Previews for 'The Platinum Hunt'!

The long awaited 'Platinum Hunt' is starting tomorrow! And let me just say, this is not your ordinary hunt! I was truly amazed at all the incredible designers who are participating in this hunt. I am even more amazed at the quality of their hunt items! They really outdid themselves for this event!I must say this is the best hunt I have seen thus far. The hunt items items are $10L each. But you get amazing prizes such as fatpacks of hair from Exile, Ploom and Magika. Tons of high quality skins and jewelry. Plus, a huge array of fabulous casual and dressy creations! A bargain hunters dream come true! I must apologize for my previews being a bit late. Unfortunately,  I was having major server asset issues and also had to deal with my new laptop overheating already. *Sigh* But all this awesome goodness couldn't keep me down for long and this is definitely one hunt you CAN NOT miss! Danielle Astonia is the owner and creator of 'La Forgia Jewels' and wow what a talent she has in bringing some of the most amazing creations to Second Life. I am always amazed how people can create such small works of art and have the up most respect for designers of high quality jewelry as I know how much effort goes into each piece created and La Forgia designs are simply outstanding.
Lila and I were lucky enough to receive some of Danielle's creations (thank you Danielle!!) and we were both stunned by the superior quality of her work. I loved the delicate roses on the Thalia set and was taken a back by the prim work as each rose and petal is individually made. Giselle is a slightly bolder design but again with the use of stunning prim work and beautiful textures to each stone and gem make this yet another exquisite piece. The Heartbeat and Maka sets are more casual yet are still made to the highest of standard that you will find in each and every piece from La Forgia.
Each set also comes with a resize script to make fitting nice and easy and a vast aray of colour options not only with the gem colours but the metals and leathers giving them so much versatility they really are a perfect addition to anyones inventory. We all love to dress up now and then and I for one am usually found in pants and a t shirt not formal wear, so when I was given some gowns from Morea Decosta, I wasnt sure what to expect. WOW is all that I can say to sum up the amazing gowns that are absolutly stunning with the most amazing prim work that make you feel like a Princess not a Barbie. Pics 1,2 &6 are showing some of the more casual style's available at Morea Style and I was really stunned at the amazing prim work with Morea's outfits and everything comes with resize scripts not that I needed to adjust anything Woot !!. The vibrant colours used in the texture work along with the beautiful flowing prims make these outfits a joy to wear. Life is also made easier for us ladies as most of the outfits come complete with accessories (i.e, bangles, neck pieces, etc...) to complete the look. Once again they all come with resize scripts in case any adjustments are needed.
Have a special formal event to attend or just a romantic date ?? Then look no further then Morea , since the most amazing formal wear is available in the store. The Paloma dress I have to say is absolutley stunning and I really did feel like a Princess when I put it on. I really am not a fan of the overly poofy dresses that are so big you could fit an army under them, but the formal wear at Morea really doesnt fit into this category. The highly detailed prim work along with the fantastic use of textures make the dresses simply breath taking. The Destiny and Meryl outfits are still perfect for any formal event, but are a bit more subtile than the Paloma. They are still stunning nonetheless. I loved the delicate silver trim on the Destiny dress, which makes it appear less flat than so many black dresses can appear. Once again the use of delicate prim work and detailed textures make these outfits come alive and a pure pleasure to wear. I would highly recommend a visit to Morea Style, not only for your everyday wear but evening gowns too. So what are you waiting for? Heres the Limo! Finesmith Jewelry has managed to release another masterpiece, which is also know as the "December Collection". Now I know the name elicits images of snow and ice, but the only ice here are the brilliant diamonds. This carefully crafted set has a bold elegant pattern, which is combined with meticulous metal work. I am thoroughly amazed at how "life-like" these metals look! I do not know how Yula Finesmith manages to pull this off so well, but she does and I adore it. I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed to find that I have bought jewelry, whose golds look yellow and silvers look white!  The same type of fine workmanship holds true for the gems. The diamonds shine brightly without having to resort to bling! I am not even going to go there! *LOL* The other jewels have this same amount of realism as well. Besides the necklaces, it comes with 2 exquisite bracelets and set of stunning earrings. These all come equipped with their own color/ texture change script. You have a choice of 6 different metals and 6 different gem stones, which make this is the ultimate addition to any formal wardrobe. There is also a resizer script included as well. Dammit our truck broke down we need a cowboy preferable a hot one to come help us poor maidens in distress. With the very low cut back on the Prarie dress showing that adorable tushh of yours lets hope someone comes to rescue us soon Lila or Omgahhhhhh we wont be able to shop !!!!. Anyway enough of the sillyness.... the prairie dress has a lovely detailed bodice which really shapes our womanly curves without showing too much flesh. Then turn around and boom you get the sexy low cut just showing a little but not all leaving something to the imagination. We teamed our outfits up with the White pearl and bow set which are highly detailed and complment the check of the dress perfectly. The 2nd pic Lila is showing an outfit offered as a group gift the skirt unlike many in SL isnt right up the tushy and the lovely lace texture used on the top making it almost sheer but not quite giving it that seductive feel. The Corset dress has a nicely detailed bodice and contrasts beautifully with the simplicty of the skirt. Unfortunalty due to SL being a total pain in the butt I couldnt show a pic of the back as I had some major issues and couldnt take a pic. However it has an burlesque feel to it with the lace up effect and could easily be worn with a pair of jeans Yay !!!

The Fashion In Love Hunt kicked off this week so I went along to grab a few previews then actually did the hunt too. Its only 38 stores which suits me as the Hunts with a million stops I tend to give up with. Most prizes were not too hard to find but I would recommend joining the group which you can do at the starting point in case you need help along the way.
