Lucy In The Sky

I am still sooooooo behind! So many events, so little time! I had been in a bit of rut when it comes to ideas for my posts. I had this gorgeous, as well as brilliant, mesh 'E-Motion Dress' from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store, All of Maylee's creations are incredible, but this dress... Well, let's just say I was blown away. It has this gorgeous cumulus cloud design, which actually rotates within the dress! The dress is Designers United 5 event exclusive, so you should grab it before this event over on October 4th. I really wanted to come up with a great idea for this post, in order to show off just how wonderful it is .Unfortunately, static images can't show you it's beautiful animation details. Luckily, Nati Williams, who is one of my favorite bloggers and {Imeka!} pose maker, made a video featuring this dress and a couple other items from Designers United 5. I search of ideas for this post, I went to the Designers United 5 event. OMG! It is seriously AMAZING! The theme for this year's Designer United, is 'Surrealism'. The combination of an awesome theme, mixed with my favorites designers (almost all ), made for the most fabulous creations. It is needless for me to say that with the onset of mesh almost any idea is possible. I think I bought almost everything there. All the items there are exclusive ( reasonably priced too), which means that they will not be sold after the event is over. I know all events say their items are exclusive and then you see them in the designer's mainstore after it is over (which is great for bloggers who are behind). However, these items are truly unique event exclusives and you definitely do not want to miss the chance to buy them!

The Trapeze Telephone Pole is a Designers United 5 exclusive from Nuwiggles. It can be used a pose prop or just decor for your home. I like using it for both. If you are a photographer, I really suggest buying this prop. It has been the source of  inspiration for so many great pictures. 

The uber cute Mochi Bunny that I am wearing was created by Anya Ohmai of !Ohmai for Designers United 5. The 'Mochi Bunnies' are actuality part of a set that comes with bunnies that you can wear and rez. Anya Ohmai always comes up with such a adorable and lovely ideas. 

The skin that I am wearing is from one of the gorgeous news skin lines by aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-, called 'Lucy'. I am in LOVE with this skin! aida created such beautiful make-ups for Lucy and also tons of options! There are a total of 12 make-ups (as well as a bare make-up) that are available in 6 skin tones. Each make-up comes with 3 nose options (on a tattoo layer), a matte lip tattoo, 3 glossy lip tattoos, freckle tattoos, and 7 brow colors (embedded into the skin). This skin will fit just about any shape, so go and try on a demo ASAP!

Kavar Cleanslate of  :Exile::, created this seriously cute hair style for the Attic event. I love the whimsical girly feel to this hair, which also suits this dress perfectly! It comes with the texture change flowers that I am wearing too! I think tomorrow is the last day for this round of My Attic, so RUN and grab it!

My eye guy, Ikon Innovia came out with a new style of eyes for this round of the The Boutique! They are called 'Perspective Eyes' and are obviously stunning! They also come in just about every color imaginable. If you have not tried Ikon's eyes yet, I highly recommend that you do. I swear that you will never want to wear any other eyes again!

rockstarroo GossipGirl of [Atooly], created the adorable 'Lady Penguin Necklace' and the dainty 'Heart Charm Necklace' that I am wearing. ~Tableau Vivant~ at Hair Fair 2013

I am so sad to say that Hair Fair 2013 is coming to an end in day and half (July 28th at 11:59 SLT). It is one of my most favorite SL events of the year, as well as one my most favorite fundraisers. This year's Hair Fair has so many new creators and so many amazing hair styles! The one huge trend that I have noticed, especially with most hair being all mesh now, are color change HUDs. This is not a new concept, but I really love that so many designers are using them. Not only do they make it easy to change your hair color, but they save major space in my inventory. Many HUDs also allow for different streaking options too.
Once of my favorite new hair designers, is M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~ .  M4ri1yn is definitely not new to content creation, but hair is a recent addition to his already extensive resume. I am seriously impressed with all of the mesh hair styles that he brought to the fair. His textures are fabulous and he creates the most lovely "dos". I also love that all his hair changes color via HUD.

The above pictures include a examples of the 4 hair brilliant styles that you find from ~Tableau Vivant~  at Hair Fair 2013. He is also giving out a beautiful free gift hair too, which I forgot to show. So, I guess you will just have to go there and see it for yourself ;-).

Btw, the gorgeous skin I am wearing is from M4ri1yn's uber talented partner in crime, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- . The skin is called "Katya" and is a Boutique exclusive. It comes in 5 yummy make-ups in the America skin tone. Each skin comes with 7 different brow colors (Yes, 7!) and a lip gloss remover tattoo. 

Speaking of talented designers, this stunning 'Elsa Ruffle Shirt' that I am wearing, was created by Maylee Oh of The Secret Store. The top is a July Collabor88 exclusive and is available in several divine floral prints.

I know that I have been teasing you with previews of Hart Larsson's new skin line, "JADE". Well, he has finally finished "JADE" and she is now available at the PXL mainstore! JADE comes with a plethora of wear options that I feel will please any skin connoisseur. First off, she is available in 8 gorgeous skin tones (pale, natural, light tan, sunkissed, olive, tan, dark and ebony. Each skin comes in 15 lip colors with 3 base options (regular, enhanced cheekbones and freckles) that are embedded into the skin. It also comes with a multitude of tattoo layers, which you can mix and match with ease. These layers include: 5 brow colors, a brow eraser, 3 cleavage sizes, 3 mole options, 3 lips glosses and also a glove layer for prim nails. PXL also makes appliers in all tones for Slink mesh hands and feet, as well as Lola and Lush mesh breasts. You simply must try on a demo ASAP!

Exile for 'Hair Fair' 2013 and 'Boutique' exclusives!

Hair Fair 2013 is going strong. It is definitely one of my favorite events of the year. Not to mention, donations from all event exclusives and 100% of all bandanna sales, go to Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is a very special and favored charity of mine. It provides children, who are already having a tough time fighting cancer, regain some of the self-esteem due to the hair loss from their intense cancer treatments. My allergies have been hitting me in an awful way. So, suffice it to say, my brain is not working too well. This post will probably be short and not as descriptive as usual. Please accept my sincere apologizes.
 Ahhhh! There is so much going on and may events ending either today or tomorrow.
Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, created the cutest mesh 'Lari' halter tops, as well as these lovely 'Didi' skirts. Both pieces are extremely versatile. They can be worn together or with anything other matching separates in your Spring/ Summer wardrobe. The halters and skirts come in ton of colors and patterns and are a 'Boutique' exclusive. The Boutique will be ending tomorrow (Monday) at 11:59 SLT, so make sure you hurry-up and grab these fab creations before they are gone!

It is the first full weekend of the month, which means it is time for Belleza's Best Buys!!! Tricky Boucher really outdid himself with 3 stunning versions of Ava! She is available in all skin tones and for a VERY nice price. Best Buys ends tonight at 11:59 SLT, so RUN and demo these gorgeous skins!

Truth Hawks released more amazing new styles this weekend. I am in LOVE with this new long sultry style, called "Candy". Her waves fall so perfectly and seductively.It is a definitely MUST have!

I also wanted to mention that Dave Freeman of Just Designs (aka JD just released some fabulous new shoes for Summer. Besides the beautiful design, the one feature I especially love about the shoes, is that they have a new PERFECT SKIN MATCHING SYSTEM! This means that it has tons of your favorite skin tone presets, which are saved into a database and are retrievable via HUD (like [Gos] and N-core ). It takes only a matter of seconds to match you skin to the feet! So, make sure you check out his new new releases! I am wearing the 'Infra' wedges for this post too.

IKON Destiny Eyes!

Due to the fact that I am slowest blogger on Earth, I don't usually do full reviews of anything. This is not because I do not want to, but because it literally takes me days to finish. LOL! However, I have done at least one full review of the items I love at one point or another. So, a review for IKON eyes was long overdue! Ikon Innovia won me over with his eyes back when they were called FASHISM. From the first time I tried them on, I never took them off! I am not a blogger who is loyal to just one designer, since I have so many favorites. However, 9 times out of 10, you can bet I am wearing Ikon's eyes. Actually, the percentage is higher then that. I have only made a few exceptions in the past, when it comes to blogging other eyes.
 It is really hard to choose a favorite collection or color of Ikon's eyes. Although, I have to admit both collections he has made for the 'The Boutique' event, are definitely in my top 5. These would include his 'Ardent' eyes and 'Destiny' eyes (pictured below). The 'Destiny' eyes are a Boutique exclusive this month. So you have until the 10th of June to grab them. If by chance you miss this cycle, they will be in the IKON mainstore after it is over.

Believe it or not, there are actually MORE eye colors to be found in this collection. I tried to show the best mixture of all the different hues available. These eyes are unbelievably realistic looking. Ikon has this amazing talent of mixing the perfect shades together. Whether they eyes are a pure color or a mix of contrasting tones, they are stunning! I also adore his reflection work in the cornea, which further enhances their sense of realism. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to pick a favorite shade! It is a good thing I am not loyal to just one eye color. Well, maybe my life would be a little easier. But, I have to admit that I am partial to the 'peach' and 'storm'. But that is just today, it will probably change in a few days. LOL. So, what are you waiting for? Go to 'The Boutique' and try on so demos! You will fall in love! To top off my eye post, I chose some gorgeous new releases to show-off. I am wearing Izzie Button's  dazzling latest release. It is her 'Irene' skin. She comes in a zillion skin tones. Each skin tone comes with the following options: a mod/copy shape (I'm  am wearing my own), 11 eye tattoos, 12 lip tattoos, an eyeliner tattoo, a freckles tattoo, gloves for prim nails, a mole tattoo, 4 brow colors (embedded in skin), a cleavage option (embedded in skin) and a brow shape. Truth Hawks is back on track and creating more fabulous hair! I love this new short and sassy style, called "Charlize". This is the perfect style for the warmer weather that has come our way. Please be sure to TP over to the new TRUTH store and try on his latest releases!

Last, but definitely least! AvaGardner Kungler recently released a gorgeous new collection, called "Primavera". It is made up of brilliant necklaces and rings that have a very organic feel to them. Think of over-sized and bejeweled wild flowers and fruit flies. I know these may sound like strange elements for a jewelry collection, but they are extremely beautiful! For this post, I wearing Ava's 'Khloris' necklace in golden. I needed earrings, so I chose these awesome new earrings from Caelan Hancroft of Cae! These 'Kasbah' earrings are FaMESHed exclusive this month and are just too amazing for words! The metal and jewels are texture change too! I am going to try to make this post brief. I have more awesome recent releases to show you  for the Summer season. I am wearing this gorgeous new mesh 'Structured Blazer' from the Maylee Oh of  The Secret Store. This jacket is perfectly designed with two cuff options. You can wear it with the cuff of the jacket sleeve showing or without. It is also also lined with a lovely floral print. I paired this jacket with two more or my favorite recent creations. Harry Hyx of ISON, just released this sleek and sexy mesh 'Slit Pencil Skirt'. I felt that the clean lines of this skirt mixed very nicely with the structured feel of this jacket. The skirt is available in a ton of colors, both bright and neutral, and is a also another MUST have for your wardrobe. 

I needed the perfect top to go with these impressive pieces, so I chose this fabulous mesh 'Kasia Studded Top', created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. I felt it followed suit with my theme of streamlined and modern designs. The 'Kasia Top' is available in two textures - studded and pinstriped.
