I'm still rushing to catch-up with all of April's events and am obviously cutting it real close! It is the last day of April, so please make sure you run and check-out the following events exclusives (if you haven't already) before the venues close this evening.
The first of May is almost here and Spring is well underway. I am in love with all the pretty pastel tones and dreamy prints that are flooding the stores this season. Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, one of favorite creators, has followed suit with a ton of gorgeous new items for all the different events.

I particularly adore this gorgeous Ory shirt and skirt combination piece, which was an April FaMESHed exclusive. Unfortunately, I am just now realizing that I made the mistake of putting this month's FaMESHed exclusives in my inventory's Seasons Story folderrrrrr. OMG! Oops! A huge oops! I had planned to post this dress for Seasons Story, which is ending tonight a 12am SLT. However, it was created for April's FaMESHed, which is now over (grrr)... I do apologize for this massive mistake. Thankfully, you will be able to purchase it in Baiastice Mainstore now! The pretty pink Metallic Letters Clutch that I am holding, IS part of Baiastice's Seasons Story exclusive. At least I got that right!

This stunning skin is indeed a Seasons Story exclusive from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair-. It is part of her latest Brandi skin line, which comes in a choice of 5 lovely make-ups in 2 skin tones (Europa & Frost). Each make-up comes with 12 brow colors (including 3 new pastel colors and a no brow option) that are embedded into skin. You can also purchase an additional pack of 14 vibrant lipsticks, making the wear options virtually endless. 

The hair, which is yet another another Seasons Story creation, is from the talented Kavar Cleanslate of Exile. It is called San Francisco, and it comes with flowers (color change too) in it's hair! However, I decided to wear this amazing Spring Crown from Anemysk Karu of ANE. These gorgeous rose Strappy Heels are also from ANE. You can find both the Spring Crown and the Strappy Heels in ton of brilliant colors at this months Collabor88.

The mistake I made with the first dress, I also made with this super cute Ruffle Collar Blouse & High Waist from Nyu Nyu Kimono of NYU. This was a April FaMESHed exclusive, but you can find it in the Nyu Maisntore now. I simply love Nyu Nyu's minimal yet very feminine creations, which are expressed so perfectly in this Spring ensemble.

This beautiful Daenerys skin is from nina Helix of Birdy and (you guessed it) is a Seasons Story exclusive. This dewy skin is definitely one of my favorite Birdy skins to date. It is sold as simple make-up free skin that comes with nice variety of brow colors that are embedded into it. It also comes with a brow free option and has several cleavage choices (including a smaller size sans nipple) that can be changed via tattoo layer. I dipped into my huge collection of various make-up tattoos, since I wanted a pinker tint to the lips and eyes (as well as liner) for this look. However, the skin is perfect without make-up! Do yourself a favor and demo this skin ASAP!

This one-sided braid, is one of TRUTH's latest and greatest releases, called  Elyse. There are a ton of amazing new hair styles at the TRUTH  HAIR Mainstor right now! Yay!

Pose Fair 2014 is still going on! If you like to take pictures in SL then you really need to go and see all the incredible poses and props featured there. The awesome pose that I used for the first picture of this post, as well the bird prop (in pics 1,2 and 4), is a Pose Fair gacha exclusive from Olivia Lalonde of Le Poppycock. This collection consists of 12 different poses (including 2 rares) that you can use alone or with the blue bird (which has the pose scripted into) that comes with it. These poses are perfect for Spring, so try your luck and collect each pose (the doubles always make for a great gift)!

Speaking of Pose Fair creators Nati Willaims of Imeka Poses crated the charming pink Flowery Mini Bag, as well as the poses used in pics 3 and 4. The poses are part of her Charmy and Miwa pose collections at Pose Fair 2014. 

Poses for a blogger are just important as clothes. They give our images energy and expression, which is not an always such an easy thing to do. This is why I find it very important to credit and support these talented creators!

April Collabor88 and More!

Spring is well underway and there are a ton of AMAZING events reflecting the season this month. In fact, it has been really hard for me to keep up with all of them, since I had been away. So, I will do my best to make sure I credit all the event exclusives in this post correctly. If for some reason you can not find the item listed in the mainstore or event listed, please let me know and I will find out the correct info.
As always, my favorite monthly event is Collabor88. And, as I mentioned in the previous post, I am in LOVE with April's theme - Watercolors In Bloom!



Maylee Oh, of The Secret Store, really went all out with this theme (as she always does), creating this lovely Betsy Halter Tank and stunning Amy Highwaist Skirt. The Betsy Halter Tank is adorned with a delicate lace trimmed collar and comes with 3 wear options, which include: tucked, cropped and tunic. The Amy Highwaist Skirt is made up of a gorgeous rose brocade-like texture that is to die for! Both the tank and skirt are available in a ton of pastel colors and vivid prints that you can easily mix and match. So make sure you run and demo them ASAP!
These adorable sling-back Lily Flats are also an April Collabor88 exclusive from the talented Betty Doyle of Ingenue. These were specifically created to be worn with Slink's avatar enhanced bare feet (flat), which is another reason why I love them so much.

Pose Fair 2014 is here and there are a ton of amazing poses and props to be found at this venue. Poses are just as important to bloggers as the clothes we wear. They inspire us and help bring our ideas into a visual and expressive image.
In my first picture, I am holding a super cute umbrella in a even cuter pose. Both the umbrella and the pose, are part of Rockstarroo Gossipgirl's (of [Atooly]) pose collection, called Umbrella Time. The all mesh Umbrella Time prop comes in a beautiful array of Spring colors and the Umbrella Time pose pack includes 5 charming umbrella poses. They are a Pose Fair 2014 exclusive, so make sure you head over there to check these out all of Atooly's awesome poses!
In my second image (above pic), I am holding this seriously yummy Sweet Ice Cream cone from the adorable Nati Wiliams of Imeka Poses. This is not only a super cute prop, but the pose is scripted into it too! This is just one of 9 ice cream cone gacha poses, which are available at Seasons Story. Be sure to get over there soon and try your luck!

Izzie Button just recently released a beautiful new skin called Nomi. She has lovely delicate features and perfect pouty lips. As with all of Izzie's skins, Nomi comes with a ton of options. Here is how it works - each skin tone (fair, pale, porcelain, peach, natural, medium, sunkissed, tan, med tan and dark tanned) comes with a base skin with brows (light, blonde, dark & ginger) and/ or cleavage embedded into it, which comes to a total of 8 skin bases. Then Izzie included a multitude of tattoo layers that you can mix and match freely, in order to customize your look. These options include:

The fabulous hair that I am wearing is a recent release from the amazing Kavar Cleanslate of Exile. This stunning style is called, Full of Secrets. I really adore the generous wavy locks that can look both cute and sexy. 

This awesome headpiece, called Persephone's Halo, was created by Olivia Lalonde of Le Poppycock. It is actually one of several gacha floral hair "halos", which were an Eden Rising event exclusive. Unfortunately, the event is over, but I am sure you can find it in the Le Poppycock Mainstore. If you haven't been to Le Poppycock lately, you really need to go. You can find so many wonderful accessories and poses for very reasonable prices. 

You are probably tired of my writing by now, but I just wanted to mention the background decor real quick. This fabulous Waterfront Dock is a Home Show 2014 exclusive from {what next}. Rebirth and ISON Collabor88 Exclusives!

If you had read my previous post, then you know I had been away for the last week. My Grandmother, who I was very close to, had unexpectedly passed away. These last months in general had been fairly rough for me, which was mainly due to health issues and other RL stuff. However, after having lost such an important part of my life, it all seems quite trivial in contrast. It feels as if a huge part of myself has died. I had spent most of the last week running around non-stop and spending time with family down at my Grandmother's house in Florida. The extra family support helped soften the blow and gave me some much needed comfort. Unfortunately, now I am back home and faced with the reality of it all. This has to be one of the toughest things I have ever had to deal with. I just have been pushing myself to go through the motions of being human, trying to keep my brain occupied. For the most part, I find myself in constant state of reflection that triggers thoughts of things I need to change about myself. Hopefully, this will result in some sort of positive transformation....

Now that I said all of that, I will change the subject.

Nothing Burns Like The Cold

It's been one crazy Winter. One week warm and the next two week freezing. Everyone has the flu and is laying low, so I am trying to make the best of it. At least the days are getting longer now.
I am going to make this post quick, despite the fact that there are so many lovely items to talk about...

The super talented NyuNyu Kimono of NYU, created this super adorable shift dress for Seasons Story. I love the clean lines and minimalist look of this piece, which NyuNyu is so famous for. It just goes to show that beautifully rendered mesh and great textures speak volumes.

Nina Helix of .Birdy., made this lovely new skin that I am wearing. It is called Savannah and is a Seasons Story exclusive too. Nina also created those uber cute bunny coffee mugs behind me. They are called Bunny Cafe and are an OMGacha exclusive this month! Nina makes such amazing mesh items and you will definitely want to collect all of these Bunnies! They are only 75L per play, so make sure you try your luck!

The talented Gyorgyna Larnia finally created a new release for the LaGyo Mainstore! It is this stunning feather necklace that I am wearing. This dramatic Mollie Necklace has a bohemian feel to it, yet still makes a bold statement, I am really in love this necklace, so make sure you check it out ASAP!

Uff! I know it is hard to see, but Caelyn Hancroft created the shorter necklace. It has disk shaped pendant with a tree in it. Not only is it perfectly rendered, but it comes with a HUD that lets you fully customize the colors. I will have to wear it again to show you. Caelyn is really making a name for herself by designing some of the most beautiful jewelry on the grid. The necklace is another Seasons Story exclusive this month!

 Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea has been very busy lately, making amazing furniture and home decor items for several events this month. One of my favorite items is this Roux Coffee Station for The Neighborhood. Obviously, I love coffee and anything related to it. However, this is the perfect addition to one's virtual kitchen. Especially when it is cold outside (like it has been in RL), since it adds lots warmth and charm.

I once again apologize for my lack of posts this month. My RL has been absolutely crazy and I have not had much time for SL. Because of this, I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing and wonderful new releases and events. There are so many fabulous items to blog and so little time! I will try to make this post quick, so I can catch-up.

Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice, created this STUNNING Kirsty dress for this month's FaMESHed. This chic and flirty strapless dress is absolutely gorgeous. I love the sleek lines that are offset with a ruffle on the side. As always, Sissy rendered this dress to perfection with beautiful textures and tones. Please make sure you run and grab this lovely frock before FaMESHed comes to a close!

This gorgeous skin that I am wearing is a Cosmetic Fair Winter Edition exclusive from aida Ewing of Glam Affair. It is her latest Mokatana skin, which is available in Artic skin tone and comes 8 vibrant fashion forward make-ups. aida's skins are always lovely and well thought out. This amazing Chantelle Bib Necklace, which I decided to pair with my dress, is from that talented Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo. This all mesh piece is a carefully crafted wearable work of art. I don't typically wear antlers, but when I saw these fabulous Winter Antlers from Amberly Boccacio of Glam Affair, I just could not resist!
