belts and bangles. So, I am trying like mad to catch-up. LOL. I mean, what is new? As usual, for this cycle of FaMESHed there are soooooo many amazing creations to be found. I am wearing this uber cute striped dress from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. I love the chic simple lines that are decorated with horizontal stripes. NyuNyu's mesh and textures are always so lovely.

HANDverk also released these super sleek Shell Chairs. I think they definitely go with this mod theme that I am trying to achieve. I really adore HANDverk's originality and not to mention their extraordinary talent for creating mesh designs. So, please make sure you stop by the current cycle of FaMESHed and pick-up some awesome creations. 

Oh! I almost forgot to add that Izzie Button has just released another gorgeous new skin, called "Harlow" (hmmm...I wonder who that is named after?). As usual, Izzie's skin is flawless and beautiful. You get so many tattoo options with each base skin tone, which include: make-up layers, cleavage layers, freckle options and gloves for her prim nails. I am sure I forgot something, since Izzie always thinks of EVERYTHING! Plus, her skin is very inexpensive for all the options you get and also the amazing quality. With that said, here are your LMs:

Home For The Holidays

I have not done a 'SL Home' post in a long time. But, since I have been having so much fun decorating for the Holidays (with my SL partner in crime, LouLou Teichmann) and thinking of expanding my blog with more 'home decor' posts, I figured this was great opportunity to start. Mariah Urriah, of kudzu homes, has a bunch of charming and highly detailed classic prefab builds to offer. She has a nice range of huge family homes all the way down to cozy cottages for couples. They are all built to scale and seriously beautiful. Just so you know, most of her homes are partial mesh or full mesh builds, so you will need mesh enabled viewer to see them correctly. For this post, I chose to showcase the 'Savanah Family Home'. This gorgeous and traditional country home, comes with three bedrooms, one bathroom and even a sunroom! This build comes to a total of 216 prims, which is very nice for all the amazing details it has to offer. The windows and doors are mesh and the rest of the home is a standard sculpted prim build. And, let me just say, I LOVE molding on the doors and windows. It is accents like this, that really make a great home. Mariah's textures are absolutely stunning too. I also noticed that her homes are truly to built scale. I have found in many SL homes, you need to be giant to live in them. The doors themselves are three times my size! I found with this home, everything has a very realistic size and feel to it. Needless to say, I am very impressed with Mariah's talent. I am a bit brain dead at the moment and do not want to keep repeating myself, so please check-out the picures. Do keep in mind that all the winter, bedroom and garden decor are NOT included with home.
