Keeping It Casual Chic

I have been trying to keep up with all the amazing events lately. February has been a huge month for events! I would  actually like to start off my post with one item that is not an event exclusive, but gorgeous non-the-less. It is the fabulous Saoya Dress from Marry Lemur of Overhigh. I love the soft cashmere textured feel to this dress. I also adore the relaxed and generous boat neck top that is tapered into sleek and sexy mini dress. This is one dress that you simply must demo!

Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo created this fabulous Mabel Necklace and Mable Earrings in gold for GizzA Creation's "Love is in the Air" event, which is going on until the 28th. So please make sure go and check it out before it ends!

This "to-die for hairstyle" is from Truth Hawks and it is called Bryn. Truth has been releasing a ton of new and brilliant styles, so make sure go and demo it all!

Space Cadet

Seems like forever since I wrote my last post. RL has been crazy with major snow storms, power outages and even a car accident. So, suffice it to say, it is nice to have time to escape to SL.
A new round Collabor88 is here and it is amazing as always! This round actually has two themes - 'Collabor88 Prom with a Supernova theme'. Basically, Collabor88 designers were encouraged to pair up with another designer (aka Prom Date) and create a fabulous Collabor88 collaboration.Many of the Collabor88designers also made beautiful event exclusives on their own as well...

To be honest, I was a bit worried about the theme, since it features such bright colors (ie, purple, teal, green, blue, red, gold and silver) and some seriously bold styles. I normally wear neutral tones and more understated looks. However, I liked the fact that it forced me to go outside my comfort zone and play with all of these amazing creations. Maylee Oh of The Secret Store, really outdid herself with this awesome Aerolite Jacket and Balloon Shorts. Both pieces are beautifully made and a lot of fun to wear. I also adore the way Maylee truly captured the whole feel and look of this outer-space theme. This is one outfit that you simply must demo!

Another one of my favorite items from this round of Collabor88 are these gorgeous Lunar Ankle Boots from Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice. They are seriously sexy and come in ton of brilliant colors!

The stunning skin that I am wearing is also a Collabor88 exclusive from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-. It is brand new skin, called Sylvia and comes the America skin tone. aida took a different approach with her skin options for Sylvia. She created a base skin with just the brow colors embedded into it (8 different brow colors and a no brow option) and put all the different options on tattoo layers. Here are all the different options: 3 lip styles, 3 nose styles, 4 cheek styles, 8 eye make-ups, 3 lipstick styles (8 colors per style), 4 brow styles (8 brow colors per style) and mole options! This way, you can customize the skin any way you choose by mixing and matching tattoo layers. The looks are practically endless! This is definitely one skin that you do not want miss!

To top of my look, I am wearing different pieces of fabulous jewelry, which were created by  LaGyo, Maxi Gossamer, Noodles and PILOT, and can all be found out Collabor88!
Every space cadet needs a RAYGUN! This particular raygun is an awesome collaborative item from ~silentsparrow~ & Schadenfreude for Collabor88. It comes with a color change HUD and makes cool sounds too!
I only used Collabor88 exclusives for the background decor. These super cute space pigs are actually Astropork Lights from the uber talented Anya Ohmai of !Ohmai. I modified them so the post does not show, since I wanted floating pigs for he background.
The Centauri Space Pod in the background is from Barnsworth Anubis. He has a ground and skybox version at Collabor88. I modified the ground version for the photo by making it much smaller.
This stunning asymmetrical blunt cut (aka Lazy Summer Days) that I am wearing is from Kavar Cleanslate of Exile and is not a Collabor88 exclusive. However, is it a must have and is also new, so make sure you demo it!

Last Day For January Collabor88 Featuring Maitreya

I always like to save some of the best event items for last. My favorite creation for this round of Collabor88 has to be Maitreya's Vintage Lace Gown...

This gown is absolutely STUNNING! Onyx always puts so much effort into rendering life-like textures and creating top notch meshes. This Gown can be worn is many different ways too. It can be worn as a simple strapless gown sans lace overlay. Onyx also created a matching Vintage Collar and Vintage Pearl Necklace, which completes this ensemble perfectly. You can not help but feel like a total diva, when wearing this phenomenal gown. So if you have not bought or demoed this yet, make sure run and do it NOW!

Bubbles Clawtooth of Clawtooth, created this super sultry and sexy hair that goes perfectly with Onyx's Gown. This tousled side-swept hair is called, Pink Flamingos. This style should look familiar, since I posted Bubble's Female Trouble hair, in a previous post here. The only difference is that Pink Flamingos does not have Female Trouble whispy bangs. I love both styles equally, so demo them before January's Collabor88 comes to a close!

ISON for January C88!

The January cycle of Collabor88 is almost over, so please make sure you get over there and check it out ASAP. January was yet an another AMAZING round with the most incredible event exclusives. The theme is Raw Nostalgia, which brings sleek elegance in soft polished tones .Think pearls, silk gowns, lace overlays, and polished metals.

One of the many favorite Collabor88 creations this month, is this stunning Charlotte dress from Harry Hyx of ISON. I adore the sleek asymmetrical cut of this silk textured dress. There is also gorgeous lace detailing on the top.The dress comes in a tone of gorgeous neutral tones, so make sure run and grab it!
Harry also made this beautiful Amber hair for January's Collabor88. The soft waves are coiffed to perfection.

The lovely Ria skin that I am wearing is another Collabor88 exclusive from Shyla Diggs of Belleza, which I have posted several time already. This is definitely one of my ALL TIME favorite skins from Belleza! Shyla did such an amazing job. I especially love the lips! Ria comes in 5 beautiful make-ups in a choice of 4 skin tones (Medium, Sunkissed, Tan  and Fair). There are also several options included with skin, which include: 4 brow colors (embedded into skin), 5 lip gloss tattoo, 5 matte lip tattoos and 3 mole tattoos.

The jewelry is all from Collabor88 as well. I had such a hard time choosing what pieces to wear, since they are all so pretty and well made. I chose these fabulous long Knotted Shimmer Pearls from Maxi Gossamer, which are texture change via script. I also chose these beautiful bracelets and earrings from Caelyn Hancroft of Cae. Each part of the bracelet and earrings can be fully customized via HUD.

Nothing Burns Like The Cold

It's been one crazy Winter. One week warm and the next two week freezing. Everyone has the flu and is laying low, so I am trying to make the best of it. At least the days are getting longer now.
I am going to make this post quick, despite the fact that there are so many lovely items to talk about...

The super talented NyuNyu Kimono of NYU, created this super adorable shift dress for Seasons Story. I love the clean lines and minimalist look of this piece, which NyuNyu is so famous for. It just goes to show that beautifully rendered mesh and great textures speak volumes.

Nina Helix of .Birdy., made this lovely new skin that I am wearing. It is called Savannah and is a Seasons Story exclusive too. Nina also created those uber cute bunny coffee mugs behind me. They are called Bunny Cafe and are an OMGacha exclusive this month! Nina makes such amazing mesh items and you will definitely want to collect all of these Bunnies! They are only 75L per play, so make sure you try your luck!

The talented Gyorgyna Larnia finally created a new release for the LaGyo Mainstore! It is this stunning feather necklace that I am wearing. This dramatic Mollie Necklace has a bohemian feel to it, yet still makes a bold statement, I am really in love this necklace, so make sure you check it out ASAP!

Uff! I know it is hard to see, but Caelyn Hancroft created the shorter necklace. It has disk shaped pendant with a tree in it. Not only is it perfectly rendered, but it comes with a HUD that lets you fully customize the colors. I will have to wear it again to show you. Caelyn is really making a name for herself by designing some of the most beautiful jewelry on the grid. The necklace is another Seasons Story exclusive this month!

 Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea has been very busy lately, making amazing furniture and home decor items for several events this month. One of my favorite items is this Roux Coffee Station for The Neighborhood. Obviously, I love coffee and anything related to it. However, this is the perfect addition to one's virtual kitchen. Especially when it is cold outside (like it has been in RL), since it adds lots warmth and charm.

I once again apologize for my lack of posts this month. My RL has been absolutely crazy and I have not had much time for SL. Because of this, I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing and wonderful new releases and events. There are so many fabulous items to blog and so little time! Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, created this STUNNING Kirsty dress for this month's FaMESHed. This chic and flirty strapless dress is absolutely gorgeous. I love the sleek lines that are offset with a ruffle on the side. As always, Sissy rendered this dress to perfection with beautiful textures and tones. This gorgeous skin that I am wearing is a Cosmetic Fair Winter Edition exclusive from aida Ewing of Glam Affair. It is her latest Mokatana skin, which is available in Artic skin tone and comes 8 vibrant fashion forward make-ups. aida's skins are always lovely and well thought out. Winter Events!

There are so many great events that are going on right now that is almost impossible to keep up. So for this post, I wanted to show a sampling of some of favorite my event exclusives that feature skin, hair and accessories....

I am absolutely in LOVE with this latest new skin from -Glam Affair-, called Magenta! What makes this skin extra special, is that aida created it in a new skin tone, called Asia. Just like the name of the skin tone, the facial features reflect a more Asian ethnicity, which are absolutely beautiful! This special edition was created for this round of The Seasons Story. Magenta comes in 6 stunning make-up and a TON of options that include: 8 brown options (embedded into the skin), 5 lip tattoos, 3 nose tattoo, 3 cheek enhancers (tattoo layer), Slink hand and feet appliers, Lolas Tango appliers and Phat Azz appliers! 

This is definitely one of my favorite Glam Affair skins to date, so make sure you demo it ASAP!

Collabor88 is here is again and the exclusives are TO DIE FOR! I am totally crazy about this new hair style from Bubbles Clawtooth, called Female Trouble! I just love the super sexy styling, which is tousled to perfection, giving you 'just-got-out-of bed' look! This is one my all time MUST HAVE hair styles!

Speaking of brilliant Collabor88 creations, Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo created this lovely Chantelle necklace and earrings. These pieces are so simple and glamorous at the same time.They are available in a choice of 3 metals and are the perfect finishing touch for any outfit!

Since I was so busy with RL over the Holidays, I didn't get a chance to post all the new items that I wanted to. So I am going to do it now! 

nina Helix of .Birdy. Skins, created this beautiful new skin line, called Jordan. Jordan comes in more darker ethnic skin tones, in contrast to Nina's lighter toned skin releases. She is available in 6 lovely skin tones, which include: Toffee, Latte, Olive, Coco, Mocha and Cafe. The skin itself is pretty much bare, but it is so gorgeous that is does not need much make-up. Each skin comes with the following options: dewy skin, matte skin, glossy lips (embedded into skin), matte lips (embedded into skin), no brows (embedded into skin), penciled brows (embedded into skin) and natural brows (embedded into skin), 2 lipsticks (tattoo) and eyeliner (tattoo) So, if you are looking for stunning ethnic skin, you must check out Jordan!

M4ri1yn Magic of ~Tableau Vivant~  has been making such wonderful lately! I really adore this recent release, called Noel. It was a December Collabor88 exclusive, but it should be in that ~Tableau Vivant~  Mainstore by now. The hair is unisex and is made of rigged mesh, so it comes in several sizes. I love the HUD driven color packs which are based on the 4 Seasons. This is gives you a ton of wonderful tones choose from. The hat is texture change too via HUD and allows for every color imaginable. This is definitely a Winter MUST!

These amazing statement earrings by AvaGardner Kungler, were a TDR Fusion exclusive from (Kunglers Extra) and come in 3 different metals (copper, gold and silver). I do hope you can pick these up in the Mainstore too.

IKON's Promise Eyes and Belleza's RIA!

I am so excited! Ikon Innovia of IKON is now a FaMESHed regular! This means more stunning new mesh eyes, from my all time favorite eye creator! For this month's FaMESHed, Ikon released the new Promise Eyes, which are absolutely gorgeous. I love the window reflection in the eye and the details are so life-like. These are just a few of the brilliant colors available.They basically come in every color imaginable and only cost 150L per pair. The biggest problem is choosing a color, since they are all so lovely! Each purchase includes: 5 sizes of both regular system eyes, mesh eyes (can be worn without the mesh attachments too), and a convenient HUD for precise fitting, various options and different effects. The HUD is easy to use and allows for a perfect fit in a matter of seconds.You can easily change the overall size of the eye or just the iris and pupil, you can change the degree of shading on the white of the eyes, add glow and add brightness.
