Nyu for AVENUE Fashion Week Fall/ Winter 2013 - Part 1

AVENUE Fashion Week is in full swing! SL's best designers across the grid are showing off their Fall/Winter lines on the virtual runways. This year, the super talented NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu is participating in AVENUE Fashion Week. Her looks focus around sleek A line jackets, tailored shorts and shirts, double breasted jackets and collared dresses with clean lines. Her whole collection is absolutely lovely! For this post I will show you two of the looks that you can find at AVENUE's Fashion Week.
The first is beautiful white Slip-on Coat with matching Shorts and Open Front Shirt. Who says that white is not to be worn after Labor Day?

The Second look is a black Double Collared Coat that has a white top built into it...

Both of these looks are put together perfectly and also represent the minimalist style that Nyu is so famous for. There are more gorgeous looks too come, so please stay tuned!

Shyla Diggs of -Belleza- finally released the full Lelila skin line! Let me just say that it was definitely worth the wait! This has to be one of my all time favorite -Belleza- skins. The make-ups are gorgeous! In fact these are some of the best eye make-ups that I have seen on any -Belleza- skin to date! Not to mention the facial features are absolutely lovely with lips to die to for. Leila comes in 12 different make-ups in 6 skin tones. Since it is officially Fall here in SL, you can find wonderful Autumn inspired creations for both women and men. Almost all of these items are priced between 50 and 200L, so this is definitely one event you do not want to miss!

Miss C. Hair at Hair Fair 2013!

DjAngeI Fallen of Mr and Miss C. Hair is probably one of the very few hair designers, who still does not use all mesh. Now you may think this is odd, but there are still many people who like prim hair. Especially, since it is easy to modify and has a nice natural flow. Sure, I have developed a preference for mesh hair, but DjAngel's hair is too lovely pass-up. I am using the ad I created for Miss C. Hair for this post, so I hope that is not cheating. A Hippo Named Wanda

I know, cheesy title! But, I could not resist. Gyorgyna Larnia created the most incredible jewelry set for the April cycle of Collabor88. It has a bit of quirky tribal feel and is adorned with a large hippo. This may sound strange, but it is absolutely fabulous. Each part of the necklace, earrings and ring (which is available at TDR FUSION) are all texture change via HUD. They come in a choice of gold and silver metals too. You need to TP over to Collabor88 , so you can see the whole LaGyo collection! It also includes amazing belts and headpieces in funky colors too!
I am also wearing this gorgeous ArianaCutout dress from Fleshtone. It is a Limited Bazaar exclusive, so I am not sure if it is still available. But it is definitely worth checking-out! Stevenzuuh Gossipgirl really created an outstanding dress that I absolutely adore. I hope he decides to release it more colors.
[PXL Creations] finally released the full line of his beautiful Sophia skin! It was definitely well worth the wait! Sophia is absolutely stunning! Hart Larsson created the most perfect face and body! She comes in 8 gorgeous skin tones and 30 new and updated make-ups, which you can mix and match.You absolutely MUST try on a demo NOW!
Oh! I almost forgot! Baiastice  which was closed for SIM renovations, is open again! The new build is AMAZING! Not to mention, Sissy Pessoa has a ton of new releases to go with the new build as well. I have been sick the past week, so I will try to make this post as short as possible. I have this gorgeous 'Bibbe' dress, which was created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice  It is an Arcade exclusive, so this definitely one item that is well worth trying you gacha luck out on. Sissy also just released these fabulous 'Athena' pumps. What makes them especially cool,  is the fact that they come with and without a sock option. If you choose the sock option, there is a HUD with tons of colors and textures for you too choose from.
Gyorgyna Larnia FINALLY created new full release for Spring that is called, 'Fran'. It is made up beautiful vinyl bow adorned headbands, scarves, belts and bangles. Divinity!

I guess this a 'Look of The Day', which was inspired by Amberly Boccaccio's (of Glam Affair) new mesh 'Divinity Headpiece'. The piece is beautifully made and reminds of something that would adorn the head of a geisha or even the halo over a Saint's head. Either way, it is lovely. You can find it at the latest cycle of L’Accessories. I decided to go with a more Eastern theme for my post. I had this gorgeous mesh 'Ariana' dress from Kunglers. It is has this amazing crocodile skin type texture. Plus, I loved the clean simple lines. I needed a gorgeous light skin, so I chose aida Ewing's  (of Glam Affair) latest 'Laurel' skin. 'Laurel' is an exclusive mini-release, which you can find at this cycle of Collabor88, Aida's skins are always stunning, so of course this one is as well! 'Laurel' comes in 4 amazing make-ups and is a definite MUST have for your skin wardrobe. So, with that said, here are your LMs:

Under The Tuscan Sun

My mind is a bit blank at the moment. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that tomorrow is a Holiday here and it is going to be nuts! With that in mind, let me keep this post short. I am wearing the uber fabulous new 'Suede VCoat', which was created by the seriously talented Jin Elfan of Belgravia (Leverocci). This coat is pure love! The fur trim and sleek suede mesh textures are so divine and perfectly rendered. A definite MUST for your wardrobe! I paired the jacket with these gorgeous new mesh 'Tilda Suede Leggings' from MichaMi. Milla Michinaga has been on roll lately! She has been making the most beautiful mesh creations, which I still have yet to show you. So, please stay tuned for that. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C, has been creating new hair again! It is one of the few brands that has not gone mesh yet, which is nice for change. I am wearing the new 'Bridget' style that has nice windswept look to it.
OMG! I almost forgot! Caelan Hancroft just debuted her new line of stunning mesh jewelry! I am truly in awe of the beautiful details she manages to show off in all her designs. And, to make her jewelry even more special, each carefully crafted piece comes with a texture-change script! This way, you have a multitude of metal options to match whatever you are wearing. For this post, I chose 'Starfish' choker and earrings. Last Day for Hair Fair 2012!

I am so sad that  Hair Fair 2012 is coming to close today :( It is definitely one of the highlights of my SL year. Fortunately, much money was raised raised for 'Wigs for Kids' and all the creators were showing their best styles. Once again, I would like to commend Sasy Scarborough, and her amazing team! And, since it is the last day, it is officially 'Bandana Day'! So, I encourage you go sans hair and wear one of the fabulous designer bandannas (found at the SIM entrances) or just work a bald head. As far as I know over 2 million lindens have been raised for 'Wigs for Kids'. However, that was quoted awhile ago and I know it has to be much higher by now. I will announce the final results after  Hair Fair 2012 has ended.

I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it...

It if finally starting to cool down a bit in my area of the world. So, I still feel like showing as many cool Spring looks as possible. Maya Levane, of Toki-Doki, has been releasing so many wonderful 'pre-Summer' designs. One of these gorgeous creations, would be her 'Naoko' jacket. And guess what? It is not mesh! So it is great for layering and obviously beautifully made. It comes in a bunch of fresh muted colors (such as mint, pink, blue, peach,yellow and magenta) mixed with funky patterns. I just fell in love with these jackets immediately. Now, since I am not the only one who fell in love with Maya's jackets, I had the challenge of trying to create an outfit that wasn't too similar to someone Else's. *LOL* It wasn't too hard, since this jacket can make just about any outfit stand out and look uber chic. I paired it with the stunning 'Debut, Hi-Waist Pants', from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. I have become such a huge fan of her as well. She hasn't been designing in SL that long, but she is quickly making quite a name for herself. I am sure you can clearly see why these are definitely one of my new favorite creations. I also chose a fabulous lace crop top from Camille Bellecoeur of urbana., in order to complete the look.
And of course, I am still covering the Skin Addiction's Skin Showcase. So, I decided to feature a stunning new and exclusive skin from Inka Mexicola of {.essences.}. This exclusive skin is called, 'Moana'. 'Moana' is available in 5 lovely skin tones. Each skin tone comes equipped with a TON of tattoo options! I am exhausted! So, I will have to make this post short and sweet. I have a gorgeous new 'tied knot shirt', created by Maya Levane of Tokidoki. And guess what? It is a Stumblebum exclusive too! Maya's new releases always make me happy. She is so talented and makes the most well crafted pieces. I also am wearing a beautiful new skin, called 'Dailyn' (Hmmm... Wonder who she names this after?), from the super talented Izzie Button. Izzie has been creating skins for awhile now and they just get more amazing with each new series. You simply must try on a demo of this lovely skin. Speaking a brilliant creators, I decided to pair my top, with  these relatively new 'Ankle Length Chinos' from Jin Elfan of Leverocci . La Isla

As the weather gets warmer the urge to bare more skin becomes stronger. I was in very boho-ish/exotic mood, so I decided to wear the 'La Isla' skirt and top from Indyra Originals. Indyra Seigo is known for uber chic ensembles and usually provides her customers with all the accessories for styling an outfit in her store. This is particularly great if you are in a hurry or just do not want to run all over SL looking for the pieces that match.
Anyway, I took the gorgeous batik skirt and paired it with the new *JeSyLiLO* skin, called "Bar", which is absolutely stunning. DjAngel Fallen of Miss C Hair has been creating some really amazing new hair styles lately. So, I chose this new super long and wavy style, called "Star".
