Uber Awesome New Event!

Yes, there is yet another amazing event in SL, called Uber, which I am sure you have already heard about by now. This awesome new event, which is brought to you by the uber talented team of Kaelyn Alecto and Truth Hawks, features the best designers that SL has to offer. The first round's theme, which started on July 31s (each new round starts on 30th or 31st of each month and ends on the 28th), is 'Beach Party'. A fabulous theme to celebrate the end of Summer. As far as future themes go, you will see more unique and artistic subject matter. So suffice it to say, I am uber excited about Uber!

Btw, I know I am seriously behind due to fact that I was away in Italy and I just had to fix the keyboard/touchpad on my laptop. For this post, I am obviously featuring just a few of the brilliant Uber exclusives. This stunning Antara Maxi Dress, which was created by the super talented Zaara Kohime of Zaara, has to be one of my favorite items from this round of Uber. I love the silky texture and gorgeous design. I paired it with these fabulous Nereida Wedges from Euroda 3D. The wonderful thing abou these wedges, is that they come with texture change HUD, which allows you color each part of shoe! These wedges come in choice of 3 color stories, so come over to Uber and grab them!

There are also a bunch of lovely skins and obviously hair to be found at this round of Uber. Shyla Diggs of Belleza, created this gorgeous new Beth skin for the event. Beth comes in 6 brilliant make-ups in Pale and Sunkissed skin tones. Each make-up also comes with a gloss lip (on tattoo), matte lip (on tattoo) and 3 brow colors!
This fabulous windswept is hair is from Minami Susanowa of Tulip. This style is called, Bethany and is absolute MUST HAVE for your wardrobe, so please make sure go by Uber and demo it!
August Collabor88 is in full swing too! And, OMG, it is Fabulous! The theme is 'The Odyssey', so think of anything related to Greek Mythology and absolute splendor! I couldn't help but wear this beautiful new Metis Necklace and Earrings from Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo! The floral details are to die for! Nothing Burns Like The Cold

It's been one crazy Winter. One week warm and the next two week freezing. Everyone has the flu and is laying low, so I am trying to make the best of it. At least the days are getting longer now.
I am going to make this post quick, despite the fact that there are so many lovely items to talk about...

The super talented NyuNyu Kimono of NYU, created this super adorable shift dress for Seasons Story. I love the clean lines and minimalist look of this piece, which NyuNyu is so famous for. It just goes to show that beautifully rendered mesh and great textures speak volumes.

Nina Helix of .Birdy., made this lovely new skin that I am wearing. It is called Savannah and is a Seasons Story exclusive too. Nina also created those uber cute bunny coffee mugs behind me. They are called Bunny Cafe and are an OMGacha exclusive this month! Nina makes such amazing mesh items and you will definitely want to collect all of these Bunnies! They are only 75L per play, so make sure you try your luck!

The talented Gyorgyna Larnia finally created a new release for the LaGyo Mainstore! It is this stunning feather necklace that I am wearing. This dramatic Mollie Necklace has a bohemian feel to it, yet still makes a bold statement, I am really in love this necklace, so make sure you check it out ASAP!

Uff! I know it is hard to see, but Caelyn Hancroft created the shorter necklace. It has disk shaped pendant with a tree in it. Not only is it perfectly rendered, but it comes with a HUD that lets you fully customize the colors. I will have to wear it again to show you. Caelyn is really making a name for herself by designing some of the most beautiful jewelry on the grid. The necklace is another Seasons Story exclusive this month!

 Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea has been very busy lately, making amazing furniture and home decor items for several events this month. One of my favorite items is this Roux Coffee Station for The Neighborhood. Obviously, I love coffee and anything related to it. However, this is the perfect addition to one's virtual kitchen. Especially when it is cold outside (like it has been in RL), since it adds lots warmth and charm.

A Mid-Summer Night's Theme

OMG! As I previously mentioned, I am in LOVE with Collabor88's heme this month - 'A Mid-Summer Night's Dream'. All the designers really went above and beyond with all their Collabor88 exclusives. This is sort of a two part post. I got together with an old friend and blogger, Kaelyn Alecto, to show off a couple of these gorgeous designs. Cheeky Pea - Rowan Tea Spa for FaMESHed, Izzie's Latest Skin and LaGyo Axila Set for C88

I have been so frustrated lately with the new viewer and server baking issues. Plus, to top it all off, I think my graphic card is going on my laptop. So, suffice it to say, I am quite frustrated. I also started all the following pics on Sunday! It is now Wednesday and I am finally posting them! WTF? LOL! I spent hours fussing with the viewer, since I would lose detail (or whole meshes) if I zoomed out. This has never been an issue. Shadows also do not work like they used to either. I did several retakes and several different edits on each pic. This is a blog, not an art gallery. But, I just couldn't stand the quality of my images. In fact, I am still not happy with them, but sometimes you just have to put an end to the insanity!
Ok, enough complaining. Isla Gealach, of Cheeky Pea, has created this AMAZING 'Rowan Tea Spa' for FaMESHed. It is simply adorable and so beautifully rendered. I love the tea cup shaped tub and the many brilliant animations that come with it too.You definitely have to come check this set out!

I decided to take a spa day, while wearing the latest skin from Izzie Button. Her name is "Jill" and is simply lovely. As always, Izzie's skin comes with a ton of make-up options on tattoo layers. As well as freckle and brow options. Do yourself a favor and try on a demo!
