Yay! I always look forward to Truth Hawks new releases every week and I always wonder what he will come up with next! Well, once again, Truth did not disappoint. He came out with 4 fabulous new designs and I am loving all of them. Of course, I had to post 'Lila' first, since that's my name. 'Lila' is short and edgy and very reminiscent of the 80's. Her whispy razor cut layers add a very modern twist to this retro glam style. Oh! And that bow! This is definitely the perfect finishing touch, especially since the bow is also color/ texture change. As you can see, 'Lila' also comes with a streaked version that has 26 colors to choose from.
Next we have 'Georgia'. 'Georgia' is soft innocent, with a bit of sultriness. I adore her loosely tied "pig tails" , which are mixed with a very sexy side swept bang. This is definitely one of my favorite looks. Like 'Lila', 'Georgia' also comes with the same streaking option.
Now we have the 'Lanie's'. Both are long are gorgeous with their hair pulled around one shoulder. The 'Lanie's' have an uber cute color change headband that gives this style that extra something special. The only real difference between the two, is that 'Lanie 2's' hair is pulled back, where 'Lanie' has the lovely bangs. Well, let me stop my rambling, so you can head down to TRUTH and check-out these amazing styles for yourself. Oh and if you haven't been down to 'The Unicef Project', I would get down their now. Truth, as well as many other top designers, have created exclusive piece, where 100% of the proceeds go to helping raise awareness and financial support for the Pakistan Flood Appeal. Just when I think Truth Hawks created every possible style imaginable, he turns around and gives us even more! This week's new releases follow suit of all his recent creations, by mixing a bit of the old with the new. Retro style is very obviously very big at the moment and spans quite a few very different eras as well. In the the first picture, Truth brings back a bit of that bohemian feel with "Iris". This loosely braided hair style is wrapped with the same signature leather and beads (that I loved so much) from Truth's "BoHo" style a couple of weeks ago. And to top that off, the leather and beads have 21 different texture options! You can also choose not wear this option at all.

In the second picture, Kierra and I decided to be a little less country and a bit more rock n' roll with "Rayne". "Rayne" definitely has a bit of that mid 80s "hair band groupie" feel to it. However, Truth manages to glam it up and give it a hot modern look. I just love the razor cut layers that give it a full and whispy texture. Like so many of TRUTH's latest designs, this comes in a myriad of solid colors and their streaked counterparts. As one can clearly see, Kierra and I opted to wear the streaked version, because we got it like that! *LOL* I'm just kidding.... Well, kind off.... *LOL*

In the 3rd and last picture, which is definitely least for obvious reasons, Kierra and I are wearing "Lucille". No, we are not wearing B.B.King's beloved black Gibson guitars, but Truth's awesome new retro 50's style. This particular piece is definitely very reminiscent of Betty Page's trademark hairdo. Btw, we know we look a bit like clowns in this picture. It was a good idea that went terribly wrong, but Truth's hair, and not to mention Kierra's editing skills, was the redeeming factor that made this even remotely postable.

The Blue Room

Can I just tell you how much I love "The Dressing Room"? So when I found out that they were opening a second one, aka "The Dressing Room BLUE", I was overjoyed to say the least. Now I know this all sounds a bit extreme, but anyone can tell you that I have severe sickness when it comes to shopping. I even started blogging to justify this behavior.

The "TDR BLUE" has even more fab designers, who decided to showcase their seriously discounted items specifically for this occasion. What more can a woman ask for?

I think I grabbed one of everything while I was here, but I decided to wear one of my favorite pieces, "Bodysuit de la Ruche", by one of my favorite designers. This gorgeous sea green bodysuit from "Maitreya" is very sexy and ultra glam. I am just amazed at Onyx LeShelle's superb detailing around the bodice and the flirty ruching on the hips. The intricate shading and highlighting gives her textures an extraordinary realism that is very hard to find in SL. I literally did not want to take this off.

I paired the the body suit with "Kookie's", "Icecrem City Wedges". These yummy sky-high wedges can pretty much go with anything in your summer wardrobe. Their opalescent sheen is absolutely beautiful and the shape of the shoe follows the natural curve of your ankle. This way you don't get that "awkward ankle look" that I know has been a problem for so many us.

I could go on for ages about the amazing designs I found in the "BLUE room", but I have to save some room for Kierra, who will be showing off some more finds from here as well.

Just Me is owned by Typha Bailey and its a store that I only discovered recently whilst on a hunt and I sure am pleased I did. Typha has put alot of effort into making her creations look very realistic with added Shadow layer options with most of her pieces to give them that 'alive' look. For those of you that are like me and am awful at re-sizing items Typha has made life simpler by adding a script to do the hard work for us Yay !!. I also really liked the attention to detail both with the textures used which are of a very high quality and the exceptionally good prim work made Just Me clothing a pleasure to wear.
