Cabin Fever

I apologize if this post is late. I have been away dealing with some RL stuff again and I really miss having time for my blog. Anyway, for the last round of The Garden, Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea created this amazing "Yukon Kitchen" set. I adore the retro feel to this charming cabin kitchen. The Kitchen is composed of 5 animated pieces (the kitchen, island and stools) that come with PG or Adult animations.It also comes with some super charming pumpkin and squash shaped tea light holders. I also added some other items from {what next} and [CIRCA] to mix. The cabin is from the talented Corey Edo of Trompe Loeil.

I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now

I'm drawing a blank today and can't think of much to say, which is a rare thing. I guess this post was inspired by Autumn in NY. I was just up in Woodstock visiting friends and family and I had forgotten just how beautiful the Catskills Mountain are in the Fall. The trees have all turned color and it is really an amazing site to see.
I had this gorgeous high-neck sweater and leather pencil skirt from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice that I had been meaning to blog. She created these beautiful Anne separates for October's FaMESHed. They come in a ton of wonderful autumn tones, so I highly suggest you run over to FaMESHed and demo them before the cycle ends in a day or two.

 N-core is also participating in the October's FaMESHed. For this round, Claire Messenger created a pair of seriously sexy MAMBO stilettos. They are to die for, so please make sure you demo these too.

I was recently sent some gorgeous mesh jewelry from new-to me designer Dieguinhooo Resident of [AMNESIA]. I was really impressed with this designer's creations, which are made up of bold and beautifully made statement pieces. For this post, I am wearing their BODYSPIT mesh necklace in gold. Speaking of gorgeous bold jewelry, I also decided to wear these Chic glasses, earrings and ring from Luciayes Magic of Swallow. Ice Cream and Sunshine

I'm sorry that I have not been around much, but I have been away with limited internet access. Not to mention that my laptop has been dying. Anyway, let me make this post quick. LOL. There have been so many releases for Summer and all the SL events this Season. One of favorite new releases is this gorgeous 'Hina Maxi Dress' from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. This is the quintessential Summer maxi dress, which is FaMESHed exclusive this month. It comes in ton of cool and yummy colors too, so be sure to grab it!

If you notice in the background, I am posing in front of another one of Winter Thorn's (of {what next}) awesome new creations for The Garden. It is the 'Sandbridge Ice Cream Cart'! Just touch it and menu with a plethora of mouth watering ice cream flavors comes up for your virtual enjoyment. Btw, the pier I am parading around on is another Garden exclusive from Barnesworth Anubis. It is called the "Seaside Pier" and can be rezzed as whole pier or you can build it yourself. He gives you all the different parts you will need, as well as different sizes too. It can be as small or as big as you desire! The Garden is one event that home decor enthusiasts definitely can not miss!

Summerfest'13 is still going on and there are so many wonderful creators to be found here. -Belleza-  is one of these fabulous creators and they have released the most lovely skin for this event. Her name is "Ashley" and she is a freckle faced Summerfest'13 exclusive. She is available in two beautiful make-ups and all skin tones. You simply must DEMO her now!
Truth Hawks released some more delightful styles for Summer as well. I really adore this long wavy style, called "Wanda". I wish my RL hair stayed this smooth and sleek in the hot and humid weather.

Ok, I am sure notice that the tone, colors and saturation of my images all vary from one picture to next. I was fooling around with different styles, because I was bored. I hope it is not too confusing, but please make sure you check-out all the colors for yourself. 

Caelan Hancroft is quickly becoming one of my most favorite jewelry designers in SL. Her mesh work and textures are just brilliant! I am always so excited to see what she comes up with next! For this post, I am wearing her 'Kasbah' necklace, cuff and rings. One of the things I like best about Caelan's jewels, besides their obvious quality, is that they are texture-change via pop-up menu. This makes it possible to style her creations with just about anything! 'Kasbah' is FaMESHed exclusive this month, so be sure to grab it!

A Day In The Garden

Wow! I've sooooo much stuff to talk about and I don't know where to start first! I guess I will start with this super cute and chic mesh 'flared skirt and floral top'. What makes this set even more special, is because it is a collaboration between two amazing designers, NyuNyu Kimono and Crystalny Resident. It is an event exclusive for Bees Through The Seasons, so you really do not want to miss out on this gorgeous set!
Now, I have been looking for the perfect excuse to wear this fabulous hair and hat style, called "Sabine", which was created by the uber talented Tabata Jewell of Vanity Hair  This style has such a elegant and retro feel, so I really wanted to wear the perfect outfit with it. The hat is texture-change, which definitely helps. Well, my outfit may not be that vintage, but 'Sabine' definitely added some extra glamour and class to my look. I really don't think that I mention enough just how amazing Tabata's hair styles are. Her beautifully crafted hairs cater to so many different styles. From looks that are couture, rebellious, retro or just plain glamorous, Vanity Hair is one place you absolutely must take the time to check out!
Speaking of vintage and retro and style, Winter Thorn of {what next}, designed this incredible 'Garden Cafe Caravan' for The Garden event! I cant think of anything it does not do! Not only does it have this amazing 50's look to it that is all mesh, but it has a tons of animations, cook wear, tasty bits to nibble on and refreshing drinks too. The caravan is also texture-change! If you are looking for anything to cheer-up your home or just a cute gossip nook, this is the perfect center piece.
Izzie Button just recently came out with a gorgeous new skin called Holly. The skin is beautifully rendered with the cutest lips. And, as always, Izzie always gives you tons of options! Eye tattoos, lip tattoos  freckles and cleavage enhancers. Now, you can even purchase an applier HUD for your Slink mesh hands and feet from Izzie. She even sells additional mani and pedis for it too! The Slink avatar enhancement upgrade for their mesh hands and feet, has got to be one of favorite inventions of the year! No more fussing with trying to match skin tones! If you already own Slink mesh hands and feet, just go to the Slink re-delivery terminal and get your free upgrade. Now, if only all of my favorite skin makers created appliers for Slink hands and feet, then I will be in heaven....

Alice In The Garden

The Garden, which is another awesome event from The Liaison Collaborative, is officially here! And if you are a 'Home Decor' addict like myself, or just simply want to update your home, this is one event you do NOT want miss! One of my favorite sets that you can find at The Garden, is this amazing mesh 'Alice Garden Set' from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. Her charming shabby chic style is always beautifully rendered. The set is made up of an unbelievably well detailed hammock, which comes with a TON of poses and props via script. There is also a beautiful pergola, which is adorned with string lights (unfortunately, you can not see it in these pics :/) To add some added lounge-y comfort, there are texture change pillows that you can copy and place to your liking. And, if that is not enough, there are also a bunch of garden games included. There is a croquet set, lawn darts and even horse shoes! So, please do yourself a favor and check out this set at The Garden. Plus, you will see many other fabulous creations there as well.
For such a relaxing day, I chose this yummy crocheted 'Flirtini Dress' from Kallisto Destiny of DRIFT. I have been dying to post this fabulous dress for some time now. It the perfect wardrobe staple to bring you right into summer. The texture of this rigged mesh dress is so well done. Because of this dress's crocheted texture, there are some areas where skin pokes through. So, in order to give this dress a very realistic look, Kalli created it to go with several skin tones! The dress also comes with a texture change HUD, so you have many color options to choose from as well. If you love chic, casual and sexy clothes, DRIFT has it all! There are so many events going on right now, so it can be hard to keep track of all them. One of these events, which I am sure that you do NOT want to miss, is the Cosmetics Fair! aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, just released a bunch of full makeup tattoos, for her latest Margot skin! You can find the actual -Glam Affair- Margot skin in 6 lovely make-ups, as well as a bare skin, at this cycle of Collabor88. Oh! I almost forgot! M4ril1n Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~, just released a line of STUNNING new eyes! They are called 'Galaxy Eyes' and come in several enchanting colors. They also come with 2 wear options - system layer and a mesh attachments. Of course they look outstanding with the mesh attachments mixed with  their necessary system layer. However, if you wish to forgo the mesh, and wear just the system layer, they look just as great! I am very picky about eyes and rarely am separated from my beloved IKON eyes, but these new 'Galaxy Eyes' were just too gorgeous to pass up! Go try on demo now! These are absolutely dreamy.
