Waking-Up.....

I wanted an easy feel for my LOTD post today. It all started with this gorgeous 'Scarf Belt' that Maylee Oh, from the 'The Secret Store', so generously gave to me. I know I am only wearing one of the colors in this post, but they come in 5 more brilliant colors and also come equipped with two attachment point options. I love when designers do this for us, becuase there is nothing worse (when pressed for time) than having to create a new attachment point for layering.

So, since I had this fabulous 'Scarf Belt', I needed something perfect to go with it. I have had these 'Balcon Lounge Pants' and 'Lollia Top', from {Mon Tissu}, just dying to be blogged. I also just received some new releases from "LoQ Hairs", which you will see in up coming post, and fell in love with the 'Baileys' up-do. And, to top it all off, Bella Bombast, of -=UZURI=-, just sent me some insanely beautiful jewelry. So, I figured I would wear on of her necklaces, which is an exclusive 'group gift',  and bangles to finish the look. I hope you like...

1.1.11 - First Look of The Day and Year ( Feat. Modd. G )

Wow! 2011! We are officially head-on into a new decade. The arrival of this new year brings on A LOT of reflection of years past and what the future holds in store. I am reminded of the people in my life who I am thankful for and gifts that I once may thought of as a burden. Now, much of these realizations are personal, so I won't get it into here. So, I figured I would state quickly where I would like to see this blog going in the new year.
I have come a long way in SL. Not only is is new year for me, but I am now one year old and my blog is almost 8 months old. I came into this knowing nothing and had no idea I would even get this far. I have so many people to thank for this and I think you all know who you are. What I would like to implement into this blog, are more 'LOTD' type styling. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE featuring designer's new releases, especially those that I love and respect. However, I also would like to show more of my own style. LOTD - 12.22.10 - Holiday Mix-up

Whew! This month went WAY too fast! I can't believe that it's only 2 days until Christmas. So, with the Holiday approaching, there are a TON of sales around the grid. 12.20.10 - LOTD Feat. **DP**YumYum

This time of year it is so easy to get caught up in blogging events, hunts and reviews. Don't get me wrong, I love doing that. However, it's always refreshing to do a 'Look Of The Day' featuring clothes that I randomly picked-out. As if I were rummaging through my own closet. 'LOTD's' usually reflect my own true style, which is pretty much the same in SL ans RL. Anyway, earlier today I found myself at **DP**YumYum checking out a hairstyle I saw blogged by Blur Mannequin that I absolutely adored! So, as usual, I never just get the item I want and tp out. I felt that 'inner shopaholic' pull me through the rest of store, spending way too many Lindens again.

LOTD - 12.1.10 feat. Maitreya

Just a quick LOTD..... So, I am in LOVE with these new 'Moxie' shoes created by Onyx LeShelle. Not only is it a cute wedge, but the sexy 'over-the-knee' socks are built in to the shoe too and with color/ texture change options. If that isn't enough, you have three wear options for the socks as well. You can wear an 'ankle' version, the 'over-the-knee' version, or both together. Definitely a MUST have for the winter season. Now, since I am known to create looks around my shoes, this is exactly what I did. While I was at Maitreya, I picked-up a few of these awesome 'Savoir Tops', which I know I will be getting a lot of use out of over the winter. I paired the top with a uber cute crocheted 'Bean Skirt' from CONCRETE FLOWERS. I have had this piece from Lynaja Bade for a little while now and have been looking for an excuse to blog it. My Two LOTD feat. =Razorblade Jacket=

I must apologize in advance for the quality of these photos, since I have been having major problems taking pics in SL as of late. So, with that piece of info out of the way, I decided on two LOTD for Sunday. I had just recently went down to =Razorblade Jacket= to check out Kehl Razor's designs. Now, =Razorblade Jacket=  is a name that I am familiar with and have seen Kehl's pieces on the feeds and from various hunts.. However, it was when Kehl's CEO, Heather Smithson, contacted me that I decided to take a closer look. Thank you Kehl and Heather! There clothes definitely have a 'grungy' and progressive edge. And I really like the fact that they are extremely well rendered and have amazing detail. Plus, they have a lot of new pieces for women. These designs can be layered or worn alone. Azure Electricteeth has to be one of favorite designers on the grid. Her hand drawn textures are simply awe inspiring and basically wearable works of arts. Her carefully crafted prims that blend so seamlessly is not and easy task, but Azure manages to pull this off effortlessly.
