Shadey Days...

This is basically a 'Look of The Day', which features a few event exclusives and also some gorgeous new releases. The last cycle of FAIR, is sadly ending. There are so many fabulous creations to be found be there, so I would would hurry over there before they are gone. One of these items is this beautiful mesh 'Break Skirt' from Poulet Koenkamp of :: Purple Moon Creations ::. There is also this  very well made 'Marcie Mini leather' shoulder bag, which also somes with a texture change HUD, from Zenith .
On a brighter note, TDR and TDR Blue have finally joined to together as ONE! This joint project is now called, TDR Fusion. I decided to accentuate my skirt with this perfect cross adorned belt from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This is just one example of the awesome creations that can be found at TDR Fusion for just 70L and under.
There are sooo many amazing new releases as well. In my last post, I spoke about the super beautiful new skin, 'Amberly', from -Glam Affair-. So, of course, I couldn't help but show you a another lovely make-up. Truth Hawks has also released three uber cute new hair styles. For this post, I chose this epic up-do, called 'Chynna'. This has to be one of my favorite up-dos to date! Oh, I almost forgot! AvaGardner Kungler, of Kunglers Extra, just released a new jewelry line that is all interchangeable. It is called 'Solaris'. The jewerly is made-up of thick metals and big beautiful baubles. It is absolutely STUNNING! Since I am babbling and not making much sense, I will leave you with the LMs:

Early Morning

One of my new favorite events has to be FAIR. They have such a lovely collection of designers, who create event exclusives that reflect a certain time of day. Their creations are also set at a fair price, which is both fair for the customer and the designer. One of the most gorgeous creations at FAIR, is a delicate mesh silk slip created by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. The slip is called 'Aida' and it comes in ton of yummy colors.
I also have been meaning to post a recently released skin from Carina Larsen of Amacci. This skin is called Nuiko and it is really made for an avatar who has more Asian features. But it looked great on my avatar as well. The skin tone is so lovely. But, then again, all the Amacci Skins have amazing skin tones! Carina always makes such beautiful skins, so I really suggest you check-out her different skins and try on some demos. Here are your LMs:

Leather and Lace

I just found some info the hard way. Do NOT install 'Skydrive', if you plan on taking pictures in SL or want to crash every 5 minutes. LOL! I had installed 'Skydrive' late Thursday night. I probably was not thinking too clearly from all the Thanksgiving food and wine. I did have this gut feeling that it could interfere with my viewer, but it started-up ok. So, I did not pay any attention to it. After a terrible couple of days dealing with my inventory not loading at all and crashing all the time, I finally was ready to take a picture. It crashed before I could hit the save button. I was really tired, so I went bed and figured it was just another crash. The next day, I struggled all day to rez my avatar. Once again, I got everything in order and was ready to snap away. But I  couldn't. No matter what setting or viewer I used, I crashed as soon as tried to press save. I started to freak, thinking something was majorly wrong with my computer. I decided to check the JIRA's to see if maybe there were some kindof bug or issue with SL over the Holiday weekend. And, sure enough, it said that 'Skydrive' would cause this type of behavior from a viewer. So, I quickly un-installed it and prayed that this was the problem. It was!  Whew! If my pictures suck, it is because I rushed to take them.

Such A Perfect Day

OMG! There are soooo many gorgeous new collections that are being released by my favorite SL designers! It is becoming difficult keep up! LOL! There are so many beautiful creations and I want to blog them all before next winter! Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is one such designers who has been creating so much fabulousity. Her new all mesh Winter collection is full of cozy wools, soft suede's and sleek leathers.Her mesh textures are some of the best in SL. Plus, her lastest creations resemble my RL Winter wardrobe. Autumn in New York

Autumn is at it's peak in NYC. This is truly the most beautiful time of year of in this area of the US. The cool air mixed with the vivid colors of the turning trees, signals a time where life starts to slow down a bit. Just before the wake of Holiday season. Not unlike the calm before a storm quickly approaches the sky. The feeling is more relaxed and rested, which is often reflected in the way we dress. Or at least the way I dress. It is finally cool enough to wear my favorite jeans and softest sweaters. My sleekest boots are also in order, as well as my other essential accessories. I have always strictly followed the rule that accessories make an outfit. You can turn ordinary jeans and a 'T' into a uber chic look quite easily. It is just a matter of wearing the right shoes, belt and handbag. Of course, nice jewelry never hurts either. I don't know why I am rambling like this, but it is my blog. Plus, not to many people actually read what people write anyway. It's the images that speak a thousand words.
So, how does this translate in SL? Well, I got these fabulous new 'Rise Skinny Jeans' from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store . I should have really waited to wear these jeans with a shorter top or bustier, in order to show of the gorgeous high waist and detailing. But, I just could not wait to wear them! I will definitely blog them again, so I can show it off. I paired them with my new favorite 'goto'
'Merino Wool Sweater' from Jin Elfan of Leverocci. This mesh sweater is just so yummy and gorgeous. It is the quintessential Fall sweater, at least in my opinion. I also wore the new '
Altai Boots' from Leverocci. These are the most fabulous mesh ankle boots of the Season. I love the beautifully textured leather that is adorned with perfectly polished buckles, Just so you know, the buckles and soles are color changeable via a texture-change HUD. I definitely LOVE that! Feeling Glam

The whole -Glam Affair- team has been VERY busy creating and releasing fabulous new designs. From fatansy gacha skins for the 'Arcade Event' to a new line of stunning couture mesh lashes and liners. Not to mention all the beautiful accessories and clothes. Becuase I have been a bit out of the swing of things, so to speak, I really have no idea where to start with post. I guess since the 'Arcade Gacha Event' is coming to an end on the 15th, I will begin my post with that.
aida Ewing created a gorgeous line of special edition 'Roza' skins for 'The Arcade Gacha Event'. They come in 10 brilliant and exotic tones, which are perfect for the upcoming Halloween events. They are also a great edition to any SL photographer's or model's wardrobe, since they make for a very dramtic look.
Speaking of dramatic looks, Amberly Boccaccio created a seriously fierce line of 'Couture Lashes and Eyeiners'. I especially love the liners, since they re-create liquid liner so well. They definitely add that extra something to any style or pic. The eyelashes are amazing too and are a great addition to any avant garde look.
I also adore this mesh 'Openside' top by M4ri1yn Magic. It is a FAIR exclsuive, but I am not sure if the September Cyle is still going on or not. It is worth checking out though. And I do know the October cycle starts on the 3rd Saturday of this month.  So, do youself a favor and check-out the events and the -Glam Affair- mainstore for these stunning creations.

Baiastice at FAIR

Keira Seerose has created yet another amazing event. Instead of a one time only event or once per year occurrence, FAIR is a monthly event. Each month there is new theme and it also offers a 'fair pricing policy', hence the name of the event. For this month, the theme is based on the different times day. One of my favorite designers, Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, is participating in this cycle. She created two exclusive items that are simply stunning. She created a a gorgeous mesh camisole top, called 'Perla Mesh top', and these beautifully made 'Diane Mesh cropped trousers'. These pieces can be worn together or mixed and matched with just about anything in your inventory.
