June Colllabor88 featuring U.F.O

June's theme for Collabor88, which is To The Lighthouse, has inspired so many incredible designs for this round. The color palate of faded reds, blues, grays and lavender, remind me of past summer vacations on the the beach's of Cape Cod. The designers have created everything from relaxed cotton casuals to kitschy sailor motifs. Some of my favorite items from this round were created by the super talented Charming Meiler of  ::{u.f.o}::.She went all out and made a cool casual maxi dress, as well as this AMAZING Sailor Boyish Outfit!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo, created a huge Pirate and Sailor Collection for June's Collabor88 as well. So I had no problem finding the perfect Sailor Hat, which she obviously created for the sailor part of her collection. The Hat Rose is separate and can also be worn separately as a rose, like I did in previous posts. It also comes with a color change HUD that has 9 colors to choose from, making it a breeze to match with just about anything.

While I was dipping into Gyo's amazing Collabor88 collection, I found this gorgeous Shell Necklace and Earrings. In fact, there were so many wonderful accessories made for this round, that I decided to add an Anchor Necklace from (Yummy).

The fabulous one-sided braided hair is called Oceana and is yet another Collabor88 exclusive from TRUTH. I seriously love the fact that he managed to weave a scarf into the braid. The scarf's texture can also be changed via HUD. 

Please make sure you get over to Collabor88 ASAP, if you haven't already, and demo all the above items. In fact, DEMO everything that you can find there! LOL! 

Oh! I almost forgot, Snow Martiel of BenS Beauty has been releasing a ton of amazing new shoes that are made to be worn with Slinks avatar enhanced mesh feet! Her Grace Platform sandals went perfectly with this outfit! They come in a tong of beautiful colors, so make sure you grab yourself a few pairs.

Unless you have been hiding under a virtual rock, then you already know that The Arcade Gacha Event is here again and well underway! As always, all of the designers who are participating in this awesome event have managed to come up with the most brilliant creations (more like, "brilliant ways to entice us part with tons of lindens"s..lol)! The seriously talented Charming Meiler of ::{u.f.o}:: has created one of my favorite gacha collections to date for this round, which is called Swan Lake, Act 1.

I don't know about you, but when I was little I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew-up. I loved everything that had to do with ballet, from toe shoes to tutus. This is what Charming managed to re-create for me with her beautifully crafted mesh collection. It is not only made-up of beautiful tutus and ballet shoes (with a texture change HUD), but also wonderful home decor pieces and accessories. Elegant mannequins, retro princess phones and ballet shoe wall ornaments, which all come in a vast array of in pretty pastel colors. 

This is one gacha collection that you will definitely want to try your luck with!

Speaking of amazing Arcade collections, aida Ewing of Glam Affair created two new skins for this round of The Arcade. The skins are called Liv and Livvy and are both absolutely stunning! For this post, I chose to wear Liv. Both skins come in 10 gorgeous make-ups and three lovely skin tones (Arctic, Asia and India). There is even a RARE version in bare, so make sure you play to win all!

Mr. Truth Hawks is also participating in this round of The Arcade (as if you didn't already know). He created this fabulous hair style, called Sakura. Sakura comes in two styles - one side bun or a bun on each side. You can also win flowers and gummy bears in different colors  that can be worn in  this uber cute do.

PENUMBRA FASHION WEEK feat PRISM!

.PENUMBRA. SPRING/SUMMER FASHION WEEK 2014 has officially begun! If you do not already know this, .PENUMBRA. SPRING/SUMMER FASHION WEEK 2014, a very much anticipated one week event, takes the pioneer to display and express varied new styles in Second Life. The fashion fiesta, first and unique of its kind, is a contemporary platform envisioned and designed to unite established designers with designers who aspire being “BRANDS” of tomorrow.
.PENUMBRA. SPRING/SUMMER FASHION WEEK 2014, is envisioned to lead and promote designer’s aspirations and motivations to a Global Audience Arena is Second Life!
One of the first designers who really caught my eye, is Journey McLaglen of Prism!

I really love how Journey mixes her textures, as well as her use of sexy feminine lines. I think her Marilyn Sweater, which has a Missoni like print, mixed with her Herringbone Bamboo Marilyn Skirt, a prime example of her talent. Journey will definitely be one designer to watch and I highly suggest demoing all her work at the Penumba Retail Area.

I accessoried the outfit with both old and new items that I adore. I really felt the gorgeous green stones in this (Kunglers Extra) Vivienne Necklace really popped against the muted colors of my ensemble. I also chose these fabulous (Kunglers) Bracelets, which are a TDR Fusion exclusive right now!
I was looking for the perfect clutch to go with my outfit, so I went an old favorite from the super talented Jin Elfan of Leverocci, Unfortunately, the Leverocci inworld store is not closed. However, you can still her purchase her products on the marketplace for a very nice discount!

The super talented Mimikri Kit has been on fire lately, creating and releasing some of her best designs to date! She just recently released this beautiful camisole dress, called PIA. I adore the simplicity and relaxed flirty feel to this dress. It can be worn so many ways, but I decided to keep things simple and wear it as is. If you have not been to Mimkri's Mainstore lately, then you absolutely must go ASAP! She has so many beautifully made original designs that you will not be able to resist!

Carina Larsen of Amacci has released this fabulous new skin, called Tyne! Like all of Carina's skins, Tyne is expertly shaded with a luminous glow. Her body is beautifully rendered with a lovely tone. She is available in 12 stunning make-ups plus a "clear" version. Tyne also comes in a choice of 2 skin tones - cream and nutmeg. Work It!

I LOVE this round of Collabor88! The sleek polished looks are to DIE FOR! One of my favorite creations from this round, is this two piece Work It suit from Harry Hyx of ISON. The perfectly tailored blazer and trousers are so lovely. The blazer can be worn with silk blouse, a lacy camisole or nothing underneath. The look is up to you. Normally I love to layer, but I decided to go with sexier look and wore nothing underneath the blazer. Harry's work is stunning on it's own and doesn't need much else. Well, except for a few choice accessories...

I decided to add some classic Work Pearls from Polyester Partridge of (Yummy), which are also a Collabor88 exclusive this month. I also couldn't resist layering this stunning Elusive necklace for Caelyn Hancroft of Cae. I you haven't seen any of Cae's work yet, then you really must check it out ASAP. Her jewelry is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully rendered. Plus, most of her pieces come with a texture change HUD, which allows for almost unlimited wear options!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo created the perfect leather tote bag for March's Collabor88. It is called the Mackenzie Tote Bag and comes in a tun of neutral colors with a choice of silver and gold metals. I have been waiting for Gyo to release a new line of bags and she really outdid herself the Mackenzie tote. Every girl needs at least one these in her inventory!

Sigifaust of IeQUED has been making the most beautiful shoes. They are literally works of wearable art! Plus they are made to be worn with Slinks High Bare Mesh Feet, which makes them irresistible. IeQUED is still a relatively new store, but be sure to check it out. You will fall in love with all her fabulous creations!

Skin Fair 2014 is here and will be ending on March 30th! So please make sure you get over there and check out 3 full SIMS of beautiful skin. One of my favorite skins, which you can find at the Skin Fair, is PXL's Limited Edition JADE. Back To Business!

I absolutely loved March's theme for Collabor88, which is called "Back To Business"! It is full of sleek and polished looks in tones of black, white, grey, red and blue.
It was love at first sight when I tried on this Liv Dress from by the talented Fashionboi Landar of Color.Me.H.O.F. This classic dress has a definite 'Breakfast at Tiffany's feel to it, which is a one staple that you simply MUST have in your wardrobe.

I could not resist paring the dress with this brilliant Jackie Bow Hat, which was created London Dailey or House Of London. This peal adorned hat is also a Collabor88 exclusive this month and comes in a bunch of beautiful colors!
These 'to-die for' Coco peep-toe heels from Davidfre Resident of JUST DESIGN. You can find these in tons of yummy colors at this month's Liaison Collaborative. Please keep in mind that these shoes were created to be worn with JUST DESIGN's My Feet bare feet in Tip Toe. Keeping It Casual Chic

I have been trying to keep up with all the amazing events lately. February has been a huge month for events! I would  actually like to start off my post with one item that is not an event exclusive, but gorgeous non-the-less. It is the fabulous Saoya Dress from Marry Lemur of Overhigh. I love the soft cashmere textured feel to this dress. I also adore the relaxed and generous boat neck top that is tapered into sleek and sexy mini dress. This is one dress that you simply must demo!
