Poppies

I must be the slowest freaking blogger on EARTH! This is an ordinary post. In other words, it is not something that tests the limits of my capabilities.Well, except for the SL glitches. So, why did this post take me 3 days to finish? It makes no sense! Yes, I fuss with styling and trying to see what elements work and don't work. Then I try to find poses that compliment the outfit and scene without being too boring. However, unless I want to spend more time editing, I choose not to use poses that tend to be more interesting. Of course the next step is finding the right angle and making sure every prim (well mesh creation) is in its proper place. Windlight is always an important step too, since it sets the mood and highlights the image. And last but not least, the editing process... I don't know why I am telling you all this. I guess I feel inferior and frustrated, since I see other bloggers complete this whole process quickly, efficiently and much prettier than I do. LOL! So, suffice it to say, I am tired today. I'll stop yapping and talk clothes.

This month's FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. So please hurry-up and grab anything you may have missed. One such ensemble may include this adorably chic 'Bold Bow Shirt' with sexy matching 'Hot Pants', which is from the uber talented NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu. Jin Elfan of Belgravia, just released these perfectly sleek 'Patent 120'heels'. They are configured to be worn with your Slink medium high mesh feet, which is another reason why I love them. The combination is perfect, especially with Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system. The heels come in vast array of alluring colors. They also come in a spiked version too! Unfortunately, the Belgravia/Leverocci main store is not up at the moment, but you can grab them on Marketplace - the link is below. 

Speaking of Slink's new 'avatar enhancement' system, Izzie Button just released 'Sock Appliers' to go with it! They come in a lots of colors, neutrals (basics) and colors, and are applied via HUD. They are meant to be worn with Izzie's 'sheer tights'. As you can see, the look is phenomenal. I do hope Izzie releases more of these tights and socks (hint hint).

Glam Affair's long awaited 'Cleo' skin line is FINALLY here! Yay! Cleo is absolutely STUNNING! Plus, she comes with a zillion wear options! She comes in 12 beautiful make-ups and a 'clean' skin. She also comes in 6 gorgeous skin tones. Each make-up comes with a choice of 6 brow colors (black, dark brown, light brown, dark blonde, light blonde and red), which are embedded into the the skin. Now here are all the options (I think): 2 lash tattoos, a definition and skin pore tattoo, 3 freckle tattoos, 3 nose tattoos, 3 glossy lip tattoos, a no gloss lip tattoo and 5 brow shapes! I seriously can not imagine asking for or needing anything more! aida Ewing really did an amazing job and definitely listens to her customer's needs. Not to mention, caters to them too. You have to try on a demo NOW, so you can see what I am talking about!

Gia Pawpad, of "LoQ Hair" has been releasing the most fabulous new mesh hairstyles lately! I am in love with this new style called, "Beer". I also love the fact that she names all her hairstyles after drinks! Beer is so nicely rendered with yummy textures. I adore the side part and swept bang. The relaxed waves make this one smart style. This is another creation that you have to demo. Be sure to check out Gia's other new styles too!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, recently created this exclusive and divine 'Poppy headpiece' for the FINESMITH SUMMER BOUTIQUE! It is available with red, yellow or blue poppies and just 200L per hat. I don't  think I want to to ever to take it off. LOL!

Last Day for January Cycle of FaMESHed

The January cycle of FaMESHed is sadly coming to an end. As always, there are so many AMAZING original mesh creations to be found there. The fact that FaMESHed showcases all original (ie, no templates) mesh content, is one the main reasons that I really love this event. I think it is very important to focus on all of these talented designers, who have worked so hard to bring us some of best mesh creations in SL.
Hmmm, so where do I start? E! Eclectic Apparel! E! has come such a LONG way in the ranks of SL fashion. Their design team makes beautifully rendered mesh and pays a lot of attention to detail.  Each collection gets better and better with every release. In the following pictures, I am wearing their awesome 'Xanna' pants. They are perfect for any casual (but still chic) look. They also created a 'Libby' top to go with these pants. I was going to wear it for this post, but in the middle of a styling crisis, I found something I else I wanted to wear the top with. I really love mixing matching. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and was not able to take pics of it of yet. However, the 'Libby' top will be available in E! Mainstore, after FaMESHed ends. So, stay tuned for an upcoming post with that top. It is seriously cute!
NyuNyu Kimono of Nyu, is also another FaMESHed regular. I have come to love her sleek lines and minimalist approach to designing. Her clothes are always perfect for a more sophisticated look. Her 'Button Back Shirt', is a prime example of her gorgeous creations. I paired her dress with the super sexy new 'Spiked' pumps from FANATIK, which can also be found out at FaMESHed. They come in a TON of different colors and you can choose from silver or gold spikes (via a texture change HUD).

Baiastice at FAIR

Keira Seerose has created yet another amazing event. Instead of a one time only event or once per year occurrence, FAIR is a monthly event. Each month there is new theme and it also offers a 'fair pricing policy', hence the name of the event. For this month, the theme is based on the different times day. One of my favorite designers, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is participating in this cycle. She created two exclusive items that are simply stunning. She created a a gorgeous mesh camisole top, called 'Perla Mesh top', and these beautifully made 'Diane Mesh cropped trousers'. These pieces can be worn together or mixed and matched with just about anything in your inventory. So much amazing new stuff! And I have no idea here to start! I am wearing this fabulous new mesh creation from Valentia E, which is made up of a 'Draped top & Wool Capris'. I also chose the wear Gia Pawpad's, Culture Shock exclusive hair, called "". I decided to add another Culture Shock exclusive to the mix, which is from Fhara Acacia of  Ricielli. It is a gorgeous 'Cowhide Tote Leather' bag, which reminds of one Prada's recent releases. And of course, I am still wearing Giselle, which is the latest and greatest skin from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- . She is just too gorgeous to take off!
