Such The Perfectionist....

Ahhh!!! Okay, you would think that with my laptop working and things completely up to par, that so would my posts. But, this post took apprx 24 hrs to complete! It wasn't because I ran into any problems, well...except for myself. *Laughs* I wanted my "come back" posts to be PERFECT! So, I fussed and fussed... and then fussed some more. The more I fuss the worse it gets. I guess I am also paying too much attention to my 'flickr' feedback, which has decreased some. I automatically think that this means my work is going downhill. Well, maybe that is why I have less feedback, or it could just mean nothing. I remember getting excited over the fact that I had 10 views. I was like, "OMG! Ten people actually looked at my picture!". Now, if I don't get close to 10 favs or more, I feel like something is majorly wrong. I don't know if this is just me, who gets like this over flickr feedback, or if many of you feel the same.

Can I just tell you that Sebastien really hit the ball out of the park with these 2 styles?! He created a sex-kittish style, called 'Ingenue', which is adorned with perfect tiara. I have some awesome newness from both Truth Hawks and Summse Sands. So, what better way to show it off than to show to it together? First, we have 2 gorgeous new hair styles from Truth. I guess I wouldn't expect less....  We have a short and very flirty design called 'Florence'. This is definitely one of my new favorite styles. She comes in a version with bangs and one with side-swept bangs. We also have a super cute ponytail, which is adorned with a color change headband, named 'Pippa'. She comes in 2 versions as well. LOTD -12.4.10 Feat. *BOOM* and a few other amazing new releases!

Things have been pretty crazy with my RL. I haven't been well and just had ambulatory surgery and am currently recovering at home, so I apologize for any late reviews.  However, in all this madness, SLs designers and artists have been a huge distraction and outlet for me. I am thankful for this. One of the main reasons I started this blog, was to play to homage to all the amazing work that has been created in this virtual medium. It also provoked me to expand my own creative interests in photography and writing. So, thank you to all the incredible artists and visionaries in SL!
Anyway, enough of that mushy stuff! There have been some more amazing new releases in SL fashion, which are predominantly making up my LOTD. Aranel Ah just created some awesome new scarves, rightly called 'Righteous Muff", which are made up of the most fabulous textures and shading. Plus, they come with a cool mouth attachment that makes you look like you are breathing cold air. And, as always, they come is just about every color imaginable, including sepia for the upcoming weekly color challenge. I'm a little late to the 52 color blogger challenge, so I decided to wear the 'plum' colored muff to make-up for last weeks challenge. I know, lame....

I am also wearing the new preview version of the new '.ILLUSORY.' skin by Crushed Clarity. It is absolutely stunning and I can't take it off. I can't wait to see the whole line! I also threw on the new 'Delta Open Jacket' from moddishh GossipGirl, which is perfect for layering. Actually, most of moddishh's designs are great for layering. Summse Sands used her design genius to create the perfect boots for the Winter season. These boots are also known as the 'Linda Boots'. They come in 6 yummy colors and a creamy leather texture. The smooth leather is complemented by a soft fur trim and adeptly finished off with a pair of incredibly rendered wooden buckles. The hand drawn texture is absolutely stunning. But then, of course, I would expect no less from Summse, since all her creations are of this high caliber. Summse Sands has just created some gorgeous new tops, called the 'Matilda Top', to add to her fabulous fall collection. Once again, Summse demonstrates her amazing talents by rendering her own designs. The adorable floral texture, which comes in 6 yummy colors, is complimented by a well crafted 'A-line' prim bottom.
