Two For The Road - The Last Hours of Hair Fair 2013 feat. Miamai and blush!

I am down to last few hours of Hair Fair 2013. There are just too many amazing creations to be shown and I can not help myself. I apologize for anything that was sent to me that I did get a chance blog. It was not because they were not gorgeous, it was just matter of the amount of time I had. I will surely use your creations in upcoming posts! I really want to go into detail about Monica Outlander's (of Miamai) incredible "updo"s that are perfect addition to any couture wardrobe, but you will have to see for yourself. There are flowers in the hair that are changeable by HUD and are also re-sizable. So, they will match just about anything in your wardrobe!

.blush.! is new name, but the designers who created this brilliant new hair line are not. It is a collaboration between Nyu and BOOM! I am really excited by these two amazing design teams getting together to make hair. Here are just a couple examples of what you can find at Hair Fair 2013:

Last Hours For Hair Fair 2013 with Slink Hair!

Siddean Munro of Slink, not always makes amazing mesh shoes, hands, feet and clothes, but she makes gorgeous mesh hair too! I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was participating in this year's Hair Fair. She created four gorgeous hair styles for Hair Fair 2013. However, I am only showing 3 of the styles, because I forgot to check one of the images after snapping it. Unfortunately, it was beyond PS re-touching. I have been working overtime, in order to try and cover as much hair as possible before Hair Fair 2013. I have two more fabulous designers to show you. Carina Larsen of Amacci Hair and Gia Pawpad of "LoQ Hair". I am really impressed by what both designers are doing with mesh. It has brought their creations to a whole other level. Their textures and style are just amazing!
Carina Larsen designed elegant and chic updos, which I adore.

Gia Pawpad, as always, brought edgy and fashion forward to the fair.

Last Day for Hair Fair 2013 Featuring *The Alice Project*

Yes, I am always posting towards the close of event. Why? Well, mainly because I am slow and tend to procrastinate. Secondly, someone has to remind you of the amazing creations you may have forgotten to buy or missed. Like the those "to buy" demos that are still sitting in your inventory, anxiously awaiting to replaced with the real version. Anyway, if you have not gotten around to seeing what Alice Demonia (aka AliceProject Resident) of The Alice Project has released at Hair Fair 2013, then you must be living under a mesh rock. The Alice Project was probably one of the first brands in SL to create mesh hair. I remember being seriously depressed, because I did not have a mesh compatible PC at the time and could not demo her hair. Luckily, those days are gone. Alice created 6 gorgeous new hair styles for this year's Hair Fair! They are also go with her new 'Create Your Own Pack' system. This HUD driven system includes 5 hairstyles in each pack that you can color in any of your favorite Alice Project shades. Two CYO (create Your Own) HUDs are included with each purchase - Nova and Silk. However, if the older Infinity HUD is more your speed (pre-made color options), you have the choice to buy that too! **

Vanity Hair at Hair Fair 2013

Vanity Hair is a name that has become synonymous with "high fashion and glamorous" hair. Tabata Jewell,  who is the brilliant designer behind the name "Vanity Hair", always strives to create unique and fashion forward style styles. What I love most abut her hair releases, is that they are always fabulous and unpredictable. You just never know what she will create next! It could be a stunning updo or it could be an edgy flirty style. However, for this year's Hair Fair, which will be be ending tomorrow, she went all glam! All 3 styles that she created are absolutely STUNNING and a must have for any fashionista's wardrobe.  Well, why don't you take a look for yourself at the below picture?

I really can not pic a favorite style. I love the full and slightly tussled look of "Fantastic Girl". I adore the large curl adorned updo with a sleek middle part in the front, which makes up "Sonata". And "Boys will be Boys's" super chic low pony, which also has a middle part, is just too hard to resist. ~Tableau Vivant~ at Hair Fair 2013

I am so sad to say that Hair Fair 2013 is coming to an end in day and half (July 28th at 11:59 SLT). It is one of my most favorite SL events of the year, as well as one my most favorite fundraisers. This year's Hair Fair has so many new creators and so many amazing hair styles! The one huge trend that I have noticed, especially with most hair being all mesh now, are color change HUDs. This is not a new concept, but I really love that so many designers are using them. Not only do they make it easy to change your hair color, but they save major space in my inventory. Many HUDs also allow for different streaking options too.
Once of my favorite new hair designers, is M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~ .  M4ri1yn is definitely not new to content creation, but hair is a recent addition to his already extensive resume. I am seriously impressed with all of the mesh hair styles that he brought to the fair. His textures are fabulous and he creates the most lovely "dos". I also love that all his hair changes color via HUD.

The above pictures include a examples of the 4 hair brilliant styles that you find from ~Tableau Vivant~  at Hair Fair 2013. He is also giving out a beautiful free gift hair too, which I forgot to show. So, I guess you will just have to go there and see it for yourself ;-).

Btw, the gorgeous skin I am wearing is from M4ri1yn's uber talented partner in crime, aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- . The skin is called "Katya" and is a Boutique exclusive. It comes in 5 yummy make-ups in the America skin tone. Each skin comes with 7 different brow colors (Yes, 7!) and a lip gloss remover tattoo.

Baiastice at Hair Fair 2013 and PXL's JADE!

Wow! Sissy Pessoa of  Baiastice has  really outdone herself with the hair she created for this year's Hair Fair. She made 4 stunning mesh hair styles that you simply must check-out! I know that I have been teasing you with previews of Hart Larsson's new skin line, "JADE". Well, he has finally finished "JADE" and she is now available at the PXL mainstore! JADE comes with a plethora of wear options that I feel will please any skin connoisseur. First off, she is available in 8 gorgeous skin tones (pale, natural, light tan, sunkissed, olive, tan, dark and ebony. Each skin comes in 15 lip colors with 3 base options (regular, enhanced cheekbones and freckles) that are embedded into the skin. It also comes with a multitude of tattoo layers, which you can mix and match with ease. These layers include: 5 brow colors, a brow eraser, 3 cleavage sizes, 3 mole options, 3 lips glosses and also a glove layer for prim nails. PXL also makes appliers in all tones for Slink mesh hands and feet, as well as Lola and Lush mesh breasts. You simply must try on a demo ASAP!

All About ISON!

This post took me days to finish, because I just could not seem to take a good picture.There was always something wrong. Things such as: wrong angles, wrong light, wrong pose, etc... What made this whole situation particularly frustrating, is the fact that my clothes and hair were perfect! I had on ISON hair, an ISON dress and ISON shoes! You would think that by wearing such beautiful creations, my images would come with ease. So, the first picture that you will see, is heavily edited in Photoshop. However, I did not modify or alter my clothes and shoes.

For this post, I chose to wear Harry Hyx's (ISON) gorgeous Collabor88 exclusives. He created this lovely mesh 'ruffle dress' and these amazing 'leather strap sandals'. The sandals were developed to be worn with the Slink mesh feet (flat). I love the fact that so many designers are doing this with their shoes, especially since I was never a fan of my ugly avatar feet. Plus, now that there are appliers for the the Slink mesh feet, I don't have to spend hours trying to match my feet to my skin. 

When I thought about accessorizing my outfit, I did not have to go any further than Collabor88. There are so many incredible items to be found this month! I chose this brilliant mesh clutch 'Owl Clutch' from Marie Lauridsen (of Milk Motion), a delicate 'Sketchy Flower Necklace' from Natalee Oodles (of Noodles) and pretty little 'Midsummer Blossom' earrings from Polyester Partridge (of Yummy . Oh, and of course, a beautiful statement ring and bracelet from Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) 'Axila Collection'! 

The stunning skin I am wearing is also from this month's Collabor88. I absolutely LOVE aida Ewing's (Glam Affair) new 'LuLu' skin line. The lips are simply delicious! aida created a collection of 5 skins in various tones and wonderful make-ups.

Harry Hyx (ISON) not only makes fabulous clothes, but he makes fabulous hair too! He created three AMAZING new hair styles for Hair Fair 2013. The hair textures are outstanding and come in HUD driven tone packs. The HUD not only includes solid colors, but fades and ombre options too! I am in love with every style he has made and I definitely look forward to seeing more hair from him in the future.
