Both Time and Space

This post is basically a continuation of my previous post, IKON Destiny Eyes. I think the title pretty much explains the main focus of the post - IKON's amazing Destiny eyes! For this entry, I wanted to focus on the fashion, which is not apparent in the previous one.
Giz Seorn of GizzA, just recently released this gorgeous mesh 'Jumper'. This creation is beautifully made, as all of Giz's creations are, and has a natural flow to it. I adore the chic, but relaxed feel to this jumper.The perfectly rendered texture adds to it's sense of movement. The 'Jumper' comes in a ton of colors. One especially nice feature of this creation, is that each jumper has a choice of two color options via HUD. I am wearing the brown 'Jumper', but the other HUD option is an Aqua tone. This is a yet another item to put on your Summer inventory list. Please do your self favor and head over to GizzA now and try on demo!

In my previous post, IKON Destiny Eyes, I spoke about all the gorgeous jewelry I was wearing. In these images, you can see some of the additional items I spoke about. I mentioned that AvaGardner Kungler (of Kunglers) recently released a gorgeous new collection, called "Primavera". It is composed of brilliant necklaces and rings that have a very organic feel to them. Think of over-sized and bejeweled wild flowers and fruit flies. I know these may sound like strange elements for a jewelry collection, but they are extremely stunning! For this post, I wearing Ava's 'Khloris' necklace and ring set in golden .

I wanted to add some other jewels, so I chose creations from Caelan Hancroft's (of Cae) divine new mesh collection called "Kasbah"! I love the exotic feel of this lovely collection. Since I was already wearing Ava's (of Kunglers) exquisite 'Khloris' necklace and ring, I chose to wear Cae's 'Kasbah' earrings, ring and bracelet for a sense of completion.Yes! I love accessories! Especially jewelry! Just so you know, the 'Kasbah' set is texture change (via script), which is always a bonus! The new round of The Arcade Gacha Event has started and is well underway! Even though this is not an Arcade inspired post - Trust me, I have plenty of Arcade inspired blog entries and images on their way- I figured I would mention the wonderful creations I'm wearing from this incredible event anyway! I am wearing a 'Triple Pyramid Studs Leather Cuff' in nude that is from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. I am in love with these cuffs! They are edgy and classic at the same time. I am also wearing (Well, more like holding) another creation from Giz Seorn of Gizza. It is her 'Summer Bag' in daisy. Both of these accessories are most definitely worth trying your luck on. No matter which item(s) you win from the gacha machine, they are all gorgeous. IKON Destiny Eyes!

Due to the fact that I am slowest blogger on Earth, I don't usually do full reviews of anything. This is not because I do not want to, but because it literally takes me days to finish. LOL! However, I have done at least one full review of the items I love at one point or another. So, a review for IKON eyes was long overdue! Ikon Innovia won me over with his eyes back when they were called FASHISM. From the first time I tried them on, I never took them off! I am not a blogger who is loyal to just one designer, since I have so many favorites. However, 9 times out of 10, you can bet I am wearing Ikon's eyes. Actually, the percentage is higher then that. I have only made a few exceptions in the past, when it comes to blogging other eyes.
 It is really hard to choose a favorite collection or color of Ikon's eyes. Although, I have to admit both collections he has made for the 'The Boutique' event, are definitely in my top 5. These would include his 'Ardent' eyes and 'Destiny' eyes (pictured below). The 'Destiny' eyes are a Boutique exclusive this month. So you have until the 10th of June to grab them. If by chance you miss this cycle, they will be in the IKON mainstore after it is over.

Believe it or not, there are actually MORE eye colors to be found in this collection. I tried to show the best mixture of all the different hues available. These eyes are unbelievably realistic looking. Ikon has this amazing talent of mixing the perfect shades together. Whether they eyes are a pure color or a mix of contrasting tones, they are stunning! I also adore his reflection work in the cornea, which further enhances their sense of realism. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to pick a favorite shade! It is a good thing I am not loyal to just one eye color. Well, maybe my life would be a little easier. But, I have to admit that I am partial to the 'peach' and 'storm'. But that is just today, it will probably change in a few days. LOL. So, what are you waiting for? Go to 'The Boutique' and try on so demos! You will fall in love! To top off my eye post, I chose some gorgeous new releases to show-off. I am wearing Izzie Button's  dazzling latest release. It is her 'Irene' skin. She comes in a zillion skin tones. Each skin tone comes with the following options: a mod/copy shape (I'm  am wearing my own), 11 eye tattoos, 12 lip tattoos, an eyeliner tattoo, a freckles tattoo, gloves for prim nails, a mole tattoo, 4 brow colors (embedded in skin), a cleavage option (embedded in skin) and a brow shape. Irene is beautifully rendered and comes with a ton of options. Izzie really caters to her customer's needs and for a very nice price! Please try on a demo ASAP!

Truth Hawks is back on track and creating more fabulous hair! I love this new short and sassy style, called "Charlize". This is the perfect style for the warmer weather that has come our way. Please be sure to TP over to the new TRUTH store and try on his latest releases!

Last, but definitely least! AvaGardner Kungler recently released a gorgeous new collection, called "Primavera". It is made up of brilliant necklaces and rings that have a very organic feel to them. I know this set looks familiar if you read my previous post, 'Poppies'. As promised, I created a post to focus on the set, which is part of an incredible event and cause - The 6th Annual SL Home and Garden Expo! Not all items in the post are part of the event, just the Garden Cafe Tables from Winter Thorn and FrankLee Anatra of {what next}. The Sea Hole is Closing It's Doors For Good Tomorrow

I was very sad to hear that the extremely talented and innovative Drinkinstein Sorbet will be closing the doors to her seriously awesome store, The Sea Hole.

As of Monday, May 13th , 2013 I have officially decided to retire from doing business in Second Life.
As many others before me, this course was chosen as a means to spend more time on Real Life adventures.

Its Been my pleasure to have had the privilege of knowing so many brilliantly talented friends and business associates throughout the last five years as the creator of The Sea Hole, and Collabor88. The colorful and boundless world of SL has forever changed my perspective on artistry, and imagination. The people Ive been so lucky to have known and befriended will always be remembered with fondness and warmth.
The Customers who have supported me and my various projects with their patronage and kindness will never ever be rivaled even on the best days in RL.

Drinkinstein Sorbet

When I think of original creators, Drink is one of the first designers who come to mind. I have always been in awe of her ingenious hand drawn textures and stunning designs. She is also the brain child behind the super successful event, Collabor88. Thankfully, she has an amazing staff that will keep this event going strong. Drink and her fabulous designs will me missed tremendously. So, please make sure you run down to The Sea Hole and grab all your favorite creations before the doors close on May 31st. Just so you know, all items are just 50L! Thank you Drink,  for all the beauty and joy you brought to my SL. I wish you all the best in your new endeavors.

I must be the slowest freaking blogger on EARTH! This is an ordinary post. In other words, it is not something that tests the limits of my capabilities.Well, except for the SL glitches. So, why did this post take me 3 days to finish? It makes no sense! Yes, I fuss with styling and trying to see what elements work and don't work. Then I try to find poses that compliment the outfit and scene without being too boring. However, unless I want to spend more time editing, I choose not to use poses that tend to be more interesting. Of course the next step is finding the right angle and making sure every prim (well mesh creation) is in its proper place. Windlight is always an important step too, since it sets the mood and highlights the image. And last but not least, the editing process... I don't know why I am telling you all this. I guess I feel inferior and frustrated, since I see other bloggers complete this whole process quickly, efficiently and much prettier than I do. LOL! So, suffice it to say, I am tired today. I'll stop yapping and talk clothes.

This month's FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. So please hurry-up and grab anything you may have missed. Jin Elfan of Belgravia, just released these perfectly sleek 'Patent 120'heels'. They are configured to be worn with your Slink medium high mesh feet, which is another reason why I love them. The combination is perfect, especially with Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system. The heels come in vast array of alluring colors. They also come in a spiked version too! Unfortunately, the Belgravia/Leverocci main store is not up at the moment, but you can grab them on Marketplace - the link is below. 

Speaking of Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system, Izzie Button just released 'Sock Appliers' to go with it! They come in a lots of colors, neutrals (basics) and colors, and are applied via HUD. They are meant to be worn with Izzie's 'sheer tights'. As you can see, the look is phenomenal. I do hope Izzie releases more of these tights and socks (hint hint).

Glam Affair's long awaited 'Cleo' skin line is FINALLY here! Yay! Cleo is absolutely STUNNING! Plus, she comes with a zillion wear options! She comes in 12 beautiful make-ups and a 'clean' skin. She also comes in 6 gorgeous skin tones. Each make-up comes with a choice of 6 brow colors (black, dark brown, light brown, dark blonde, light blonde and red), which are embedded into the the skin. Now here are all the options (I think): 2 lash tattoos, a definition and skin pore tattoo, 3 freckle tattoos, 3 nose tattoos, 3 glossy lip tattoos, a no gloss lip tattoo and 5 brow shapes! I seriously can not imagine asking for or needing anything more! aida Ewing really did an amazing job and definitely listens to her customer's needs. Not to mention, caters to them too. Gia Pawpad, of "LoQ Hair" has been releasing the most fabulous new mesh hairstyles lately! I am in love with this new style called, "Beer". I also love the fact that she names all her hairstyles after drinks! Beer is so nicely rendered with yummy textures. I adore the side part and swept bang. The relaxed waves make this one smart style. This is another creation that you have to demo. Be sure to check out Gia's other new styles too!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, recently created this exclusive and divine 'Poppy headpiece' for the FINESMITH SUMMER BOUTIQUE! It is available with red, yellow or blue poppies and just 200L per hat. I don't  think I want to to ever to take it off. LOL!

I am going to try to make this post brief. I have more awesome recent releases to show you  for the Summer season. I am wearing this gorgeous new mesh 'Structured Blazer' from the Maylee Oh of  The Secret Store. This jacket is perfectly designed with two cuff options. You can wear it with the cuff of the jacket sleeve showing or without. It is also also lined with a lovely floral print. I paired this jacket with two more or my favorite recent creations. Harry Hyx of ISON, just released this sleek and sexy mesh 'Slit Pencil Skirt'. I felt that the clean lines of this skirt mixed very nicely with the structured feel of this jacket. The skirt is available in a ton of colors, both bright and neutral, and is a also another MUST have for your wardrobe. 

I needed the perfect top to go with these impressive pieces, so I chose this fabulous mesh 'Kasia Studded Top', created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. I felt it followed suit with my theme of streamlined and modern designs. The 'Kasia Top' is available in two textures - studded and pinstriped. Drifting Away

Summer is almost officially here, well not technically... However, this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend in the States, which kicks of the start of Summer - unofficially. Officially or unofficially, it is definitely feels like the Summer. I had been staring at this awesome kiddie pool from Cheeky Pea, called the "Cassie Pool". It is part of the 'Cassie's Backyard Barbecue' set, which is Cheeky Pea's FaMESHed exclusive this month. If you read my blog at all, you have seen me blog all or parts of this amazing set before. It is definitely a Summer must have for your home, especially if you love entertaining friends!

Now that warmer weather is here, you simply must find a gorgeous bikini to wear. Kallisto Destiny of  DRIFT, created a fabulous line of mesh bikinis in different textures and colors. The one I am wearing is called the"Tini Kini2" in leather. One feature that I really adore about this creation, is that is comes with a color change HUD. This way you have several color options to style this super sexy bikini with! I suggest going over to DRIFT now and try on a demo!

I am really impressed with all the new hair releases lately! There are so many it is hard to keep up. LOL!One of my absolute favorite styles is one of Kavar Cleanslate's (of Exile) recent releases, called "Independent Woman". The long full locks, which are expertly pulled back into a semi ponytail, are just too luscious for words! You must TP over to Exile and check-out all of Kavar's latest releases.

For last month's cycle of Collabor88, Hart Larsson of PXL Creations, introduced a new skin called "JADE". JADE has to be my favorite PXL skin to date! Hart is still in the works of perfecting JADE for the full release, but you can see she is perfect already. Just so you know, this is a WIP (work in progress) skin and in it's "bare" state. I am wearing the sunkissed tone too. If you have worn (or at least demoed) PXL Skins in the past, you will notice that she is quite different from Hart's previous skins. The lips are more glossy and less matte, the shading is not as intense in the face and she also has a more youthful appearance. At the same time, she still maintains all the lovely and realistic body definition that PXL is known for. Anyway, I am really excited for the full release of this beautiful skin! 

Oh! I almost forgot! I am wearing the most adorable necklace, called "Mia". She was created by the talented  Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo and it is a Collabor88 exclusive. Each part of the necklace is texture change via a HUD and comes with matching earrings! You can find the matching ring and headband in the LaGyo mainstore as well!

Fear of Falling

I am really tired today, so I will try to make this post as short as possible. Although that rarely happens. I am trying really hard to catch-up, or at least try to regain my place in the blogosphere. If you follow my blog my at all, it is apparent my posts dropped dramatically. Unfortunately, I have been  suffering from a illness that took a bit of a turn for the worst. Obviously, RL comes first and SL is just an afterthought. But, as blogger who has had wonderful designers that put their faith in me, I can't help but feel responsibility to them. Anyway, I don't want to get to deep into this topic. I just want to talk about clothes!

I have been posting a ton of FaMESHed exclusives lately, because it is the 1 year anniversary! One of my favorite creations that you will find at this event, is the 'Karen' dress and scarf from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. The 'Karen Dress' is simply to die for! I love the delicate lines, which are cinched with a bold leather belt. The contrast of textures really make this mesh dress stand out. There is also the 'Karen Scarf' that can be worn with the dress or anything else in your wardrobe. It is the perfect Spring accessory. The dress and scarf come in a ton of lovely colors and patterns. Be sure to try on a demo ASAP!

Jin Elfan of Belgravia/Leverocci, just released these stunning new 'Paradise Sandals'. They are meant to be worn with the Slink mesh med height feet, which I love. It also gave me an excuse to flaunt all the new avatar enhancement appliers that were created for these mesh appendages. Unfortunately, the Belgravia/Leverocci mainstore is closed for right now. But you can purchase the sandals, or any of Jin's other amazing items, on Marketplace. Just so you know, the Slink feet are sold separately and at the Slink mainstore.

I chose to pair the 'Karen' dress with Harry Hyx's ( ISON) new mesh 'Bubble Bomber'. I adore the rich leather texture of this brilliant new jacket. This fabulous piece will bring you all the way into Fall. Not to mention, it layers very well with most mesh items. This is yet another creation you must demo right away!

aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, released more of the 'Margot' skin line as a May Collabor88 exclusive! She is available in two skin tones - India and Europa. She also comes in 5 gorgeous make-ups and a 'clean' option too! aida offers several new brow colors as well - blonde, red, dark brown, light brown and black. TRUTH HAWKS finally released a ton of new hair styles and new textures as well. The new textures and colors are better than ever. Truth really did an fantastic job! The only thing is, I will miss the old hair color names, since they have numerical names now. But, it was definitely worth the sacrifice  Try on some demos now!
