Summer Of Love Fair - Part 1

The Summer of Love Fair will be between Midnight GMT July 17th (as July 18th breaks) until August 8th and is brought to you by Keira Seerose and her team CHIC Management.
The Fair's aim is to help raise awareness of Mental Health Issues and many of the top designers have come together to showcase items not available elsewhere until after the fair is over. We all love Plastik and it was as always a pleasure to wear another of the amazing designs from one very talented designer. I love how the clothing from Plastik always come with so many layer options and these little stunners also come with a selection of tattoo layers aswell. Showing just enough skin to give them a sassy yet still classy look Aikea Rieko has done it yet again and created another yummy masterpiece. I personally love a nice pair of shorts and wasnt dissapointed with these cute little denim shorts from Black & Blue Outfitters. The adorable babydoll tops come in a selection of delicious shades making it an ideal piece to mix and match with almost anything. The Beachside dresses are again perfect for the summer and have a fresh and clean feel about them. Not only is there clothing on offer at Black & Blue there are also the yummy Alyssa skins that Lila and I are wearing. With a perfect pout and eyes that are smouldering but yet still have an innocence to them this skin was a delight to wear. :PESTO: is YUMMY! And I am not talking about the sauce! Pesto Portland is the talented designer behind all these cool and sexy creations. I just love Pesto's use of vibrant colors and eye-popping textures, which make her clothes extra appealing and very appetizing. Her sleek hand drawn details and carefully crafted prims, hug the lines of one's body perfectly. Pesto knows how to show just enough skin with out making her clothes look trashy and cheap. I think you know who some of these designers are, but I won't mention any names.

In the top two pictures, I am wearing Pesto's ultra-cute "LazyTankDress". It certainly is the perfect dress to slip into during these hot and lazy summer days. The dress has a super high mini that justs screams HAWT! The "neat" patterns are just so delicious that it makes it almost impossible to choose which one I want to wear. I was also very impressed with Pesto's flawless prim work on the skirt. This is such a rare find with this type of tank dress. I didn't have to edit the skirt one bit, which as you know by now is a BIG issue with me.

In the bottom two pictures, I am sporting Pesto's "LowDenimShorts". These also come in a fabulous array of colors and show just enough back to be alluring and not slutty. The shadowing and highlights on the shorts are done with an adept precision that brings the denim to life. I switched off pairing the shorts with the "OpenBoleroJacket" and "CroppedTankTop". I have a "thing" for bolero jackets and Pesto does this short sculpted jacket justice. The jacket comes with 4 layering options to suit your needs. It comes with a more modest layer that includes a white cropped tank. It comes with just the jacket, so you can layer it with another top of your choosing, liked the "CroppedTankTop", or no top all. If you are feeling especially risqué, the jacket also comes with a "nipple tape" option. You can wear the Bolero jacket and tape as one "jacket layer" or you can opt to wear the separate "nipple tape tank" layer. I hope that makes sense. *LOL*

If you are feeling a bit too heated, then the "CroppedTankTop" is an awesome choice that can be worn with just about anything. There are several brilliant colors to choose from and and come with a sensual"nippled version", which really doesn't need and explanation. If you are a more modest type, you can wear the "unnippled" version so there is no nipple shadowing. It's just nice and smooth.

Woot! Truth Hawks has released not just one, but 3 new releases again this week! All three styles are loose and flowing, perfect for the hot summer weather. Speaking of hot, Kierra and I decided to take a walk on down to the beach, so we could cool off and have some fun. In the first picture, we are sporting "Josephine". This lovely and braided ponytail is a gorgeous addition to anyone's hair repertoire. The wavy strands are tied into low braid, leaving the front of the hair relaxed and movable." Josephine" compliments just about any summer outfit.

In the second picture, Kierra and I are splashing around while wearing "Roxanna". This style reminds me a lot of "Lourdes", which Truth released a few weeks ago. However, "Roxanna" is quite a bit longer and comes in a streaked a version as well. This is definitely another favorite of mine. I just adore this light and slightly curly hairstyle, that has just enough flex to bounce and flow and just enough sculpt to maintain Truth's amazing signature texture.

In the third and last picture, Kierra and I decided to dry off and show off "Tabatha". The side ponytail that was so huge in 80s is making a big comeback. As usual, Truth's modern interpretation of such retro styles goes unmatched. Once again the hair is left free and lax around the face, but is secured w/ a really cute head band. The head band has 14 color/ texture choices, which include and invisible option. "Tabatha" comes in a streaked version too.

We all love to dress up now and then and I for one am usually found in pants and a t shirt not formal wear, so when I was given some gowns from Morea Decosta, I wasnt sure what to expect. WOW is all that I can say to sum up the amazing gowns that are absolutly stunning with the most amazing prim work that make you feel like a Princess not a Barbie. Pics 1,2 &6 are showing some of the more casual style's available at Morea Style and I was really stunned at the amazing prim work with Morea's outfits and everything comes with resize scripts not that I needed to adjust anything Woot !!. The vibrant colours used in the texture work along with the beautiful flowing prims make these outfits a joy to wear. Life is also made easier for us ladies as most of the outfits come complete with accessories (i.e, bangles, neck pieces, etc...) to complete the look. Once again they all come with resize scripts in case any adjustments are needed.
Have a special formal event to attend or just a romantic date ?? Then look no further then Morea , since the most amazing formal wear is available in the store. The Paloma dress I have to say is absolutley stunning and I really did feel like a Princess when I put it on. I really am not a fan of the overly poofy dresses that are so big you could fit an army under them, but the formal wear at Morea really doesnt fit into this category. The highly detailed prim work along with the fantastic use of textures make the dresses simply breath taking. The Destiny and Meryl outfits are still perfect for any formal event, but are a bit more subtile than the Paloma. They are still stunning nonetheless. I loved the delicate silver trim on the Destiny dress, which makes it appear less flat than so many black dresses can appear. Once again the use of delicate prim work and detailed textures make these outfits come alive and a pure pleasure to wear. I would highly recommend a visit to Morea Style, not only for your everyday wear but evening gowns too. So what are you waiting for? Heres the Limo! Cool is definitely an understatement for Anyalia Pearl's line of clothes that is known as "COOL BEANS". I remember checking out COOL BEANS when it was still a relatively new store and it sure has grown! Not only does it house casual wear (like her "V-Neck" and "Silly" tees), but now more formal pieces, such as the "Dangerously Innocent Mini" and some very sensual lingerie, like Anyalia's "Satin Dreams". Her playful and sexy designs have a youthful feel and are very hip addition to one's warm weather wardrobe. For this review, Anyalia, generously sent us a vast array of her newest creations. Thank you Anyalia! Her designs can be as low key as the "Everyday Jeans" and "Summer Daze Tank" or as glamorous the "Simply Sweet Mini" dress. I just love the effort that she puts into her hand drawn textures, like the super hot "Zoey Vest", which make her designs so life-like and adorable. And adorable would certainly be an understatement for pieces such as her ultra cute "Doll Baby" set and "Pretty In Plaid" dress. These are the quintessential summer staples. Anyalia's luscious colors and crafty prim work make COOL BEANS one of SL's shining stars and also keep my avi looking stylish.

I know this is a bit "off-the-record", but Kierra and I have been a tad behind in our work due to some major SL issues. We have been working our cute little avis butt's off in order to get back on track. So I will let you see the rest for yourself. Just when I think Truth Hawks created every possible style imaginable, he turns around and gives us even more! This week's new releases follow suit of all his recent creations, by mixing a bit of the old with the new. Retro style is very obviously very big at the moment and spans quite a few very different eras as well. In the the first picture, Truth brings back a bit of that bohemian feel with "Iris". This loosely braided hair style is wrapped with the same signature leather and beads (that I loved so much) from Truth's "BoHo" style a couple of weeks ago. And to top that off, the leather and beads have 21 different texture options! You can also choose not wear this option at all.

In the second picture, Kierra and I decided to be a little less country and a bit more rock n' roll with "Rayne". "Rayne" definitely has a bit of that mid 80s "hair band groupie" feel to it. However, Truth manages to glam it up and give it a hot modern look. I just love the razor cut layers that give it a full and whispy texture. Like so many of TRUTH's latest designs, this comes in a myriad of solid colors and their streaked counterparts. As one can clearly see, Kierra and I opted to wear the streaked version, because we got it like that! *LOL* I'm just kidding.... Well, kind off.... *LOL*

In the 3rd and last picture, which is definitely least for obvious reasons, Kierra and I are wearing "Lucille". No, we are not wearing B.B.King's beloved black Gibson guitars, but Truth's awesome new retro 50's style. This particular piece is definitely very reminiscent of Betty Page's trademark hairdo. Btw, we know we look a bit like clowns in this picture. It was a good idea that went terribly wrong, but Truth's hair, and not to mention Kierra's editing skills, was the redeeming factor that made this even remotely postable.

*COCO* was my first favorite shop in SL and also my first taste of real fashion in SL. As a "noob", who was fashion obsessed in RL, I was overjoyed to find that SL actually had a lot of talented and incredible designers on the grid. cocoro Lemon was one the first of such designers, whose creations are on  par or even greater than the RL designers who we see on runways at fashion week. I was hooked! I am  also always closely watching to see what she comes up with next!
Recently, I was lucky enough to receive a few of *COCO*'s latest releases and was more than honored to review them. Thank you cocoro! In the first picture, I am wearing the "OneShoulderPolkaDotsDress". The name basically says it all! I just LOVE this little black dress, whose silk-like texture is so carefully wrinkled. The expertly crafted polka dot chiffon prim just brings this ultra chic number to a whole other level I just adore the subtle baring of the neckline.This dress just screams GLAM!
In the second picture, I am wearing cocoro's "BubbleSkirt" in gold.The intricate pleating mixed with hand painted shadows and highlights make this an extraordinary piece thats has a very exotic feel.This particular skirt is the perfect compliment to an formal or casual wardrobe.
In the third and last picture, I am wearing *COCO*'s "TankTop-with Sunglasses". Once again cocoro uses this amazing black silk texture (as seen in pic 1) with skillfully sculpted wrinkles that she places with an adept precision. The plunging asymmetric neckline is to die for! And when you turn around, the back has a fabulously low scoop cut, which accentuates my curves to a "T"! Absolutely YUMMY!

Dammit our truck broke down we need a cowboy preferable a hot one to come help us poor maidens in distress. With the very low cut back on the Prarie dress showing that adorable tushh of yours lets hope someone comes to rescue us soon Lila or Omgahhhhhh we wont be able to shop !!!!. Anyway enough of the sillyness.... the prairie dress has a lovely detailed bodice which really shapes our womanly curves without showing too much flesh. Then turn around and boom you get the sexy low cut just showing a little but not all leaving something to the imagination. We teamed our outfits up with the White pearl and bow set which are highly detailed and complment the check of the dress perfectly. The 2nd pic Lila is showing an outfit offered as a group gift the skirt unlike many in SL isnt right up the tushy and the lovely lace texture used on the top making it almost sheer but not quite giving it that seductive feel. The Corset dress has a nicely detailed bodice and contrasts beautifully with the simplicty of the skirt. Unfortunalty due to SL being a total pain in the butt I couldnt show a pic of the back as I had some major issues and couldnt take a pic. However it has an burlesque feel to it with the lace up effect and could easily be worn with a pair of jeans Yay !!!

Its been a crazy week for us Demented Divas hence the lack of posts this week. Poor Lila had her sim wrecked :growls: so that took up alot of time to try and fix what some idiot thought would be cool to do. Anyway we are now back on track and have been busy little bees snapping away and shopping our little hearts out. After all that shopping we decided to go chill on the beach wearing the clam diggers and summer henleys from Djinn & Tonic. The detailed pocketing on the pants and the use of textures to create the turn up detail makes these clam diggers a welcome addition to my inventory as I am a huge fan of jeans as Lila will tell you (she wears the pretty dresses Im the pants kinda girl ). The henleys have great texturing to them and show just a subtile amount of cleveage this is a bonus as alot of clothes in SL seem to be all about showing your tic tacs at every possible opportunity. The cute Roxy dress we are showing comes in a sheer and non sheer version, I went for the modest option and let Lila show her sexy flesh in the sheer version :P. With a lovely prim ruffle to the top and skirt this classy little number is a welcome addition to anyone's black dress collection.

Yay! I was so excited when I opened these gorgeous pieces from Exodi! Ryker Beck has a very relaxed, yet beautiful style to her designs. The textures she uses remind me of soft cotton. Anywhere from a soft jersey and whispy linen to a more rough denim. Ryker's clothes just SCREAM summer!

In the first picture, Kierra and I attempting to play a game of basketball, in Exodi's " Imani Tee" and "Frayed Denim Lounge Shorts". Their cool style and vibrant colors just make one want to melt. Ryker's subtle detailing, like the prim bow on the tee and the perfectly drawn wrinkles on the shorts, bring life to her designs.

In the second picture, Kierra and I decided show off our "hard earned" bikini bodies in Ryker's fabulous "Regina" bikini. Her rich use of color and intricate detailing, give these bikinis a very exotic flavor. This has to be my favorite bikini yet! I actually needto go back and buy one in every color! I almost forgot to tell you about the jewelry. Ryker has really outdone herself with her bold, yet somehow delicate beads and metal work. Once again, these have a very Zen and exotic sense about them.

In the the third and last picture, Kierra and I decided to glam it up a bit, in Exodi's "Tea Time Dress". This elegant and ethereal design makes the consummate summer dress! The dress can be worn casual with sandals or as more formal attire when paired with gorgeous jewelry, such as Ryker's exquisite "Pearl Essentials" - necklace and earrings-and "Aubrey" bangles (I am obviously wearing it all). The textures she uses to sculpt her pearls, look like they came right from sea. Just like her clothes, Ryker's jewelry have a natural and delicate feel to them. Exodi's jewelry is clearly one of Sl's top contenders! Thank you Ryker!
