Drifting Away

Summer is almost officially here, well not technically... However, this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend in the States, which kicks of the start of Summer - unofficially. Officially or unofficially, it is definitely feels like the Summer. I had been staring at this awesome kiddie pool from Cheeky Pea, called the "Cassie Pool". It is part of the 'Cassie's Backyard Barbecue' set, which is Cheeky Pea's FaMESHed exclusive this month. If you read my blog at all, you have seen me blog all or parts of this amazing set before. It is definitely a Summer must have for your home, especially if you love entertaining friends!

Now that warmer weather is here, you simply must find a gorgeous bikini to wear. Kallisto Destiny of  DRIFT, created a fabulous line of mesh bikinis in different textures and colors. The one I am wearing is called the"Tini Kini2" in leather. One feature that I really adore about this creation, is that is comes with a color change HUD. This way you have several color options to style this super sexy bikini with! I suggest going over to DRIFT now and try on a demo!

I am really impressed with all the new hair releases lately! There are so many it is hard to keep up. LOL!One of my absolute favorite styles is one of Kavar Cleanslate's (of Exile) recent releases, called "Independent Woman". The long full locks, which are expertly pulled back into a semi ponytail, are just too luscious for words! You must TP over to Exile and check-out all of Kavar's latest releases.

For last month's cycle of Collabor88, Hart Larsson of PXL Creations, introduced a new skin called "JADE". JADE has to be my favorite PXL skin to date! Hart is still in the works of perfecting JADE for the full release, but you can see she is perfect already. Just so you know, this is a WIP (work in progress) skin and in it's "bare" state. I am wearing the sunkissed tone too. If you have worn (or at least demoed) PXL Skins in the past, you will notice that she is quite different from Hart's previous skins. The lips are more glossy and less matte, the shading is not as intense in the face and she also has a more youthful appearance. At the same time, she still maintains all the lovely and realistic body definition that PXL is known for. Anyway, I am really excited for the full release of this beautiful skin! 

Oh! I almost forgot! I am wearing the most adorable necklace, called "Mia". She was created by the talented  Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo and it is a Collabor88 exclusive. Each part of the necklace is texture change via a HUD and comes with matching earrings! You can find the matching ring and headband in the LaGyo mainstore as well!

MOLiCHiNO for AVENUE Spring/Summer Fashion Week Part 1

Aurelia Chauveau of  MOLiCHiNO s definitely on my list of  'SL's Top 10' designers. She has managed to consistently win me over with her perfectly rendered mesh and sleek designs. So, suffice it to say, I was ecstatic to find out that she was participating in 'AVENUE's Spring/Summer Fashion Week 2013'. For this post, I chose her gorgeous 'lemur gown'. It reminds me a lot of Valentino and you can not help but feel amazing when wearing it. I definitely recommend trying on demo and visiting this awesome event!
I am also wearing a brand new skin from PXL Creations, called "Jade". Unfortunately, since it is an April Collabor88 exclusive, it will not be available until to April 8th. I thought Sophia was my favorite PXL skin, but Jade has truly won me over. I love the youthful face that is reminiscent of Sophia and the perfect lips. The lips have a similar feel to GAIA, which I adore, but Hart created a whole new texture and shape for them. The body, as always, is perfectly rendered. Jade will be available in 4 different make-ups in the NAT(ural) skin tone. I am sure there will be more tones and make-ups to come, when Collabor88 is over (*hint hint*). Three Years Down!

I would like to wish everyone a VERY happy and healthy New Year! Not only is it a new year, but I am now officially three years old in SL years. Yes, it was rez day. I really never thought I would still be here, especially blogging. When I started this blog, it was purely a justification for my new found SL shopping addiction. It is bad enough I shop too much in RL, but SL just made it that much worse! LOL! Basically, I thought I would posts a few looks every now and then for my own personal 'Look Book', but never in my wildest dreams did I think anything would come it! If I seriously thought anyone would actually read or look at my blog, I would have given it a different name. To be honest, I still do not know if anything has come of it or if anyone really reads it. LOL! Well, that is not entirely true. I have met so many amazing people via my career as an SL blogger. I would have never met my closest SL friends, if it were not for this blog. Anyway, I am not sure where I am going with all of this, but I just want to thank all of my closest friends (you know who you are) for putting up with me for all this time. New Belgravia and Levoracci Releases!

Yay! Jin Elfan, who is the very talented creator behind both Leverocci and Belgravia, has just released another AMAZING collection! She is definitely the queen of mesh. Her all original and high fashion mesh creations make her one of the best designers on grid. So, enough butt kissing.... LOL! Actually, I truly am in awe of all her creations and always look forward to every release. This collection is full of mix and match separates, which include sexy pencil skirts, short belted jackets and cozy turtleneck sweaters. For this post, I chose to wear her new 'Alice Jacket', which has a very sexy neckline and is belted around the waist. It also comes with a texture-change HUD, so you can change the metals and the color of the sleeves, belt and cuffs. I paired this jacket with her fabulous new 'Seceratry Skirt'. It is the perfect pencil skirt and a definite wardrobe staple. Jin also released these beautiful 'Flat Iron' heels and 'Messenger Bag'. I am in LOVE! Although The Weather Outside Is Frightful....

I really should be singing 'White Chirstmas', because for the first time in 'I-don't- know-how-many-years', it snowed for Christmas. I have been seeing tons of amazing Holiday exclusives that have been released by my favorite designers. So, it was ridiculously hard to choose what to wear for my Holiday post. Maylee Oh, of The Secret Store, won me over with her super cute and beautiful Holiday exclusive items, which are available for around 45L. I mean, how can you NOT love this uber adorable 'Oh Deer' sweater?! The dear wearing vintage glasses is just too good to pass up! This 'crepe skater skirt' is so lovely, feminine and can definitely be worn all year round. And, of course, I LOVE these cherry polka dot 'Cristmas Tights'. To complete this Holiday look, I chose one of my favorite new hair styles from ::Exile::, called 'Raspberry Beret'. However, despite this style's namesake, the beret can be changed to almost any color via texture-change script.

The With Love Hunt has finally started and is going strong! I can't believe this is my 3rd Season participating in this hunt! To be honest, I never thought my blog would last this long! LOL! A blog that is 2.7 years old, is ancient by SL standards. As usual, Keira Seerose and her amazing team over at CHIC Management, has managed to get the best designers (both old and new) to participate in this event. Each hunt item is 10L, but you are getting an item that is valued at 300L or more. In my opnion, her hunts have had some of the best quality items thus far. So, this is definitely one hunt you do NOT want to miss!
For this post, I am featuring a gorgeous [PXL] skin exclusive, called 'GAIA Vintage Love'. GAIA is one of my favorite skin lines to date, so I was super excited that this brilliant version was a part of the hunt. I am also wearing a seriously beautiful necklace from Maxi Gossamer, which is a hunt item as well.This 'Paris Black Diamond - Choker' in gold is so stunning and made perfectly. The choker in gold alone, would make for a fabulous hunt item. But the whole gift includes this necklace in several different lengths and is made in both gold and silver! You have got to LOVE that!

I am so tired, so I will keep this post brief. Well, I will attempt to. Giz Seorn just recently released this fabulous short mesh 'Padded Coat'. I just adore the way it flares out. Such A Perfect Day

OMG! There are soooo many gorgeous new collections that are being released by my favorite SL designers! It is becoming difficult keep up! LOL! There are so many beautiful creations and I want to blog them all before next winter! Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is one such designers who has been creating so much fabulousity. Her new all mesh Winter collection is full of cozy wools, soft suede's and sleek leathers.Her mesh textures are some of the best in SL. Plus, her lastest creations resemble my RL Winter wardrobe. Winter In The Sun

Hart Larsson of PXL Skins has created yet another amazing new skin! This new skin is called, 'Sophia'. This is most definitely my favorite PXL skin to date! All of Hart's skins are lovely, but something about Sophia's lips, make this skin perfect for me. But, before you go running to try on some demos, I must remind you that 'Sophia' is not yet available in the store and this is a  just tiny teaser. However, 'Sophia' will be making her debut with a mini release at the 'Around The World' event, which starts on the 15th of November! This is definitely one release, you do not want to miss!
Oh! Speaking of awesome new releases, Ikon Innovia just released a stunning new line of eyes! They are called 'Eternal Eyes'. As you probably know, all I wear are Ikon's eyes. So, I am always excited when he releases new ones. I think these are his best yet! Ikon's eyes always look so realistic and brilliant. Darkest Before The Dawn

Once again, I am posting an event exclusive that is only available for a few more hours. Like my previous post, I had planned to have this blogged a couple days ago. But amidst all the Superstorm Sandy chaos, I lost power and cable. So, was not able to do as planned. Anyway, I adored this 'Costume Ball' exclusive from designer Zoey Gabardini of Paper.Doll. It is called 'Magic V2' and makes for a very sexy high priestess! It is an ensemble that comes with gloves, a bustier, a skirt and even blue flames that flow out of your hands (I did not wear these for this post though). The 'Costume Ball' has some really amazing creations from SL best and brightest, so I encourage you to RUN!
I chose to compliment this outfit with one of PXL's 'Halloween Gacha' skins. I am not sure if they are still out, but I think they are. Hart Larsson created the most amazing faces and make-ups for this series. They are all absolutely brilliant and one of the best Halloween skins I have ever seen. October Rain

I need to make this post quick! I wanted to have all this posted yesterday, but my connection was terrible and mesh did not want to rez for me. Yah, I know, what is new :/? But, seriously, how can I call my cable company and say, "Ummm... Can you find out what is wrong with my connection, because my mesh won't rez in SL?" Anyway, it is the end of the October cycle of FaMESHed. I had quite a few more items to show you, such as the AMAZING mesh skybox from Leverocci , cute mesh dresses and clogs from FANATIK, and some gorgeous separates from MOLiCHiNO . However, because I have had such and insane month with RL family stuff, RL health issues and a shotty connection, I was not able to get to it all. On a brighter note, I managed to snap some pics of these seriously chic 'Trench Coats' from NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. They are available in leather or wool textures and come in a ton of beautiful Fall colors. She even added a pink wool coat for all you pink lovers out there. So, RUNNNNNN to FaMESHed, before this cycle ends tomorrow!
Kavar Cleanslate of ::Exile::  has been releasing like a mad man again! I am so thankful for this too! He really has created some fabulous MUST have hairstyles. But then again, he always does just that. One of my new favorite styles is called, 'Wild Horses'. I simply adore how he names his hair and this 'do' is gorgeous. Autumn in New York

Autumn is at it's peak in NYC. This is truly the most beautiful time of year of in this area of the US. The cool air mixed with the vivid colors of the turning trees, signals a time where life starts to slow down a bit. Just before the wake of Holiday season. Not unlike the calm before a storm quickly approaches the sky. The feeling is more relaxed and rested, which is often reflected in the way we dress. Or at least the way I dress. It is finally cool enough to wear my favorite jeans and softest sweaters. My sleekest boots are also in order, as well as my other essential accessories. I have always strictly followed the rule that accessories make an outfit. You can turn ordinary jeans and a 'T' into a uber chic look quite easily. It is just a matter of wearing the right shoes, belt and handbag. Of course, nice jewelry never hurts either. I don't know why I am rambling like this, but it is my blog. Plus, not to many people actually read what people write anyway. It's the images that speak a thousand words.
So, how does this translate in SL? Well, I got these fabulous new 'Rise Skinny Jeans' from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store . I should have really waited to wear these jeans with a shorter top or bustier, in order to show of the gorgeous high waist and detailing. But, I just could not wait to wear them! I will definitely blog them again, so I can show it off. I paired them with my new favorite 'goto'
'Merino Wool Sweater' from Jin Elfan of Leverocci. This mesh sweater is just so yummy and gorgeous. It is the quintessential Fall sweater, at least in my opinion. I also wore the new '
Altai Boots' from Leverocci. These are the most fabulous mesh ankle boots of the Season. I love the beautifully textured leather that is adorned with perfectly polished buckles, Just so you know, the buckles and soles are color changeable via a texture-change HUD. I definitely LOVE that!
