Baiastice at Hair Fair 2013 and PXL's JADE!

Wow! Sissy Pessoa of  Baiastice has  really outdone herself with the hair she created for this year's Hair Fair. She made 4 stunning mesh hair styles that you simply must check-out! I am really impressed and love all of them! Please remember that part of the proceeds from the sale of these hairstyles will go to a cause that is close my heart, Wigs For Kids. I know that I have been teasing you with previews of Hart Larsson's new skin line, "JADE". Well, he has finally finished "JADE" and she is now available at the PXL mainstore! JADE comes with a plethora of wear options that I feel will please any skin connoisseur. First off, she is available in 8 gorgeous skin tones (pale, natural, light tan, sunkissed, olive, tan, dark and ebony. Each skin comes in 15 lip colors with 3 base options (regular, enhanced cheekbones and freckles) that are embedded into the skin. It also comes with a multitude of tattoo layers, which you can mix and match with ease. These layers include: 5 brow colors, a brow eraser, 3 cleavage sizes, 3 mole options, 3 lips glosses and also a glove layer for prim nails. PXL also makes appliers in all tones for Slink mesh hands and feet, as well as Lola and Lush mesh breasts. You simply must try on a demo ASAP!

All About ISON!

This post took me days to finish, because I just could not seem to take a good picture.There was always something wrong. Things such as: wrong angles, wrong light, wrong pose, etc... What made this whole situation particularly frustrating, is the fact that my clothes and hair were perfect! I had on ISON hair, an ISON dress and ISON shoes! You would think that by wearing such beautiful creations, my images would come with ease. So, the first picture that you will see, is heavily edited in Photoshop. However, I did not modify or alter my clothes and shoes.

For this post, I chose to wear Harry Hyx's (ISON) gorgeous Collabor88 exclusives. He created this lovely mesh 'ruffle dress' and these amazing 'leather strap sandals'. The sandals were developed to be worn with the Slink mesh feet (flat). I love the fact that so many designers are doing this with their shoes, especially since I was never a fan of my ugly avatar feet. Plus, now that there are appliers for the the Slink mesh feet, I don't have to spend hours trying to match my feet to my skin. 

When I thought about accessorizing my outfit, I did not have to go any further than Collabor88. There are so many incredible items to be found this month! I chose this brilliant mesh clutch 'Owl Clutch' from Marie Lauridsen (of Milk Motion), a delicate 'Sketchy Flower Necklace' from Natalee Oodles (of Noodles) and pretty little 'Midsummer Blossom' earrings from Polyester Partridge (of Yummy . Oh, and of course, a beautiful statement ring and bracelet from Gyorgyna Larnia's (of LaGyo) 'Axila Collection'! 

The stunning skin I am wearing is also from this month's Collabor88. I absolutely LOVE aida Ewing's (Glam Affair) new 'LuLu' skin line. The lips are simply delicious! aida created a collection of 5 skins in various tones and wonderful make-ups.

Harry Hyx (ISON) not only makes fabulous clothes, but he makes fabulous hair too! He created three AMAZING new hair styles for Hair Fair 2013. The hair textures are outstanding and come in HUD driven tone packs. The HUD not only includes solid colors, but fades and ombre options too! I am in love with every style he has made and I definitely look forward to seeing more hair from him in the future.

The Home Show Featuring Pixel Mode

Tya Fallingbridge is so talented! From shoes to home decor, she creates it all! She also makes such items, which are perfect mesh renderings, with an extraordinary eye for detail and texture. One such creation, is her Home Show exclusive, 'The Lake House'.

 This cozy little home is simple yet luxurious. The house is semi-furnished too! It comes with a yummy over-sized white linen bed, which has tons of amazing animations (you can choose from Adult or PG versions of the house) as well as props.

It also has large walk-in shower with a stone floor and more animations (single and couple). Oh! And there is also a stunning ceiling fan over the bed.

Now, if you like lots of light, this is definitely the perfect home for you, since it is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and sky lights.

Not to mention, there is huge deck to lounge around on too.

The land Impact of this home comes to 135, which is not bad for all the detail and furnishings.

Exile for 'Hair Fair' 2013 and 'Boutique' exclusives!

Hair Fair 2013 is going strong. It is definitely one of my favorite events of the year. Not to mention, donations from all event exclusives and 100% of all bandanna sales, go to Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids is a very special and favored charity of mine. It provides children, who are already having a tough time fighting cancer, regain some of the self-esteem due to the hair loss from their intense cancer treatments. The Boutique is here again and there are so many fabulous exclusives! The theme is Safari and all the designers this cycle went all out! One such exclusive is from Tricky Boucher of Belleza. He released a very special and extremely beautiful edition of his 'Ava' skin line. All the make-ups are so lovely and neutral in color. You simply must demo this special edition before it is gone!

Speaking of awesome 'Boutique' exclusives, Inex Hax of Peqe created this wonderful mesh 'Silk Tank' with four colors to choose from. Miss C. Hair at Hair Fair 2013!

DjAngeI Fallen of Mr and Miss C. Hair is probably one of the very few hair designers, who still does not use all mesh. Now you may think this is odd, but there are still many people who like prim hair. Especially, since it is easy to modify and has a nice natural flow. A Mid-Summer Night's Theme

OMG! As I previously mentioned, I am in LOVE with Collabor88's heme this month - 'A Mid-Summer Night's Dream'. All the designers really went above and beyond with all their Collabor88 exclusives. This is sort of a two part post. I got together with an old friend and blogger, Kaelyn Alecto, to show off a couple of these gorgeous designs. Cheeky Pea - Rowan Tea Spa for FaMESHed, Izzie's Latest Skin and LaGyo Axila Set for C88

I have been so frustrated lately with the new viewer and server baking issues. Plus, to top it all off, I think my graphic card is going on my laptop. So, suffice it to say, I am quite frustrated. I also started all the following pics on Sunday! It is now Wednesday and I am finally posting them! WTF? LOL! I spent hours fussing with the viewer, since I would lose detail (or whole meshes) if I zoomed out. This has never been an issue. Shadows also do not work like they used to either. I did several retakes and several different edits on each pic. This is a blog, not an art gallery. But, I just couldn't stand the quality of my images. In fact, I am still not happy with them, but sometimes you just have to put an end to the insanity!
Ok, enough complaining. Isla Gealach, of Cheeky Pea, has created this AMAZING 'Rowan Tea Spa' for FaMESHed. It is simply adorable and so beautifully rendered. I love the tea cup shaped tub and the many brilliant animations that come with it too.You definitely have to come check this set out!

I decided to take a spa day, while wearing the latest skin from Izzie Button. Her name is "Jill" and is simply lovely. As always, Izzie's skin comes with a ton of make-up options on tattoo layers. As well as freckle and brow options. Do yourself a favor and try on a demo!

Last Minute Collabor88 MUST haves!

I am going to make this quick, since  Collabor88 closes at 1159pm SLT this evening. I have few more gorgeous items that you have to check-out before it ends. One of these items, is this fabulous 'Cargo Vest' from Harry Hyx of ISON. As you probably well know, I am huge fan of all of Harry's work. His mesh creations are simply divine! I love the relaxed, yet still very chic, look of this vest.

Btw, I must apologize for the crappy pics. I think my graphic card is going to die. I am hoping that maybe it is just from changes taken place during the roll out of server side baking. Regardless, it was impossible to take a clear pic. I checked every single issue it could be viewer wise (ie, anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, window size, high res enabled, etc...). 

Anyway, back to my look... I paired the vest with another awesome Collabor88 exclusive. It is this simple, but seriously adorable, 'Retro Top' from Elisaokkbye Resident of [okkbye].

I needed the perfect necklace to go with this ensemble, so I chose to wear Maxi Gossamer's beautifully made '92 Summer Of Love' necklace. This is another June Collabor88 exclusive and is available in gold or silver. It is texture change too! Oh! Check-out the pillow in the above pic? Isn't it cute? I love these! It is called the "Chill Pillow" and it is available in a ton of colors that coincide with the zodiac. So, since my birthday is October 2nd, I chose 'Libra'. M4ri1yn Magic of  ~Tableau Vivant~  , made this for this June's  Collabor88 as well. 

Bubbles Clawtooth always makes the best hair styles! I could not resist wearing his new long and sleek style, called "Over Me". Like all of the other items I mentioned, it is June  Collabor88 exclusive. The skin, however, is not. But, gorgeous none-the-less. This skin is from aida Ewing of -Glam Affair- and is part of her latest 'Summer' skin line. This was made for the United Fashion Project, which is another event you will want to check-out. Even if it only to get this amazing new skin...

One last thing, and then I will shut-up. Cory Edo, of Trompe Loeil, created this fantastic 'Rustic Cabin' for June's Collabor88. This cozy cabin comes with a new 'materials enabled' version for the SL viewer. I think this option should be coming to Firestorm too. I hope so, since it is the viewer I use.

Last Day For June Collabor88!

I am going to make this post really short, since this cycle of Collabor88 is coming to end at 11:59 SLT. The theme is called "Chill Pill" and is basically made-up of bright colors that you would see at rave and fabulous retro 90s designs. For this post I am featuring one of my favorite looks from Julliette Westerburg of -tres blah-. It is a floral 'Spaghetti Strap Dress' with a t-shirt layered underneath. You can also opt to wear it sans t-shirt too. However, I feel this creation definitely signifies '90s casual retro at it's best! So, make sure you hurry over to Collabor88 before it ends!

The Home Show Is Here!

There are a lot of events that are going on this Summer. One of my favorite types of events involve home and garden creations. So, suffice it to say, I am really excited to be a part of this year's Home Show. The Home Show's awesome organizer, Valena Vacano, managed to put together two beautiful sims full of SL's best home/garden decor builders and designers. There are so many fabulous event exclusives that I had no clue to where to start! I decided on the garden. I had fallen in love with this adorable and beautifully made, 'Garden Daybed' from Tegan Serin of floorplan. They come in several colors/patterns choices, as well as having a ton of great animations to choose from. I added some shabby chicness to the mix with Cory Edo's, of Trompe Loeil, 'Pallet Chairs'. They come in 3 different style options - regular, with pillow and with a blanket. I needed a table, so I used this 'Deconstructed Coffee Table' from Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea. This coffee table is gorgeous and has so many amazing little details too. Be sure to see to more of it. LOL.

I could not help but show-off this brilliant 'Mesh Garden Shed' from Heavenly Villa of L'aize Dayz. Her eye for detail is extraordinary.The structure is simple, pretty and the perfect addition to any garden (just like all the other items in these images). Since I have had a crazy week, I decided to sneak a quick LOTD into this post too. I have been wanting to post this lovely 'Boat Set' from Marry Lemur of Overhigh. I think this is definitely the quintessential short set for Summer. Marry has been releasing tons of wonderful new creations lately, so be sure to stop by her store and check it all out.

The stunning skin I am wearing, is the soon-to-be-released 'Jade' skin from Hart Larsson of [PXL Creations]. 'Jade' definitely represents a new generations of skins for [PXL]. There are major changes in this skin's shading and features, especially the lips (which I LOVE). Please stay tuned for a full release within the next couple of weeks! 

This 'Pig Tail' styled hair from Kavar Cleanslate of Exile, is just too cute for words! It is not a new release, but a fairly recent release that I have been waiting for a chance to blog. So, be sure to TP over to Exile and try on Kavar's new styles. You will be really like his new HUD hair coloring system too. There are so many options to choose from now!
